Cozy, rustic lodge decor with high ceilings brings images of a log cabin - hence, Blackwood! Appetizers were a bit pricey but tried the crab claws anyway. Cute, tasty and spicy! Also went for the tuna salad before hitting a pizza - Bacon and Truffle cream pizza FTW! With the flakey crust, the pizza just dissolves when you eat it! Lastly, imported beers are overpriced so maybe stick to the locals on promo.

We ordered Crispy Gising-gising (had to ask them to skip the bagoong because of allergies -- which they complied), Grilled Chicken in Spicy Coconut Sauce, and Truffle Pizza.

The food came a little late, but we understand that you can't rush perfection. Although, I'd suggest that they give out something for their guests to munch on while waiting.

What's not to love about a place that prepares meals according to your preferences while listening to 80s music playing in the background?

Blackwood's ribs and sausage platter for the win! Great paired with their house wine. 128077
Generous serving. Good service. The place looks cozy. As for the price, it's quite expensive but I got to spare my bucks just by using two Metrodeal voucher, P399 only for P800 worth of food! Ordered P1600 worth of food! What a great deal isn't it? HAHA (too bad, alcoholic drinks are not included) 128513128077128514128055

Thanks for their free wifi, didn't get bored while waiting for my late friends haha! Greenfield District have a weekend market every Saturday at 4pm-12mn so go check it out before heading to this bar.

Staffs were accomodating and gladly answered all my questions. Even tho I waited more than 30minutes before ordering. Para freshly prepared pa pag dating ng friends ko.

Decided to order (Good for 3-4)

1) Fish And Chips P265 - 3 big battered fish, fries parang kulang ng salt or something, 2 dips but wasn't that impressed. It was ok. This was my second choice cuz no nachos that night (Aug. 2, Saturday)
2) Homemade Beef Ravioli P350 RECOMMENDED! - thick texture of pasta pillows but good for a nice bite, tasty beef, and sarap isabaw sa rice yung sauce. haha!
3) Jamon Serrano and Arugula Pizza - not sure if arugula yung sprouts pero di ko na inask yung staff hehe! Others were raving about their flaky dough but looking at this and for the P395 well, not sure if it's worth it.

Grab a voucher, food was worth it! But too pricey if regular price.

High ceiling, well lit, clean place & washroom

Friends ordered a 2 glass of wine for 200++ each.

Appearing to be a nondescript gastropub tucked away in the heart of the Greenfield District, Blackwood serves top-quality food, albeit for the lack of parking and the surrounding sites still in development.

127775 YAY FOR:

The pork belly and tofu (fancy version of tokwa't baboy) has grilled pork which is then soaked in a somewhat sweet vinegar sauce and sprinkled with the tradition siling labuyo.

The herb-crusted salmon (php595) isn't the best in the metro and a tad pricey, but still muy delicioso. Although the rice it's paired with has raisins(?) which gives it a sweet taste that doesn't exactly counterbalance the salmon's flavor.

The mashed potatoes were perfectly lumpy.

Winner though is the bacon and truffled-cheese pizza with thin, lamenated dough that flakes off quite nicely with every bite. The sauce felt like a finely-tuned string quartet playing in your mouth. Highly recommended and not at all bad for php350.

128078 NAY FOR:

The ribs are plenty but somewhat uninspired, with the tender meat in need of more sauce or marinating time.

Soft drinks cost php85 a can. Highway robbery.

Some items on the menu were unavailable.

And the music was like someone hit shuffle on iTunes - no specific genre or apparent dog selection. Took away from the ambience.

We celebrated our 2nd anniversary here. We were able to but vouchers from Metrodeal and we only paid 50 percent of the total bill.

I ordered the walnut crusted salmon and my honey ordered the binagoongan-ish liempo. I liked the salmon and he liked what he ordered.

We also ordered buffalo wings and the truffle pizza. Both are good especially the truffle pizza. It's the best pizza I have ever tasted.

Don't bother ordering the mozzarella sticks. It only took one bite to realize it wasn't good at all.

We have decided to buy another voucher and try their other food. 128077128076128516

I loved it because what you see is a buffet type of serving with all the greens, proteins and fish! And you get it around 300-ish pesos for lunch. -- haven't tried having dinner there yet though :)

I like the ambiance. Great for management lunches where you can talk office related stuff while enjoying the sophisticated variety of dishes.

We had our office Christmas party here, and they closed the whole place down for us (partly because one of the bosses is an owner pala 128559)

The place has this classy feel all around, but is more relaxed than the vibe it had when in Mckinley Hill. It really feels more like a bar now. They also play a combination of current top 40 hits and... Older... Music (80s?)

They even set up a buffet for everyone which included: Seared Tuna salad (which was okay), Baked Ziti (also okay), Chicken with White Truffle Cream Sauce (I wish the truffle flavor was stronger), Seafood Tepanyaki (a bit too salty), and the Roasted Porkloin (came back twice for it!)

Surprisingly, the Cheesecake was good too. They were little tiny bite-sized pieces, so we just kept coming back for more.

All in all, we all had a great time. I think I'll have to come back here though. I saw a Molten Chocolate Cake on their menu, and I'm quite intrigued. 128558
