So here the menu is placed in a blackboard. The point is to provide new items on a regular basis. 2 of 3 of what we had should be changed.

What’s good was their pork belly. It was served In two huge long portions. It had a nice sweet and salty taste that stays for awhile. What’s not is their Pollo dela Casa. It had mostly diced potatoes with chicken. It was bland to perfection. I was tempted to ask for salt.

Their Hummus was served like mashed potatoes. It was dense and lacked olive oil to make it a smoother texture. Like the Chicken, it made no impression to me.

Another experience at Blackbeard's Seafood Island but this time at Robinsons Galleria Veranda.

It's a late lunch birthday treat for my youngest sister.

We had the Tali Beach, Crab Rice, and the Chicharon Bulaklak con Bagnet.

Everything is so good! The boodle is balanced with seafood, chicken, pork, and veggies. The Lato (seaweed) is tasty, taste like the sea. Crab Rice is very good too. You can eat it on its own kahit walang ulam :). The Chicharon Bulaklak con Bagnet is sinful. Great great flavors in your mouth. Wish I could eat more rice! Haha

One problem though, I'm not sure if they have airconditioning. Pretty hot inside. They're just using electric fans.

Boodle feast alert!

Oh look at all the carbs on this plate. 128055128061128055

Why three stars? Let's face it: quality is always compromised with quantity with most restaurants and the sad part is, the quantity is also not so much. Oh well. 128078

What I like is their rice, I think it is tilapia rice? It's a bit salty and it goes well with the seafood.

The crabs were small but they tasted okay, I liked their chicken bbq, it was well marinated.

The shrimps were bland and small.

Adios! 128111

Been here many times with my foodie friends with my son and it never fail us.

Ordered mt. Apo boodle meal for 5-7persons., we're only six but we managed to empty our big plate.128077128540

This time we tried their salted fish rice to pair with steamed shrimp, fried tilapia, grilled liempo, grilled squid, steamed crab, ensalatang lato with fried dilis , inihaw na manok sa gata, kilawin na tanigue, imbao sa buco and balbakwa.

Salted fish rice is good but i really prefer the kalkag rice! 12854010084128077

Its a happy tummy again

If youre about to feed a group of ~6 peeps with ravenous appetites but not much into pleasing the palate, this is where you should go.

This place emphasizes quantity more than the quality of their food, although they do that by giving a lot of rice rather than the dishes.

Still, if you and youre friends are huge rice consumers, youll enjoy. Otherwise, look for another place.
