Most of the people I know from GenSan suggested Big Ben, so I did. The food was alright. They have steak and tuna and other Filipino dishes. I ordered the Beef Salpicao and pumpkin soup. The soup was okay. It wasn't that creamy as how I would've liked it but it was still good. The beef salpicao tasted okay too. It kinda lacked salt/pepper. But the beef was so tender it was so easy to chew. Overall there's really nothing special with their dish or maybe I ordered the wrong thing. But the price was okay too. Obviously their steaks would be expensive. But I would def try it next time. Serving time was fast.
Ambiance is good. It had some
Sort of like a spanish restobar vibe.

Do not leave unattended.

I never knew your P400 could take you to a great 3-course meal which ends with thick angus beef steaks. This place is heaven sent! The freshness of their food is literally orgasmic. I can still remember the feeling. You know that the food is stellar when it moves you, once it touches your taste buds. This is the real deal, fellas!

If I only had a lot of money, I'll get a franchise!

From ambiance, to service, to food quality. This gensan resto rocks big time! :)

We ordered top blade steak, tuna sashimi and tuna belly. Their dishes are a far cry from the food we get to taste in Manila. Believe me, if you miss big ben on a gensan trip, you're missing out on life itself.

Bigben fan!!! Bigtime.

Patronized by both foreigners and locals, Big Ben has gained recognition throughout the area for their prime steaks and seafood. They have also been featured a number of times in the press, a testament to the popularity of their food.

Ordered the baked oysters, kare-kare, and their hanging tenders steak. And they did not disappoint. They impressed! The serving sizes were huge, flavors were a winner and the meat was just so tender. Bliss!

As for the ambiance, the restaurant has a casual bistro feel and look that exudes a homey and relaxed environment. Service was good, as the staff were kind and attentive.

They are definitely the restaurant one should visit when in GenSan!
