If you love Korean like I do, Ortigas center offers a lot of options for you. The area has the highest density of Koreans and here there are many Korean establishments, not just food.

Big Stone Grill is all about Korean barbecue and they do it with passion. The grills are significantly spacious than others and they give value with great portions at an affordable price. For less than Php 800 you can have two meats (pork + beef) that comes with a ton of free appetizers. The boiled egg custard is part of the complimentary and that alone is worth the visit.

The meats are marinated well and it does make great impression even without additional gouchang sauce or honey. I also like the fact that they tilt it to take out most of its oil. A healthier way is always welcome, right?

Been craving for Korean food and this place did not disappoint. We ordered Chobeolgalbi (350PHp) and Saeng Samgyeopsa (380PHp). We thought it will be a light meal but oh boy we were surprised on the number of sides it included. It had grilled veggies, fresh veggies to wrap the meat in, 2 kinds of soup and the regular sides (like kimichi, sweet potato, etc) which you can get 3 times refill.

Not bad for the price!

My favorite samgyeopsal I love it with perilla leaves... The place was ok price is fair... Yummy and the male owner was kind he will teach you how to eat their food a proper way if he notice that you don't know how! (That's cool right)
Lots of Korean who's alcoholic though haha! This place is not accepting credit cards so make sure your cash is on hand! K pop is playing on screen...

No photo because I had to transfer all my pictures in my photo roll to my computer. :(

Had dinner with my girl friends here last month. We weren't really planning to go to Metro Walk that night, but Galle's closing na and our friend wasn't with us yet. So, we walked from Galle to Metrowalk. She wanted Korean, so, we chose this restaurant.

The place is actually nice plus they were playing KPop music videos when we went there, so it kind of adds to the Korean vibe. Haha! Plus, the place is cold, helps with the icky weather thing.

It's been too long, so I don't really remember what we ordered. I remember eating spicy octopus/squid and braised pork, though. These dishes are recommended for they are really delicious! I love the spicy octopus because the meat wasn't gummy. The flavors were spot on, even if there's a really spicy after taste. Although, you can ask the server to tell the cook to lessen the heat and the spicyness of the dish. The servers were lovely, too! :)

Will definitely go back to this restaurant soon! :)
