Hi followers long time no see
Not that I've been away I've just been too bloody lazy to post anything here
But now I'm back

This restaurant surprised
It's pretty damn good
Very French
Fresh ingredients
Nicely presented
Service was charming

Not the cheapest / far from the most expensive

I will definitely be back
The coq au vin recommend highly

There are two ways to look at this place. If you've been to Paris, you'll find that this is a decent approximation of the street cafes there. We had the confit du canard, steak frites and foie gras in cranberry and shallots. All good - the confit was particularly good; tender with the right amount of saltiness

If you've never been to Paris, you'll be none the wiser and still think this is a good restaurant. Worth visiting and worth coming back too.

This Le Poulet Roti is a winner! The chicken was so tender but not mushy. And the best part of it was the mushrooms - it was definitely the star of the dish! It outshone the chicken albeit unintentionally I'm sure hehe

At 1k for a quarter leg.... I felt robbed ... Dubbed as house special ... Skin is crisp , meat can be more tender... Oily as expected... Just no WOW factor
D&B still hv my vote for best duck confit in the metro

I always get excited when a restaurant opens in Rockwell center because of its convenience, but this bistro is a waste of space on prime property. The waiters were not educated on their menu, wine list. :( they do not accommodate any vegetarian request and have no veg dish for main course. I can make a better looking salad with walnuts and blue cheese. The grand marinier soufflé that was blogged about was so eggy. The onion soup tasted sweet and burned. Nothing worth coming back for.

The place looked like it was airlifted from Paris and brought to Manila.

Try the parmesan soup, escargot on bone marrow, pan seared grouper with crustacean butter and the creamy mashed potato. Had those for lunch earlier and loved every little bit.
