BBB has always reminded me of quality family time spent over big, juicy burgers. Ever since it opened some 7 years ago, I have been craving over their dishes. Since Ms. Ria immediately told me about the event, I made it a point to visit and catch up with the place. According to the owner, BBB has been expanding with now over 11 branches. Their newest is the one in Tagaytay which actually earns more than 2 branches combined. The one in SM north, on the other hand, transferred to the second floor of the Annex building from its original place at the first floor.

BBB has always exemplified quality when it comes to cooking up its burgers. Its burger patties are the secret formula of the owner who has always cooked up burgers for his family, even to the point that they spent one year on it. These patties are topped with high quality ingredients such as premium cheddar cheese, fresh lettuce and tomatoes, premium bacon, and oat-topped buns. The sizes are pretty excellent too; and prices range from 100-400 per burger.

During the taste test, we were served 8 of their best-selling burgers, with a few rice meals to boot. The entourage was composed of: the blue cheese burger, the Triple XXX Burger, the cheese burger, the Hahalapeno burger, the Bacon Wildshroom Melt, the Mushroom Loco Burger, the Shiitake Terriyaki Burger, and the Bacon BBQ Burger. The rice meals and pasta were composed of the Pesto Sauce Pasta, the Southern Comfort Rice, and the Chicken Tenders Rice.

The burgers that made a good impression on me were the Triple XXX Burger, the Blue Cheese Burger, and the Shiitake Terriyaki Burger. These three served as the pinnacle of my excitement as I proceeded to taste them. The Triple XXX Burger was the largest. At 369 pesos, it's pretty good for sharing and barkada dates. The same good quality patty was topped with more cheese and bacon. Add to that some good fries for 60 pesos and you have something that can last you till dinnertime. I especially liked the patty for being tender and tasty. Add to that the fact that it wasn't oily and greasy. It was also obvious that the beef was grilled to perfection.

The other notable burger, the Blue Cheese, is a favorite of many of its patrons. The imported goat cheese is a welcome complement to the patty and the bun. Also, not a lot of burger joints in the area serve expensive cheese for its toppings. The 145 price tag is also excellent for the quality. I used to eat a lot of this before, by the way.

The Shiitake Terriyaki Burger is another paragon of excellence. The meat, this time, was topped with tasty shiitake mushroom for highly enjoyable consumption. The mushroom serving was aplenty, and this served to enhance the already excellent flavor of the patty. At 145, its was truly a steal.

The one I liked the most is the Bacon Wildshroom Melt. The Bacon Wildshroom Melt is a staple for Meat + Cheese lovers who want a kick out of their food. BBB's version comes with a generous helping of Bacon with sizzling cheese and huge mushroom slices. My love affair with the two basic ingredients has made me reaffirm it even more. at 189, it truly matches the price tag for that other burger store that sells the same item, albeit at a lesser quality.

So that's it folks. BBB is located at the second floor Annex building, SM North Edsa, Quezon City.

After having milk tea, my friends decided to have dinner before going home. After walking back and forth at SM North EDSA Annex, we've finally decided to go at Big Better Burgers and ordered their rice meals.

I tried the regular sized Bistro Rice (109.00) and mixed Strawberry Red Tea and Cucumber Lemonade (Php 34.00 16oz). The patty tasted so good, very juicy and well seasoned and the gravy is tasteful as well.

My friends tried the regular Southern Comfort (Php 139.00). They used the same patty, however they found the sauce too sour.

I super liked the mixed Strawberry Red Tea and Cucumber Lemonade! The taste of strawberry and cucumber blend so well.128077🏼

PRICE: The price is just so right that for only less than 150 pesos, you'll get a delicious food that will satisfy your hunger.

PLACE: The place is kinda small but it accomodates all of their customers.

If you're craving for burgers but on a tight budget, I highly recommend this place. 128077🏼

One of the best burgers I've ever tasted around the metro.

What I had was the Quarter Pounder Bacon Bleu Cheese Burger!! Coz I'm a big fan of cheese!! 10084

Sadly, during the time that we dined at their place they didn't have any available sides which was kind of disappointing.

