Of all attempts, this is the first time I'm finally eating here because :
1) we weren't on boodle mode so it meant NOT having to worry about missing mains
2) I was craving for sisig and they thankfully HAVE sisig
3) The calm before the storm (cause it's monday)

What we ordered :
128566 Crispy Sisig
Not really that crispy, and it was just ok. I could distinctively taste every raw ingredient, when it's supposed to be fused magically into one dish. Nevertheless, ok with kalamansi and knorr.

128522 Kare-Kare (Crispy Liempo?)
The sauce was just good, but not peanut buttery the way I like it. Fairy grandmommah would never go wrong that's why homemade is the best but anyway... Three slim chunks of liempo, not bad but it's not proportional to the serving of vegetables. The bagoong that came with it was pasty, and not the chunky type like Barrio Fiesta's, but still ok.

128517 Ima..something (not in the photo, late order)
This is essentially like Inihaw (BBQ liempo) chopped and soaked in suka with basic spices in it (pepper, garlic, onion) and tomato. I enjoyed this the most, actually, compared to the above-mentioned.

128552 Bagoong Rice
Nothing special for 95. I expected tiny chunks of meat or atleast tasty bagoong but no... 128552

128076 Garlic Rice
Pretty basic, garlic rice is garlic rice

Ambiance : good when not crowded
Staff : normal
Restroom : none, you'd have to use the main restroom of the hub

During our stress free nights.. We were looking for something to eat for dinner after the long long day.. So we decided to try seafood island..

Tried Dagupan's pride plus sinigang na baboy.
Take note this is just for 3 pax.: 128513128513

We decided na magkamay lang.. And We were so fullll to the max. Haha! Nkakabusog naman ung food but I think there's some resto nas mas good and sulit than this 128077

Okaaay..
The place was good. Konti lang kumakaen.. Almost 4 tables lang..
There's a band playing but we don't like it dagdag ingay lang..
Bit pricey 9996

Since this restaurant is also under the Red Crab company, there is no doubt about the quality of the seafood they offer. However, I noticed that their boodle packages are rice-heavy. "Konting ulam, madaming kanin" hehe! But I commend the creativity and presentation of their food. Pleasing to the eye and tummy as well!

Customer Service:
Inconsistent - Some are really attentive, some completely ignored us.

Food:
I super loved the bagoong with onions and tomatoes over fried eggplant

Venue:
I always stay at the back where I have a view of the manmade lake - very relaxing

I give this restaurant a reasonable 4 stars. Here are the reasons why:

We were looking for a place in Technohub where we could enjoy it together as a family. It seems that they are the best option because they offer their food in banana leaves and present it as a boodle feast. It follows a traditional Filipino salu-salo.

The staff was very accommodating during the afternoon. They did not present to us the most expensive ones like other restos do but what will be best for our family's appetite.

We ordered Magellan's Landing and I'd say it was delicious. The kinilaw was really good and the boodle feast was perfected because of its bagoong rice.

There ARE a lot of places that offer more afforable and good Pinoy food but Seafood Island has offered us a VARIETY of seafood. I think the price for 965/boodle feast, which would equal to 242/head is fair enough with me if you're looking for a family appropriate ambience and dining experience.

I will ALWAYS love their food! Tasty, huge servings, and accommodating service! No matter what "boodle" I order, I never regret. It's like a paradise in this place! 100841008410084

Ate lunch here for my friend's birthday. Apparently this place is famous for "boodle-feasts" or kamayan. When I was looking at the menu and they have many choices for the boodle feast to choose from. What we got since we were around 11 people was the Dagupan's Pride (good for 5-6 people) which had bangus, shrimps, pork BBQ, talong, okra, tomatoes and green mangoes. Although in the menu it said there was supposed to be grilled tahong and grilled liempo. We were mostly girls by the way and yet it didn't seem enough for all of us (we ordered two of the Dagupan's Pride).

Personally I like the boodle feast idea but I don't think the serving is enough for the number of people indicated in the menu. Quite pricey also!

We tried the boodle one last August. Kuya Juni's treat. The food is good, I like the soup and the shrimp. Tastes good. Pretty good even if we didn't eat a lot since we are like 15-17 persons sharing two boodle order.

Disliked is a strong word, I'm just not too keen. I think we paid way too much for what we actually got.

The shrimps & other seashells are dry. The rice is too salty. Its like I'm just paying for the rice than the seafood that should've enjoying. 128078

I don't know why a lot of people loves this one. Maybe with their Boodle feast that is on banana leaves together with differents viands, appetizers, soup, etc that can be eaten with your bare hands and to be shared with groups, now that's really fun thing to do right?

But with their food I gave it 2 stars for the reason that their food is just ordinary. Can be compared with the foods offered in food court, there's nothing special to it. We ordered 2 boodle and it's just really plain. Or maybe I've just expected too much? 128552
