They say that a trip to the Bicol region wouldn't be complete without trying out Bigg's Diner. After hearing mass at the Peñafrancia Basilica Minore, we proceeded at the nearby Bigg's Diner. We thought at first that the place was jampacked since the queue at the counter was really long. However, upon checking out the place there were still seats that can accommodate us all.

Bigg's Diner is an American inspired restaurant which is reminiscent of a 1960's diner. There were displays of old telephones, picture frames and even a jukebox near the comfort room which were artifacts from way way back.

As for the food, most of us ordered their rice meals (Beef Tapa, Fish Creole, Daing na Bangus). Their meals were served in very big plates which makes your order tiny. Nothing special about their Beef Tapa (which was my order) but my mama really liked their Fish Creole while my uncle really loved their Goto (to which he commended the waiter because for him it was really good).

Restaurant's got this 80's feel as evident on the wall designs and furnishings. Love their food, too! 128523 It's a must-visit place when in Naga City!

This place has been claimed as serving the best iced tea in the world by my Mother-in-law. And i sure cannot disagree. Hahaha

On a serious note, being an iced tea lover myself - i really would say it is one of my favorites - the slight hint of fresh calamansi works really well. And i think they make use of a special kind of syrup as sweetener. A must try!!

Super nice interior. Food was amazing as well. Love their tenderloin tips, beef salpicao and reuben burger! I also love their milkshakes! Will definitely go back there every time we go to Bicol.

Cordon bleu has always been one of the signature dishes of Bigg's however lately it's been dry :( yet I still love the taste and it might be just a lapse in the cooking procedure.

Also, in this branch presentation is different from other branches. I find it less appealing. The veggie side placed in stainless canister also doesn't look good :( It's not befitting a casual dining concept that this branch strived to be.

After a 500,000-year soujorn, arrived safe in Naga. Few km from the city, their Billboard ads caught my attention. Apparently, this diner is only available in Bicol Region.

I enjoyed their buffalo wings, loved the degree
Of spicyness! The strawberry yoghurt shake was good too considering its price for P69.

The P80 bacon cheesburger was not impressive, it tasted like burger machine or way lower than it. I guess you get what you pay for.

Verdict, not bad! The prices are really cheap, so, I wouldn't mind trying their other offers. Flies swarm this place tho, I hated it!

I'd def go back to buy that strawberry yoghurt shake again!

You will love this place for the iced tea. Enough said. It's what keeps people coming back for more.

Their iced tea is brewed from real tea bags mixed with organic sugar and blended with just the right amount of lemon. It's a blend of sweet and citrusy that's just about right.

If you're going to visit Naga City you SHOULD at least dine at the Bigg's Diner. It's the earliest fast food restaurant there if I'm not mistaken and I love how vintage the place is! I ordered their Tapa and Hot Chocolate. The tapa was awesome. Just the right taste! What I love is their Hot Chocolate, every sip will remind you of the fresh air in the barrios. Will surely go back when I visit Naga City again.

After almost 2 hour van ride from Cam North we reached Naga City to book a ticket going to Manila. But unfortunately all schedule for all the bus lines on that date were all fully booked . It was an unexpected, since my friends and I are all so ready going home.128513 But anyway, we can't do anything about it anymore so we booked for a hotel and decide where to eat our very first breakfast -lunch-dinner food all in on that day. We are about to go to Oyster Villa but since we could not find it and we passed by Biggs we just decided to settle for it since we are all exhausted and starving. The place was nice. Like a Johnny Rockets kind of feel resto. I ordered beef salpicao the taste wAs ok but what really stunned me is there carrot+another fruit shake (sorry I forgot what it was) I thought it would taste mapakla because of carrots but no tasted like ice cream.. Would I go back here? Probably. 128516

Its a bit Unusual to have laing for breakfast, but in Bicol, it happens :) i added sunny side up just to remind me I'm eating breakfast. The Laing is good, the breaded pork is too salty. But its cheap and filling, how can i complain? It comes with coffee too, so worth the Try :) the place has an inspiring history too. Such a local jewel in bicol :)

Biggs is Bicol's version of Jollibee. Diverse choices of fast food though. I always order Chicken Cajun. Spicy and crunchy just the way I like!

The place was so retro! They have old telephones and tlrs as displays. They even have a working jukebox which makes me feel like I am in a legit diner.

The food was good, I ordered the carbonara with pizza bread which only costs 99php! Oha! Pwedeng pwede na! The serving was good enough to fill my tummy :)

Biggs Diner can only be found in Bicol :)

One of Naga's famous food chain. 128516

Food servings are huge since they serve american dishes.
Fries, burgers, steaks, fried chicken, pasta, etc.

Food tastes ok and the price is affordable. Nothing special. There are even more better food chain than Bigg's.