But food was great as well as the service too!! 128077

We went to Big Better Burgers thinking that its gonna be good. Well not quite. Is it big? Yes. Is it better? Well thats debatable. We all ordered something different. One vwanted some pancakes which is kinda weird for a burger joint to serve. Another one wanted burger steak with rice. And I got their usual cheeseburger with a side of fries and coke. Overall, it was alright. The burger itself was a little too dry and bland. It could use some seasoning. The cheese however helped with that problem.

I thought I would go loco over their mushroom loco. But it was a let down. The bun was soft but the patty was dry and it was smaller than my idea of 1/4lbs would look like.

My nephew insisted that we should try Big Better Burger since it is affordable and equally taste like Brothers Burger. We arrived early for lunch so at 11 am we find the small place empty. True enough it is comparable to brothers burger on a cheaper side. Maybe because it is cooked the same way manner... Flamed grilled. Still i love Brothers Lamb burger though.

I used to love this place until recently because of their juicy burgers in a very affordable price. I dined in recently to have a quick bite because we were craving for good burgers and this joint was our top choice. Our recent visit was a bit unsatisfactory because we noticed that the burger was reduced in size and looked sad by its presentation. I hope this is just a one time encounter. We'll keep coming back for their yummy burgers. 128521

Nothing special, really. To be honest, their 1/4 lbs. burger doesn't look like 1/4 lbs. Mcdo's Quarter Pounder seems bigger. 128586

I also asked the server not to put any onions on my BBQ Bacon burger and he took note of this. May nakasulat pa nga na no onions dun sa wrapper. But upon opening, lo and behold! Onions!!! Haha. Kinda disappointing. 128547

Not really a resto I would visit again and again but I wouldn't put it on my never-visit-again list. 128513

Bacon and bleu cheese burger was okay. Didn't really taste the bleu cheese but at least the patty was tender and I like how the bun was pandesal-ish. Plus points to their cashier lady who told me my hair's nice. 128513 Hehe. Kinda found it weird at first but maybe she was just really being honest. Hehehe!!

It's true that they have one of the best burgers in town! The Hahalapeño burger! 127828 It's ordinary looking burger but when you get to taste every bit of it, ahhhhhh heaven! It literally melts in your mouth especially the cheese. I dont know how they do it because it's really different, and different is good.

Barbecue Bacon Burger was also one of our orders and it was juicy but I cant taste the bacon because it was small, I guess. We had Meatballs in Wild Mushroom and it was so-so, meatballs tasted good tho. Fries for side dish with onion sauce. Their sauce has a separate price 20+ and I felt that it was just wrong but I commend their onion sauce because it was really good and I would order that one alone next time. Hahaha

My sister had to do a project for her operations class, and she needed to eat at several BBB branches over the weekend. The ones at Wilcon Center and SM North Edsa were her last stops, so we came along to help her out and try different things.

The potato wedges with cheese were okay. They tasted similar to twister fries (except thicker, and straight), and came with a shot glass filled with cheese (which tasted more like mayo actually). If you're gonna order these, best to forego the cheese, and use good old-fashioned ketchup.

My mom and I shared a Salpicao Burger Steak, which is a 1/4 lb patty served on a sizzling plate with salpicao sauce and garlic rice. We found the sauce too salty, and felt like some parts of the meat were a bit burnt.

I would actually recommend ordering the Bistro Steak instead (this is what my sister had). This is almost the same thing, but instead of salpicao sauce, they use a special house sauce that matches better with the burger.

Finally, my favorite at BBB is the Hahalapeño burger, which is a 1/4 lb burger with salsa, tomatoes, onions and jalapeños. It's a bit sweetish, but with a tangy, spicy kick.

Overall, I'd say they are bigger and better than some other popular fast-food type burger branches out there, but still have some room to grow and improve. I would come back for my usual orders, like the jalapeño burger, and maybe have to think about trying other new stuff.

Additionally, at this branch, for every 150 peso purchase, they give you a free large iced tea!

Tried their bacon blue cheese burger. It was good! The patty was juicy and the seasonings and sauce were tasty. the price was a lil bit steep but the free large iced tea for every 150 peso purchase made up for it. Will be dining here again soon! :)
