Not the best kebab I've had but it wasn't bad either. I got to try the beef and the lamb, and I preferred the beef.

The servings are big but for the 280-300+ it's just sakto actually, because I think it's good for sharing.

I also enjoyed their watermelon shake and the ice cream cake in Toblerone flavor was good too! 128076

Service was just okay. I mean there seems to be a lot of waiters, but it takes them awhile to get back to you. 128584

I don't think I'll be back soon, but at least I know one new place to get my kebab fix.

My mom and dad brought me to Behrouz to let me try it. Cause they kept on comparing it to Halal guys. Well I must say the Basmati rice was really good and filling at the same time. The 2nd picture is a hummus and pita bread. At first I didn't want to try it but I ended up loving it. 128522 The 3rd is their chicken which is really delish!!

The price was fair. Service was great.

Overall, I couldn't compare it Halal guys cause they use different meat and rice. Maybe if I get the chance to use the Legit Halal Guys I have the right to compare 128522

I am a sucker for Persian food. There's just something about its distinct flavor that makes me want to eat more than I should!

Behrouz Persian Cuisine is located at Metrowalk in Ortigas. Upon arriving at the quaint and quiet restaurant, we were immediately given their menu. Most of the food listed were very foreign to me but I was familiar with a few of them: Pita, Humus, Shawarma, and Kabab.

It's mostly these, but with a few variations. We ordered Humus with Pita, Shawarma, Chelo Beef Kabab Kobideh, and Dogh (Yogurt Shake).

We only waited for a few minutes before the food we ordered were served. I was so excited! Although the colors are a little bland, the flavors were very distinct.

The Humus goes perfectly with the Pita Bread, topped with their specialty sauces. The Shawarma was a bit dry & the cubes of beef were bigger than the average shawarma. On the other hand, the Kabab Kobideh was TDF! It's just excellent. The tenderness was perfect! The Dogh sealed the dinner - it couldnt be any more refreshing 10084

Price is very reasonable. It just cost us 600 pesos for two :)

My love for this place, everlasting. 10084️ It never lets me down, except when they don't have Ox Brain. Lol.

I must say, the Metrowalk branch is so run down. I can't even stand to sit inside anymore. Their fixtures are old and dirty.

I would recommend you sit outside, because the inside reeks!

The unpretentious nature of the place, the go to dishes of kebabs, hummus and mouttabal... And they use real basmati

Yuck! I just came from this branch now and I walked out immediately! I didn't even bother to eat anything. The place was dilapidated and outdated. The table we were seated at had a cockroach on it -- gross!! This is why we left. Nakakawalang gana kumain sa lugar na to. Ang dumi dumi!! Kung may cockroach na sa lamesa what more sa pagkain nila?? Malinos kaya yung kitchen nila? The health department should check out this place.

It's been awhile since I last dined here. Food quality has remained the same.
Each bite is appetizing and the challenge I often have is not to order another serving. Almost any Kabab here will make you happy. Just choose the meat you prefer. And boom. Persian food bliss.
Oh, it is always good to upgrade your rice to Basmatih. Totally worth it.

Despite the fact they got more expensive, the taste and quantity did not suffer with the change.

I still love their lamb kebab. But what struck me the most was the chicken kebab. It was the first time i tried it because im a huge lamb eater thats why I always order lamb kebab.

They did not fail to satisfy my cravings! I love how the curry spice that was mixed in with the chicken kebab gave it a unique flavor and taste!

It's good persian food that won't break the bank!
My favorites: keema (ground beef with onion & tomatoes), beef kebab and, of course, basmati rice with butter!
Tip: their QC branch (somewhere around timog/morato area) is cheaper :)

Ox brain is awesome! You may also try their famous shawarma rice, mutable (eggplant salad) and grilled tomato. Thanks again to my top bosses for introducing us here.

Had an unexpected second dinner here at Behrouz where I met up with my cousins and some of their friends fresh from Singapore. Now this is isn't my first time at behrouz this is actually the place which created my liking for Persian cuisine. Service was good, the ambiance seemingly did not change since my last visit. Their ambiance isn't the best but the food will definitely keep you coming back. Love the kebabs and the house yogurt which is rather cheap. We ended up ordering too much.
