Gem in the middle of nowhere! Loved their potato wedges, sausage and fish platters, pasta was good too! Loved the beer on tap they had and that they had real good coffee.:)

This visit would have been better if their waitresses were a bit more corteous. Just as we arrived while everyone was being seated, since it was really hot, I asked water from a waitress (Jhane in specific) scratched her head in irritation and told me "Sandali lang ah, pwede bang isa isa". I haven't even asked her for anything.. No one has actually asked her for anything. Food was okay, probably could have been better if the service was better.

Super love everything we had!

As far as I can remember we ordered...
-classic bagnet
-garlic-chili Bagnet
- pinakbet
- fish platter
-pancit
-bergblick-pan
And some salad... I think it's Caesar salad with chicken on top

It all so good and I'll make sure to stop by this place every time I visit ilocos. Superb! 128525

After the long day on our second stay in Ilocos, we explored authentic Ilocandia cuisine. We rely solely on our trainer's google map to find for a place to eat. A couple of minutes and king sun is about to say goodbye, we found ourselves lost. So kuya Ricky, our driver/tour guide turn around and headed to BergBlick Restaurant.

How the heck we got here? Thank you LOOLOO!!! 128536 Good thing looloo helped me with the restaurant search. It's features where you can sort your search into different categories is such a winner! 128076

Going to my review. Please bear on my food names. I almost forgot them. BergBlick was a German restaurant. I wanted to try their sausages but the BBQ pork with BergBlick Sauce magnetised me. The meat was not so tender. Comes with rice and two sauces. Pwede na. 128076 My bf got himself a chicken with white sauce. Ohhh... I clearly forgot. 128557 Bad review but you can refer to the picture incase you wanted to order such. Anyway, it was good! Chicken was good for 1-2person. Tho you still need to buy extra rice 'coz the meal includes only potatoes. And for our dessert we got their famous creme brûlée with matching showmanship. 128514 It was not my favorite since I'm a big sugar sucker. 128514128514

Place was cozy. A little small tho. And AC was not functioning that time b'coz of the blackout. But atleast we hoped they got fans on steady.
Food was good. Big serving and affordable price. 128076

This German-Filipino restaurant was one of the must visit places in Ilocos Norte (based on blogs). 128187127860

I was excited to try this one out for dinner but got pissed when we got there. We were so tired and hungry from our day's activities just to find out that they don't have food anymore. 128548
What made it worse is the fact that we called them before going there. They told us to go and did not inform us that they have limited supply. 128528
To cut the long story short, they only had two pasta choices available: 127837
1. Spaghetti "Funghi" in cream sauce and ham (aka Carbonara)
and
2. Spaghetti "Arrabiata".
We were travellers from the South, exhausted and with empty stomachs and with no other restaurant to go to. We didn't have a choice. 128528128555
We ordered just one of each and split them in two. In fairness to them, the "Arrabiata" was perfect! I like how it tasted with just the right amount of sourness of the tomatoes with a little spicy flavor that makes it more interesting. And it was healthy. 9786128076
It was so good we wanted another one but got disappointed when they said that the kitchen was already closed. 128078128553
The aka Carbonara was missing something... We're not sure if salt or pepper or both but it needs some more spice.... With a little more spice added, we think it would taste good too.

Customer service is very important in a restaurant business. If you want to be popular, you need to be able to please people in order for them to personally recommend you. I think it was just bad timing (in our situation). I just hope we had the chance to try their other dishes since I was really looking forward to it. 128532

By the way, they gave us complimentary drinks due to the incident above which I find proper (Peace offering 9996️). 128077127865127847

I think that their food is really good (given the fact that we only trie 2 pastas and ended up very happy with one). Too bad it'll take me a long time before I eventually try them.

Piece of advise, go there before dark (maybe lunch time). Or might as well call them and specifically ask them if they can still serve any dish that you might like before going (for assurance). 128527

German-Filipino restaurant off the highway.

They serve fairly priced platters good for 2-3 pax. I liked the seafood platter, though the kind of fish may be seasonal. Their pancit bihon was also good. We loved the sinigang na isda! Their tomatoes were also really fresh (came with the platter). But what i loved the most was the fresh mint tea! Just ask for a refill if it's kulang.

Must try: fresh mint tea

The owners are very accomodating and the servers are excellent. It's certified by trip advisor as well. The food was excellent as well. A must try is the sausage feast. All vegetables are organic too and homegrown.

Food was so-so. I cannot even remember it now. I give it three stars. The 4th star is for the creme brulee. Just the right sweetness and creaminess.

I enjoyed their pancit canton, clubhouse sandwich and dragon fruit shake. With a very nice view of the mountain also. Will try their sausages next time. :)
