Well known for desserts, but the main dishes were pretty good too.

This branch is bright, spacious and quiet, with a good wi-fi connection.

I like that they serve complimentary bread while you wait for your food.

Truffle Conchiglie (in photo)
- The intensity of the truffle flavor is just right. Sausages a bit salty, but overall a nice filling meal.

Bizú is becoming more and more of a comfort food place for us by consistently serving great food through the years; a go-to place when deciding where to eat becomes a paradox only Stephen Hawking and a 50-foot long blackboard can answer.

Pictured above is their Vegetarian Ravioli and their better-than-Laduree macarones (yes, someone gifted us with Ladurees in the past). Red pasta dishes, in my book, should be RED: chunky, solid, sour bits of tomato. Pasta cooked just right and cooked WITH the sauce and not just slopped over before serving it to the unsuspecting diner.

Bizú is one of the few (really few) who gets this right. A deep bow of gratitude to this resto.

First time to have lunch in Bizu since I've always thought they only had cakes and pastries. Boy was I wrong.

I got to taste the following on their menu:

1. Ravioli - heavily stuffed with spinach but I suggest they add more sauce to it as it was too dry

2. Duck confit - good fry to the duck, very tasty. Very bland mojos for sides, maybe they forgot the salt. Different side salad with raspberry dressing which was surprisingly good. It kind of refreshed my palate from eating all that duck.

And for dessert, we got the mango soliel and the cream puff. Mango soliel was the bomd, but the fresh mangoes on top were sour 128557 while their version of cream puff was ice cream inside... Sadly, I still prefer your regular cream puff.

Overall I would still say this was a good visit and I would definitely come back next time.

Fresh Mango Chiboust

The Luscious fresh mangoes is like a crown on top of a French-style cheesecake. The cheesecake is not too sweet, texture was great so it's perfectly match with the sweet fresh mangoes!!

Only P195 per cake

The Nirvana is a dome, mousse cake covered with dark chocolate ganache' and pistachio paste at its core. Just like any other mousse cake that we know, this cake is best eaten cold (though it still tastes great at room temperature). What I admire the most about this, aside from the smooth, velvety mousse is its rich chocolate flavor that lingers in your mouth at every bite. I also cannot help not to love how the pistachios, especially the paste at the center, adds a nutty depth of flavor to the cake. It gives the cake a certain twist that makes it different from the others. Hurray for Nirvana!!! 128079🏻128079🏻128079🏻

I dont know why I'm fond of sweets nowadays, I think its because its summer and I cant get enough of immeasurable joy I experience indulging myself with it. It's something where my heart lies.127856127848128540

Before I begin, let me note that the place is really comfortably inviting and fancy at the same time. It exudes a relaxing ambiance from the light purple and pink color scheme and patterns. In a way, it would seem like you are inside a doll house when you try to observe and internalize the surroundings.

To start with our yummy lunch!!

Grand Filipino breakfast (485) good for sharing 128522 With 2 sunny side up egg, Beef tapa, Longganisa and daing na Bangus with tomatoes and garlic rice - just an ordinary breakfast..not so so..

Linguine with Shrimps (295) Sauteed shrimps, pomodoro sauce, linguine pasta and basil chiffonade - 128522128077🏻

And Finally It's Dessert Time!!!

Nirvana (235) A blend of caramel chocolate mousse and pistachio cream on a bed of crisp choclate crunch and choclate cake covered with Bizu's homemade choclate brilliant sauce. It was moist, creamy on the top and a little firm on the bottom (which I found suitable). Also, the chocolate softly brushes on the taste buds which gave a subtle figurative ticklish sensation. Lastly, this chocolate cake dessert was not too sweet, and had a little pistachio cream in the center as a surprise! I think among the three, this is the winner, and my older brother was on my side with this.

Fresh Mango Chiboust! (195) mango-topped French-style cheesecake. I love the artistry in the flower-like arrangement of the mango slices. The mango slices are as sweet as they would be if it were summer, but the cheesecake was lovely. - two thumbs up 128522128077🏻128077🏻

To sum things up, I would say that my sweet tooth experience had much so worthy.

This place is inviting, and makes us decide quickly to dine for lunch. It has bright lightings, exuding a comfortable ambiance and its fancy at the same time. I've known this place for its dessert ( esp for pastries and macaroons!) We ordered lunch before anything else. We had:

Grand Filipino Breakfast (P485) served with 1 garlic rice, 2 well done fried eggs, half bangus, tapa, 2 longganisa, and tomatoes with pesto topped by white cheese. you can never go wrong with breakfast meal, though nothing spectacular at all.

Linguine with Shrimps (P295) sauteed shrimps, Pomodoro Sauce,Linguine Pasta, and Basil Chiffonade- this comes with buttered bread. Its ok for me, same with other pomodoro sauce I had before.

2 orders were shared with my 2 lunch mates. And we felt full for this two dishes. Both are ok but nothing new to our taste. The blended Iced Tea (P85) is ok, but I preferred brewed iced tea that I usually have.

And the most awaited part, the dessert! We had 2 small cakes:
Fresh Mango Chiboust (P195) i love this one! Not only its appearance but the refreshing taste of sweet mango on top. The cake is creamy that complements with the mango.

Nirvana (P235) the smoothness of the appearance make me want to just stare at it. But of course not! we have to taste it. The chocolate is not that sweet, the cake is moistful, plus pistachio cream at the center of the cake is a surprise! (I thought its matcha!!)

I had Cafe americano (P85) along my dessert. I love the blend served, a kind that I was looking for these past few days, its a 2 thumbs up.

Bizu has nice dining place plus superb service. A good place to dine with friends.
But, I prefer this place for dessert. Place is quite pricey

I would have loved to try their desserts but that time I have not eaten lunch. I think I ordered too much and looking at the picture looks like it's for 2 persons. Great food and very accomodating staffs. I was even surprise how fast they served my orders. I'll try their desserts next time.
