Lunch out with the cousins at the newly renovated Behrouz branch along Wilson street. I'm not familiar with their food as I've only been to their Metrowalk branch once. I relied on the recommendations of my cousins and we ended up ordering food to share.

We had the Chelo Beef Kabab Kobideh which was so huge. The meat was mostly buried underneath the rice. It didn't impress me on my first bite but it sure tasted better when drowned in the white sauce. I liked the rice that was mixed with BUTTER. They even ordered extra butter.

The Yogurt with Cucumber was too sour when eaten as is but when combined with the BTO (Beef w/ Tomatoes and Onions) it was ok.

I loved the BTO and could eat it with pita bread or rice. It was so flavorful although a bit oily. The cousins said the BTO with Humus was even better.

The Chicken Barbecue was ok and had a smokey grilled slightly charred feel. It tasted better with the white sauce.

The place was packed for a weekday lunch and there were only 2 or 3 parking slots. The servers could be a bit more attentive and smiley.

I wasn't that impressed with my overall dining experience but I would go back for the BTO and try it with Humus. My cousins said that they usually go to Behrouz after a late night gimmick or drinking session.

I had a shawarma it had a lot of beef! Marinade
Tasted like it was soy sauce based, very generous serving of beef even if I got the small. Pardon the picture as I was excited to dig in!

Always a go-to spot for late nights out. Food here has been consistently good through the years and it's quite affordable.

Mirza Ghazemi to go! With pita bread. This is the first time I tried the Mirza Ghazemi and matched it with their garlic sauce and hot sauce. After getting tired of the pita bread, I grabbed our kaldero and stuffed rice in my face.

Aside from the Mirza Ghazemi with egg, my friend liked their chicken kabab but seems like the marinade is not enough. Also, you can taste the yogurt in their staple hummus. Not sure if I like that, though.128528 Oh oh, and they should add chicken shawarma in their menu!!

Sorry! I was so hungry that I didn't manage to get a good picture out of this.

One toxic night of work, I was so hungry that I wanted something to fill me that fast food chains wouldn't fix. Luckily I saw behrouz open on my way home, it was actually hard to tell if it was open or not because their lightings are a bit dim and there was not even a single car parked.

The lady staff hurriedly opened the door as she noticed me and greeted me, but as soon as the door swung open I already got disappointed. The place smelled old and filthy, a kind that Gordon Ramsey should help to fix.

Hurriedly I ordered two shawarma to go, with the other one all meat, without even looking at their menu. And while waiting I was hoping no cockroaches would show up and not a single one would jump into my food.

Glad it took them just 5 minutes to serve my order.

The shawarma wasn't the kind that was roasted, it tasted like it was sautéed or fried, something savory but doesn't have that flamed taste which you regularly get in food stalls.

I was happy with my order although it was hard to eat because it wasn't wrapped tightly, boyfie was disappointed with his batch cause there was too little of the meat that it looked like a wilted shawarma.

Food is great and authentic. It's cheap compared to other persian cuisine. I always order 2pita bread,2beef kebeb, ox brain and iced tea. I rated it a 4 since everytime i order iced tea. You can still see the sugar at the bottom of the glass. Other than that you can never go wrong with this place. Good food after drinking session coz they are open at the wee hours of midnight. Alot of people go here late at night. It could be that this is the next best thing to eat aside from gotto or pares after a good night out drinking.

Really good food at an affordable price compared to other persian cuisine restaurAnt. This is also the place to go if you're asking for real food than fast food.

I always ordered their Beef Kobideh which is 2 beef and basmati rice.Huge serving, good for 2 hungry people. Hummus is also great with Pita bread! Their shakes are also that good!

Come and try it now!
Always open at 5pm to 5am!

Behrouz is a go to place at 1 am onwards, when there aren't a lot of choices left as most restaurants are closed by this time.

It smells funky inside. It's dirty too. Because of it's shabby appearance, you'd think the food would be cheap but it's not.

Beef kebab is dry. Keema (BTO) is okay. Ox brain is also okay but I suggest you ask then to have it "toasted" so that it's not undercooked. I had my ox brain toasted twice as it still appeared undercooked when they first served it.

The good thing about this place is that it's open until 3 am and I like that they serve extra butter (a slice is worth P10) for your rice.

Went here for dinner before watching "Gravity". We ordered for chicken kebabs, lamb kebabs and beef kebabs plus bunch of pita breads.

Serving time took 10-15 minutes. The place itself looks smaller than their branch in Timog, but looks cleaner. The serving of their kebabs are much larger than the one we had in Timog with the same prices.

Food itself is good, their pita breads also taste better here. Customer service is so-so!
