Had an amazing experience in this Japanese Beauty Hot Pot at Bijin Nabe by Tsukada Nojo in S Maison

Here are the dishes that we tried:

Maximum Fried Eggplant. Fried eggplants seasoned with "maximum" spice and sweet chili. It has a very soft "Fuwa-Fuwa" texture. I'm not a fan of eggplant but this one had a good fluffy feel and less of that vegetable texture which made me enjoy it.

Chicken Nanban (Original). This is a traditional dish in Miyazaki. Served with homemade tartar sauce.

Nikumaki Onigiri. A popular rice ball in Japan. Nikumaki Onigiri is a bite-sized rice ball wrapped in special pork belly strips and baked with hand-crafted soy sauce until it achieves the perfect texture and golden brown color. This is a well-loved staple in Japan.

The Bijin Nabe

The Bijin Nabe is a combination of the freshest vegetables, seafood, and chicken cooked in Golden Jidori Chicken Stock. This includes baby sweet potato leaves, baby corn, lady's finger, deep-fried tofu, zucchini, fresh black fungus, tori tsukene, chicken, prawn, red radish, and sunflower sprout.

The stock is stewed for more than 8 hours until the chicken bones are fully dissolved. Eventually, chicken stock turns into a smooth and silky collagen pudding. They only use the best quality golden collagen chicken stock that is regularly transported from their farm in Japan, ensuring that their collagen will be the key to your beautiful skin and health.

Collagen is believed to have health and beauty benefits because this type of protein is the one responsible for our skin's elasticity, which reduces fine lines and wrinkles. It can also make your skin look flawless and have that radiant "glow."

Having the Bijin Nabe is like a hot pot course meal. First, the collagen will be heated up so that it will turn into soup. Experience the rich flavor of the golden collagen before any of the vegetables are added. Then, try out how the flavors change when vegetables and noodles are added. The last part would be when prawns are added. My favorite is the pure collagen and the last part with the flavor of the prawns.

Tsukada Nojo specializes in Bijin Nabe (Php 750 per portion, which is already good for two people) This broth is stewed for over eight hours, until even the chicken bones are fully dissolved, creating a chicken stock that looks almost like a smooth chicken jelly, which is rich in collagen.

The Bijin Nabe comes with a combination of assorted vegetables, (such as radish, cucumber, mushroom, and corn) seafood, and you guessed it, more chicken! 128020128020128020

Admittedly, I am not the biggest fan of soup, so I was initially hesitant to try this. But WOW! I was immediately hooked after having tasted just a spoonful. The soup is so flavorful without being too salty, and one portion will be leave you wanting more. Needless to say, I will definitely be back for this liquid gold 128077🏻128077🏻128077🏻

Looking for something delicious yet healthy dish? Why not try Bijin Nabe by Tsukada Nojo?

It's a Japanese beauty hotpot restaurant.. and why is it called a beauty hotpot?? Because the stock of Bijin Nabe is made up of "collagen" (for beautiful skin and good health) extracted from Jidori golden chicken from Japan. The soup taste malinamnam even without adding any ingredients.

The server will be in charge of putting the step by step ingredients. Soup differs in taste as you add in additional ingredients. The first step is to put in the vegetables- red raddish, okra, zucchini, sunflower sprout, baby sweet potato leaves, lettuce, then the deep fried tofu, enoki mushroom, baby corn, black fungus then the chicken and tori tsukune. After eating everything, the server will add in the prawns and lastly the noodles.

You can also try their other dishes like:
Chicken Nanban P295-original & P315- spicy...
It's like fried chicken nuggets
Nikumaki P105/pc- original & P115- cheese, yuzu-
mayo, spicy... It's a rice roll that's wrapped in
bacon
Roasted Chicken Fillet P225 ...it's like chicken terryaki

Something worth trying... 128077🏻128525127858

One must try this even once in their life, the bijin nabe, a collagen based soup made from jidori chicken whatever that means. You choose your kind of noodles and a bowl of veggies and stuff to place in the boiling soup and slurp to your hearts delight. We also got this chicken meal and a prawn fried rice too and egg pudding for dessert. One deliciously good meal.

not much pic because i did enjoyed the food! 128557
their best seller must try is the bijin nabe (but actually you should take the bijin nabe (700php per portion/pax) before you'll be able to try other menu choices, yeah.. must try (forcefully? hmmm..)
this is quite interesting since it's composed of the chicken collagen, shrimp, chicken and different variety of veggies, definitely a healthy choice!
anyway, it's quite expensive but it's good. if they'll just make the bijin nabe's price more lower, maybe i'll be happy to dine here again 128517

It's no secret that I love soup. That's why I've been eagerly anticipating Tsukada Nojo's opening since they put up their large Poster on their site at S Maison. Kagutom eh 128525

Bijin Nabe is priced at P750 per portion and can be shared by 2 persons. Serving size is half of what's seen in the menu picture. So instead of four Shrimps there's just 2, etc..

