I had a bad experience with this nail salon (beauty and butter SM Taytay). I thought that since it is pricey ( I got their foot fetish package of P650 wich includes a foot spa, scrub and pedi) I will get what I paid for. I was mistaken. The lady assigned to me, good thing I forgot her name, managed to scrub my left heel too much that I now have two small patches of red skin on it, and have been tiptoeing on my left foot bec of that. The following day they texted me asking how was my experience. I was grateful for the concern and I thought, well, at least they follow up on their clients. But when I went back the following day to have my heel treated, not even one crew even asked for an apology. I think I deserve even a half-baked apology! They just gave me a little container half-fillled with a cream which the label says 'erases post-depilation redness'. I have no idea what that means but that cream is nowhere effective. It has been 3 days and the patches are still visibly red and I am still tiptoeing... I hate ranting. And I pity the ladies working there. But I have to write this feedback, first, as a reminder for salon workers not to be overconfident and take their jobs lightly, and second, because costumers have to be aware of what they might get into.

I usually go to Nailaholics but there was a 30 minute wait so i tried this place instead.

Loved the colorful interiors! They put a lot of thought into the design of their multi purpose furniture. The stools double as storage spaces and the covers are also used to cover the sink then you can put your feet on top of it too. The cushioned "arm rests" works 2 heights.

I got a basic mani/pedi w/out nail polish and their basic foot spa. It took about an hour and felt so relaxing. The scrubs/lotion and alcohol they used weren't icky. They smelled good actually. (I don't like applying lotion or anything sticky to my body)

Janet was very pleasant and made sure i was comfortable. In general, magaan kamay niya but there was an instance that i had to pull back my hand a bit coz something hurt (i have thin, very sensitive skin)

*Plus points for super speedy wifi!
**They accept credit cards but the minimum spend is p500
