This I really loved as I am an old soul. I love everything back from 1980s down history.

So it is no doubt the Bell House turned museum caught my eye. It has been preserved and taken care of well to catch anyone's eye. Well, it is decorated as the typical American interior, but you have to appreciate it.

It's stands more than 100 years now!

The walls are mostly still made out of wood and the flooring is shone to reflect the warm lights. The curtains are the best, as I had always dreamed peeking out of a white curtained window. And not in a creepy way. Think more of the time of the Notebook.

What I would give to travel back in time.

The museum has 2 bedrooms you can take pictures in, but no sitting on the furniture. (but looks like some did though). A wonderful dining room with a 12 seater table.

A huge sitting room with a fireplace to keep guests warm. I would imagine it being cold way back when.

People must have played in the grand piano which I longed to touch to hear the notes resonate.

I would bet Mr. Bell hosted various parties here..

I've already liked this house even in pictures. Fell in love with it when I saw it up close.

I felt a bit of shivers when I was inside the house, maybe because of its history.. 🙂

I'm just wondering.. How to go inside the library from the main house??

I would love to have a house like this. Just a simple 1 storey house amidst a place full of pine trees and gardens. That'd be THE LIFE!

Everytime I enter places like this, I always imagine the events that may have taken place inside. Again, if only walls could talk...

pretty place. the rest house is currently being restored but people can still visit.

we were able to walk around the garden and even went to the small secret garden. not much flowers there but it was cute.

the entrance is P60 per person.

Bell House: A fine, classic piece of American Architecture 127983

It is a preserved historic house that is located inside the Camp John Hay. It was such a beauty! It has a less than 100 pesos entrance fee. Cheap fee yet worth it 9786