Their Signature Golden Collagen Chicken Soup is love! Very rich chicken stock much like our Local Tinola (but waaaay thicker and richer) cooked for a very long period of time that most of the cartilage and bones of the chicken turn to liquid into what is known as Collagen. Pretty much the same process with making Ramen! 128525

The original way of indulging in their Bijin Nabe is by ladling some on the small cups that looked like Japanese Shot Glasses and shoot it straight and stock. Yum!

Adding the different hotpot ingredients changes the soup's taste profile so much so that the server suggested to drop shrimps at the last stage because it will change the taste of the stock from chicken to seafood. Towards the end, the soup was turning more and more into Ramen level flavors which I liked! Blanched the noodles that were included in the set and I turned it into Bijin-Men! 128513

Their other specialty is the Nikumaki Onigiri, otherwise known as Rice Balls wrapped in succulent pork belly. 128525 It comes in four flavors or should I call toppings? Because the rice inside are the same on all four apart from the topping or drizzle. I'd suggest the Yuzu-Mayo and the Spicy for variation. The Original also goes well with the Bijin Nabe, consider the Onigiri as the carbs that will go with the soup. 128522

For dessert we tried the Egg Pudding which was served like a souffle with thick torched sugar glaze. Just plain egg pudding though, nothing to expect further.

Collagen in soup form is so inviting, especially to us women who are all about the latest beauty craze!

Each serving of their beauty hot pot (w/ collagen soup, young corn, okra, shrimps, tofu skin, chicken meatballs, enoki mushrooms, and chicken) serves 2 and costs 750 per order. There were 8 of us so we had 4 orders.

Within minutes the collagen from chicken bones (looks like tofu) melts and turns into a thick soup which is then served to you before they put in the enoki mushrooms and vegetables so you know what it tastes like without all the other mix ins. It tastes good and rich in chicken flavor. The soup's taste keeps changing each time you put in something. It gets sweeter when all the vegetables are in it.

I liked it but I decided it was too thick and felt like there was msg in it because after the whole meal, I got really thirsty and wanted ice cream to wash it all out! But if it's gonna give me good skin, hmmm...

We had their chicken wings, tasted good reminded me of sour cream flavor, the mushroom and chicken nanbans were all good as well. But one serving is enough, you will get umay!

We also had their caesar salad, which was peppery for me.

Their fried rice I didnt like. Too much fried dishes, not a fan!

The best part of the meal were the onigiris! Rice balls were wrapped in bacon and lettuce. They cost around 100 each. So good!!!! I didnt quite catch the name even if I was the one who ordered because we ordered a LOT. But those would be my recommendations.

First serving of our water tasted like gripo but we reported it to them right away and they replaced our water with a better batch naman. Service is impeccable.

Btw you cant take home the soup because it spoils easily. Had two orders of everything because serving is small according to their staff din, ended up with total bill of 11k for 8 people.

Mazendo is just a one time thing, the soup is too thick on the mouth. The onigiris are great.

Tried this newly opened ( 2nd ) day of doing business. They recommend the following :

Golden collagen chicken soup, a hot pot style cooking, chicken stock derived from boiling chicken bones for more than 8 hours, the result is a creamy, sticky soup base because of the collagen extracted from the chicken bones, cartilages. Add to this soup base are different vegetables, green leafy vegies, golden mushrooms, black fungus, ocra, raddish, tofu skins, then generous chunks of chicken meat, prawns, and chicken meat balls are added to the boiling soup. The product is a very tasty, rejuvinating soup.

Onigiri original flavor rice balls, this will provide your obligatory carbohydrate source in a balanced meal, the rice balls are big, very delicious, has to be eaten with the romaine lettuce provided. By itsefl the rice balls are tasty already, but you can lightly dip it in their own secret soy sauce.

The Miyazaki specialty namban chicken are deep fried marinated chicken pieces, topped with their secret tartar sauce, chicken are tender, juicy, and very flavorful, this order come with portion of fresh green salad.

The dip, four different kinds, the greenish color is made from pomelo, spice and salt, paired best with the boiled chicken from the soup. The oily, whitish dip is called leeks in oil, paired best with vegetable. The oily reddish dip is spicy and contains sambal, goes well as general dip. House blend soy sauce, not too salty, taste like a light soy sauce for general use
