I celebrated New Year 2016 here because I did not want to have the feels of being alone in my apartment for New Year. Plus I had to work till before midnight so I needed to secure a good Wi-Fi connection.

This is a good place to stay in, you just need to have your reservations, specifying what you need, if it should be a non-smoking room, in a higher floor level, etc. It is very convenient if you'll have late-night cravings. Restaurants and convenience stores are everywhere. Lastly room is cozy enough and has good bed linen and it is carpeted.

One thing though, they need to upgrade their elevators because theirs is very tight plus it's old school compared to elevators in new buildings today.

I did not interact much with the staff so I did not see any problem with them.

I've stayed at Berjaya a couple of times.  The first few visits was courtesy lf hotel vouchers i purchased from someone.

Berjaya reminds me of Hotel Cortez,  not in a bad way.  It has that Old Hollywood Vintage feel.  The room is mediocre,  not the kind i would rave about.  Spacious and clean.  Furniture is a lil dated and yes,  dim lighting again.  And oh,  the loo is spacious and i love spending x number of hours in the tub while reading Keroac.

If you feel like travelling back in time,  check Berjaya.

Staycation! It's 15-20 minutes walk to greenbelt and other malls but you'll have many choices on what to eat when you go out of the hotel. There's also a nearby food bazaar.

Had a staycation with my hubby here. We stayed at the 9th floor which wasn't pretty bad at all overlooking the A venue stalls. We arrived there almost 1pm already and still able to make it for their buffet. Dishes was good but just a variety of 2 or 3 dishes which I wasn't expected. Their Indian cuisine, I think it was Masala or whatever was very good. Tender meat and taste authentic, I guess haha!

Hotel is near malls, gimik areas, and food chains. We will probably be back for another staycation with my hubby. 128522

This was my birthday greeting for my friend Pau. Haha! Our barkada had her debut here. The place is pretty small and I think way below my friend's taste but I think they chose this because they rushed the planning and because she was going to Paris LOL may her mom deducted the cost of this there haha the elevators were weird too food was just okay although I expect that as long as you're a hotel you should have good food no matter what

Visited Berjaya Hotel Makati to try their buffet. Buffets are our thing so we really go exploring hotels and restos. The experience was ok, maybe because we did not enjoyed the food too much. Their advertisement says they offer international fusions but the food choices were all more of the malaysian know, curry and spices, rotis and all. ( I like curry but my sister don't). There just a few on the menu but the ambiance is really "cute" since it really shows the colorful malaysian culture and tradition

We had a meeting here and while waiting, we ordered some cakes: Cheesecake and Fudge Brownie Cake (each slice comes with a free brewed coffee or tea).

Both tasted heavenly; they should be, given the price (250++/slice). But they offer 50% off on all cakes after 5pm. Coffee is okay; the usual hotel coffee taste.

Ambience is so-so--not so good for business meetings. People pass by the tables as they come in and out of the hotel lobby.
