Giving out this lone star for the nice photogenic pools and beach but I couldn’t give any more since we experienced the worst service here. I read a lot about their service online but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt but we became victims as well.

The beach was dirty, there was a lot of garbage lying on the sand. But what irked me the most was the poor service in their restaurant. We waited 1.5 hours for our food and everyone kept following up, and they kept saying they could only serve one table at a time so they can’t serve us until they’re done with the other table. The family beside us were already furious as they waited almost an hour and all that was served was rice.

I had enough and cancelled our order after 1.5 hours of waiting and no apology or sign of remorse from the crew, probably even relieved that they would have less orders. We decided to go out to buy food outside, and the guard told us that they may give our parking slot to other incoming cars. At that point I was “hangry” and told the guard we wouldnt even need to go out if not for their useless restaurant. Worst service ever experienced. I really hope they improve their service since the place is pretty decent considering their affordable rates.

This wasn't the first beach I've visited in Batangas. But this was so far the best. The beach wasn't that much but it was beautiful. They have tents and cottages at the beach front. You could rent it for at least 50-100 I guess. They offer island hoping that costs 1000. But too bad we weren't able to try it because we just arrived and we have to pack our things and so on.

The beach was nice, but I enjoyed more in the pool. Hahahah. The pool was great. Supposedly it was only until 11pm. But maybe because the people were having so much fun, the management decided to adjust and let us enjoy it. They didn't lack service because the lifeguard was there the whole time. The only time he was not there was lunch time, but he was near the pool area incase.

Incase you accidentally left your swimsuit back at home, you could buy from their store. Swimsuits costs around 500 I think. They serve breakfast but you could bring your own, but you'll have to pay the corkage. Not more than 100.

The food and beverages are a bit pricey, but it was okay because the food are delicious. They serve common filipino food like "silog". Over all, out stay there was fun! Hope you visit it next summer!

Been here last wednesday to friday! Affordable prices and great services! Plus, the public market is near at the resort so! I am feeling the major separation anxiety from this place. Loving the view!! Possible to go back soon!

Looking for a decent resort at an affordable price in an area where resorts line up like there's no end can be difficult at times. It's why we had to do some research first, and look at some blogs and photos before deciding where to stay for the weekend in Nasugbu, Batangas.

We were already decided to check-in in a certain resort when we came across Bernabeach Resort. Based from the photos we saw online, it was well-maintained and looks really good. We then called the number posted on its website to ask for rates. Much to our surprise, they had a 10% off on room rates since it was off-peak season. Because of it, we had a change of heart.

Upon arrival at the resort, the guard instructed us to go to the reception area for checking in, and then we were guided by one of their staffs to our room. What the photos promised us was exactly it, no overselling. It was well-maintained and even have their own restaurant if in case one is too lazy to dine out. Since it was an off-peak season, their resto had a very limited array of cuisines, all Filipino. We wanted Sinigang na Baboy, but apparently, even though it's on their menu, it wasn't available. So, we had Pork Sisig and Chicken Pork Adobo instead.

Bernabeach Resort also offers a variety of activities, ranging from jet skiing to kayaking. If you're the chill out, just-want-to-get-away-from-the-city type, you can simply lounge in the pool. We wanted to kayak, but we worry that we might end up in the middle of the sea because there are no boundaries as to where you can sail.

The beach itself was a bit disappointing. I guess the lack of ordinance or implementation to keep it clean is to be blamed for it. It's fine with me that the sand isn't fine white, but what bothered me was the garbage left on the shore. It's not a lot, though, but disturbing, nonetheless. I hope they soon enforce strict implementation to keep their beach -- the places bread and butter -- garbage free.

Nothing beats Boracay and Palawan in terms of the beach and their hotels, but if ever you find yourself looking for a resort that doesn't require a plane or more than a five-hour drive, then Batangas is the place for you. There are other beaches in the province that promises a better, more picturesque scenery, so I advice you go there instead. In Nasugbu, however, I can say that Bernabeach resort is the best in terms of its look and feel.
