After our meeting in Bulacan, we had to brave edsa and rush back to Makati...

Kudos to our ka-meeting who came in 2hrs late than scheduled...we arrived in Makati around 120pm...way past my lunch time

Bizu seemed to be the right choice and just ordered some easy to prepare meals.

I had the beef bolognese pasta and fresh lemonade.

Service was good, we were given house water and complimentary bread/butter.

Beef bolognese seemed to have passed thru my mouth and directly into my stomach w/o passing my intestines...

Di ko nalasahan as in super gutom na ko hahaha

Literal na laman tyan!

I am loving Bizu's take on the Crabcake Egg Bennie. This dish, called Crabcake Breakfast, is offered as part of their new breakfast menu.

I have an immense fondness for good Eggs Benedict. Much more so, I have been on a look out for local establishments that offer Crabcakes Bennies. Unfortunately, only a very few local establishments offer these Bennie specialties.

Prior to coming across Bizu's new dish, there is a fave place of mine at the Tuscany Estates called Main Street, that offers such dish. The catch, they only offered it on weekend breakfast.

It was quite by accident that I happily came across Bizu's. After all, it's been sometime since I've last visited them for breakfast. One of my fave default breakfast option was their traditional Eggs Benedict.

Bizu's Crabcake Breakfast is one of the new dishes added to their current menu. It is a complete set meal altogether. The Patty dish came with a side green salad, brewed coffee, mixed fresh fruit salad, and breadbasket with jam and herbed butter-- served in a wooden breakfast tray.

Bizu's take was a "breadless" Bennie. The Crabcake was plated on a slice of grilled tomato, topped with a poached egg, drizzled with hollandaise sauce, and further topped with a lightly dressed chiffonade greens.

I loved the fried seafood patty which was nicely coated with a lightly crunchy breadcrumb crust and wasn't oily at all. The crab meat, deliciously seasoned and tasted fresh and sweet. A light starchy yet smooth binder was used to hold the patty together (I'm guessing mashed potatoes). Lovely with the sweet grilled tomato slice, the perfectly poached runny/gooey egg, the yummy citrusy /buttery hollandaise sauce. The chiffonade greens added a nice bite to the layered dish.

Albeit the absence of a traditional English muffin base, the complimentary bread basket with warmed ciabatta slices made excellent pairing with the dish. Moreso with the herbed whipped butter and jam.

The side mixed green salad tossed in raspberry vinaigrette with candied walnut bits plus the fresh fruit salad in light syrup made the set meat quite filling. Not bad for Php 375.

Highly recommended to foodies who enjoy Bennie dishes or for those who want a twist to this usual egg breakfast dish.

Still from moms friend when she visited ... Lol... Think she went all over the metro to bring me all these ... Such a sweet lady 128522.. And I'm the lucky eater

Opera is a french version of the Italian tiramisu, topped with semi sweet chocolate , so creamy I had to take my time enjoying each bite to savor the luscious creamy chocolate flavors .

Bizu Patisserie cakes are not inexpensive I know. But, like I often say, when the quality justifies the price, I don’t mind paying premium. And Bizu cakes are definitely worth their price tags. Specially when I'm not paying ... Hehe 128521

Went inside craving for their eggs benedict! But when I saw that it was 50% off for all their entrées (for one rockwell residents and law students) I just couldnt resist not buying one. I am such a sucker for promos!

Got their Chicken Cordon Bleu. For some strange reason I wasn't so fond of the cheese they used. Couldn't tell what cheese it was though. Good thing the chicken breast was yummy and well seasoned! It came on top of mushroom carbonara that had some bits of cured ham on it. The ham really popped out as it was packed with flavor. The white sauce was good too. 128525

Sooo tempted to get a macaron but I was too full after my food. 128542 Next time nalang 128514

Actually have only been here once for "just desserts" their cakes are indeed heavenly! 128525But me and mum do make sure to drop by to buy their ciabatta which goes really good with left over ham during the Christmas season. But my uncle recently came back from Europe bringing home some good gouda cheese which I do use for grilled cheese and some prosciutto which made me drop by here to buy a bag of this good flat bread!

Had to have my old love, Samba, pre-Valentine's day. It was ahhhmazing!

Only complaint about this experience was the service water they gave us. It smelled like something I can't describe. You know that time you put durian inside your ref and the whole ref's laman tastes like durian? THAT one. Only I have no idea what the water tasted like.

Bizu was packed! Probably because everybody's cramming for gifts on V-day:)

I was pleasantly surprised with the savory dishes of Bizu. I wasn't expecting it to be good but it was delicious. Although some might find it too creamy or rich, I personally liked them! Sad to say I can't say the same for their desserts - they're not bad but not something I would come back for.

Can I give more than five stars?

I will never forget all my Bizu experience. 128156

It was my brother's wedding and they hired the Bizu Catering Services. I just can imagine people going crazy about the buffet tables in each corner.

But for us, we were served the lauriat style. It felt like plates came unendingly and all sorts of food were laid in the table. But I was raving for the desserts. I just wanted to stand in front of the dessert section and indulge myself unapologetically. Well I could do that 128587128523

The same experience happened during my sister-in-law's bachelorette party. I was dressed like a princess but I ate them sweet treats like a prince. 128514 I can't be blamed, they were just too good to be ignored.

Now I'm thinking of working at Bizu, so I could sneak in the fridge whenever no one's looking. I am too in love with sweets 128064128061127849127856127851127850
