Who says sweets have to be sinful? The jolie from Bizu is not. It is a flourless and sugar free kahlua mouse cake with hazelnuts and chilbout cream. Perfect with latte on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Yummy!

This Truffle Conchiglie is just delicious!! Even better when paired with their very crunchy garlic bread.. 128525 I would have given them 5 stars for this alone. However, our other order was not so great. Got the Croque Madam and it was too salty..

For dessert, we got the Strawberry Shortcake. It's good - not too sweet.

And.. We got 3 of their Macarons de Paris for FREE! Thanks to their promo with BDO credit card. 9786

Benito's day out with grandma and we ended up having a snack at this place. Haven't been to any Bizu in over a year and was very pleased with the service (child-friendly wait staff) and the food.

Benito loved the shrimp gnocchi!!! Yum. Like Korean sticky rice except better and tastier! I had the Waldorf salad which could feed 2-3 people, actually. Very refreshing but I wanted more salt... Was missing cheese on the salad... Maybe some feta or gruyere would've killed the "umay" because it had honey-orange dressing. Yum, but if you have too much, umay factor comes into play. So, I salted mine and added freshly ground pepper (which were both in very cute pink wooden shakers!).

We also tried the baked truffle mushroom rice... Ooh, yummy and rich in taste! A must try. Thought at first that, looking at the size of the plate, the price was too much for it (a little over Php300) but I realized, after having a few spoonfuls, that it was so rich and heavy, the plate is meant to be shared. Couldn't finish even half of it...!

All three dishes were shared between my mom, myself and my son (2-year-old but voracious eater). Bill was under a grand including taxes. Not bad for the quality and size of serving and the service.

It was a great way to end our afternoon walking around Robinsons Magnolia. :)

I'm one avid macaron fan but their pistachio macaron has gone bland! 128529 Their summer offering is great tasting as well as their basic coffee and vanilla macaron. 127872

Am probably one of the few girls, who couldn't get why everyone's going gaga over macarons 128541 however, Bizu has always been a favorite and i passed by today and saw their macaron day special. So i bought caramel and got their summer edition-piña colada for free! It's good! The saying is true; nothing tastes better than free ones 128516

2nd time's a charm for Bizu's truffle salad!!!

I've been craving for this especially now that 2nd sem is done!! So i just rewarded myself with this!! 128525

The flavor is so intense and bowl is overflowing with toppings like egg, cherry tomatoes, LOTS OF MUSHROOMS and asparagus!!

You'll really taste the truffle flavor and watch out cuz you'll really burp out that truffle taste! 9786

I've been wanting to try Bizu's pastries, and I finally did!

MANGO CHIBOUST (195 Php)
The mangoes are so sweet that I fell in love with this cake at first bite! The cheesecake was also superb! What I didn't like about it is that it's somewhat "tabingi" so the presentation was a bit of a turn off. Huhuhu. But still, great cake. Waaah! Writing this makes me want some moooore!

CARAMEL WITH FLEUR DE SEL MACARON (55 Php)
This was the second macaron I've had in the whole of my existence, and I don't think I'll still be interested in other macarons. BIZU'S MACARONS WERE SO CHEWY (Unlike Chez Karine's hollow ones)! I fell in love with this too...

ITALIAN PISTACHIO MACARON (55 Php)
... though I loved this flavor more! It tastes like ice cream and it's milky and creamy and delish that I can't find a right word for its excellence.

MADAGASCAR VANILLA MACARON (55 Php)
This was okay, I actually forgot how it tastes. Hehe!

Service was great and the ambience was excellent! I'd definitely come back for moooore (Italian Pistachio macarons)! Hehe 128154

Could I resist? Of course not. The call of macarons will always win over my good senses.

As usual, earl grey macaron. The one they had for me was slightly over baked. The cookie was crumbly, but the taste was still good. Also tried their hazelnut and white truffle macaron. It was less sweet than any dessert macaron I've ever had, but it was good. The truffle taste wasn't too overpowering, and the hazelnut cookie was well baked, with a good texture. Something I should try if I can get my hands on raw hazelnuts.

Long before the current macarons "craze," I was already a certified macaron lover and one of the first places (if not the first) that served them was Bizu. As always, I wanted something sweet after dinner, and like the past 2 weekends, macarons was my dessert of choice. I chose 8 flavors : Chocolate, Pistachio, Raspberry, Espresso, Caramel with Sea Salt, Dulce de Leche and two more whose flavors escape me. Pistachio was good and apparently their best seller. I also had the Caramel with Sea Salt which was ok but I like the version of Fleur de Lys better.

Just curious...:) Not a fan of sweets and desserts...:p The place looks very charming though...:) A little pricey... I'd rather get cronuts than macaroons...:p
