Such a fun place for the barkada, the family or your colleagues.

It's a sports compound/plaza for those who are actively seeking for the adrenaline or the fun of it.

There's a fitness gym (PHP80), swimming pool (I think at PHP100-200), Volleyball (PHP150 per hour I think), Billiards, KTV (PHP250 for an hour I think), Bowling (PHP100-150 an hour also I think), Badminton (PHP100-150), and Zumba.

Super sulit! Everything's affordable and you'll come out really really really sweaty!

127923127946 My second review of this government-run establishment here in my town. Small pools, but that's understandable as BRCC is not a resort.

Although I have been there before, it was my first time to go "swimming" (actually nagbabad lang ako haha) and bowling. I enjoyed the latter more though. We tried the ten-pin. Ang saya lang. Muntik pa ako maka-strike! He he.

1. We residents in Binangonan are lucky to have this decent publicly-funded sports/leisure/conference center. It's on Manila East Road (or Binangonan hi-way), located in a quiet area where it has no other establishments near or across it, just trees and plants and the hills. Perfect!

2. For a public building, we are impressed how well-equipped BRCC is. The bowling center has ten-pin and duckpin variations, is equipped with flat-screen monitors and also comfortably airconditioned. Also inside the bowling center are billiard tables and table tennis tables (haha what else?), a cafe, a Chinese restaurant and a couple of food stalls, as well as nice restrooms.

3. Other amenities:
▫Two swimming pools (no, not Olympic sized pools for practice or competition, just the usual pools for swimming pleasure), with a handful of cabanas
▫A covered multi-purpose gymnasium with badminton, volleyball and basketball courts
▫Open tennis court
▫Fully-equipped gym for working out
▫Restobar

4. As you might expect from a public venue, the fees are affordable. For instance, the fee for the gym is only P80, and you can spend there working out as long as you wish during the day (tambay sa gym, in other words haha) For the badminton court, it's P100 or P150 per hour depending on your preference to play with the lights on or off (during the daytime the court is brightly lit with natural light coming from the windows). You have to bring your own gear, though.

5. There are also zumba sessions. Scheduling may be varied.

6. One lesson we learned from BRCC: make a reservation in advance! One Sunday morning my friend and I decided to play badminton but the receptionist told us someone else was using the court at that hour because they made a reservation. So we decided to hit the gym instead to burn off our fats haha.

7. It operates daily, and is open until 12 am (unless BRCC is undergoing some maintenance which it announces on its Facebook page).

8. Spacious parking.

Peaceful, laid back, provincial atmosphere. Rizal residents may not need to go far to hit at some high-priced gym in the noisy, polluted Manila. It is because there is decent place here to play, work out and relax in relative peace. BRCC is also accessible from Manila by a 1 or 2-hour jeepney ride.
