Who needs meat when you can have falafel! It's a good and tasty alternative to meatballs. Didn't know chickpeas can taste this good, haha.

I also love their chicken souvlaki. The chicken breast was so flavorful and blended well with the tzatziki dip. So filling yet so affordable for only P180.

We're definitely going to go back to try the other dishes!

Went here for lunch today. Food was good esp the lamb souvlaki. However, the place is too small and they only have two tables inside, seating capacity of 10 plus 3/4 at the "bar". They also had a table outside for 3 persons which we opted to take because after just 5 minutes inside, our eyes got watery from the smoke probably from the grill (and to think we haven't ordered yet and no other customers were present). Service was great. Would not go back to this place.

Down South this weekend!

We wanted to try Meat Depot but the line was long and parking was scarce... We searched looloo for good places to try (no burgers this weekend please) and came across Ble...

It's a tiny nook along Aguirre which consists of three tables and a bar... Thankfully there was an available table! unfortunately it was the one near the kitchen, so we smelled like meat after...

I really wanted to try the lamb souvlaki but bf wanted the mixed meat platter, which was good for sharing... It had wagyu beef, chicken and beef kebabs, served with pita, fries and tzatziki... We ordered hummus with that...

We liked their hummus, which had a great creamy texture! We also enjoyed the mixed meat platter-- and we both thought that the chicken skewer was the best among the three...

The staff were nice and polite and the food was good! prices were reasonable and quality was spot on!128077

Ble (meaning Blue in Greek) has got to be the best Greek food I've tried in Manila. Everything is seasoned and cooked to perfection. It didn't feel or taste artificially Greek at all. This is probably as authentic as you can get. Highly recommend their lamb chops, gyros, souvlaki, kebabs, and appetizer platter with pita bread. The taste just blew me away. Even their fries are seasoned so well. You have to come back more than once and explore everything on their menu. Its. That. Good!

For dessert they have home made baklava and fried Turkish balls of dough in honey and cinnamon. What a treat!

Ble is the brainchild of a Greek man and his beautiful Turkish wife who moved to the Philippines. They started small as a stall in food markets and when people started discovering their little nook in BF, orders started piling in and they were even asked to cook for various private events in the area. Demand got so high they opened a second Ble in BF called Ble+ along Presidents Ave 128521

This lamb kebab souvlaki for P180 is flavorful and filling! *points to the kebab i'm holding* it is so worth your money that you would want to order one of each of the kebabs.

We also got a baclava to share. It was swimming in oil, i was thinking something more light and fluffier given several layers of fillo pastry. The loukadades (was it?) was outta stock that would have been a much more interesting dessert.

This is their smaller branch and can seat about a dozen crammed inside. We took the bar, since we weren't going to eat much. The rain poured but we needed to leave. If we intend to get more, we'll have to try the other branch in el grande. Hmmm, options, options.

Encouraged my friends to have lunch here as I was enticed by its average rating on looloo. I could say our visit was pretty decent. I ordered Chicken Breast Souvlaki, while my friends had Moussaka and Falafel. We tasted each other's food out of curiosity. I wasn't so impressed with the Falafel. It was too dry for my taste. Moussaka was good - really cheesy. It's like a healthier version of your typical beef lasagna. But Souvlaki was the perfect choice for me. Loved the combination of flavors and tenderness of chicken meat.

Decent food, decent service. The place however is small. I think we should have visited Ble+ instead (bigger branch nearby). Some items on their menu are only available at Ble+.

Chanced upon a parking slot right in front of Ble so we decided to go for it!
Place is really tiny, as in claustro 128563 server came out with earphones on and didn't even hand us the menus.
After perusing for a while, we decided to try the feta cheese (in picture, php250) and kebab platter (php500). The cheese came out after a few minutes and it was delicious! Generous serving as well. The pita isn't heavy and starchy. Even ordered some more 128522
Our platter had a stick of chicken, wagyu beef and wagyu cubes. Also served with their tzatiki which was excellent. Liked the chicken and wagyu beef but the cubes were kinda hard. Found out that it's pan fried instead of grilled.
Pretty good alternative I must say, will try other dishes next time.
Total bill was php1200 with extra pita, extra stick of wagyu beef and a couple of drinks. Pretty steep or maybe we just didn't know how to order.
Less one star cos service could be better. You'll also come out smelling like food.

We almost drove past Blé as it was sandwiched between what looked like an internet shop and a drugstore. What caught my eye was the bright blue and white façade that screamed, "Greece is here!" As the other reviews have mentioned, the place is quite small. But what it lacks in elbow room is well made up for by its lovely interiors that give guests a very homey feel.

It seems that Blé has gained so much popularity that they now have a second branch called Blé+ over at El Grande. Also, I noticed that the pricing has gone slightly higher than what is published on their looloo menu. It's not surprising that business is doing well - their food is delicious, authentic and reasonably-priced.

We had their Greek Salad, regular lamb Souvlaki, loaded lamb Souvlaki, Moussaka and Loukoumades for dessert (we tried to order their Baclava as well but as luck would have it, they were all out for the day). The husband and I could not believe how delicious each item was! The salad was fresh and tasty, although I wished it had a tad more feta. The pita (or pitta as spelled on the menu) served with the salad and used for the souvlakis tasted like it was made by γιαγιά (grandma). The béchamel on the moussaka was so creamy and delicious and the loukoumades were just a treat. The serving portions are quite generous too - it's a definite bang for your buck.

The service was about average. We were there on a weekday at an odd hour so we had to get up from our table every now and then to call the server's attention.

Overall, we enjoyed our visit to Blé - great food at fair prices. We look forward to trying out their other branch soon.

New dessert alert!! 128525

This greek dessert is called loukoumades and it is life changing! 128561

Loukoumades are basically the greek version of donuts, they are bite sized light, fluffy, & airy dough puffs deep fried to golden and crispy perfection, and then drizzled with honey syrup & sprinkled with cinnamon.

They taste like beignets but with a mediterranean twist, my friend said it reminds of her of carioca but lighter and fluffier. Ah basta you have to try it for yourself to see what I'm talking about. IT IS THAT YUMMY!!! i want some more right now128557

On a different note, their greek salad is also to die for! I don't really eat cucumber but they made me start to like it (gasp!) because of their salad which is so fresh and light!

Best beef souvlaki I've ever had. Really big for the price too! Small, homey place with limited seats so might be better to just get takeout next time or eat-and-run.

Blé is quietly tucked into the busy streets of BF Homes which has become quite the food scene. It's easy to miss if you're not paying close attention to the establishments you're driving by.

We were pleasantly surprised at the restaurant's size. It was very small. It could seat about a dozen people at a time. It was perfect for an intimate meal. At the time of our visit, we had the restaurant all to ourselves! We started our meal with an order of Pitta Bread and the Dip Platter which consisted of Hummus, Babaganush, Tzatziki, and Olives. We then tried their Lamb Chops and Moussaka. We liked everything we tried! Their staff is very commendable as well. They were very friendly and accommodating. Blé definitely lived up to the authentic Greek dining experience we were in search for.

It's our first time to try greek food, so Anthony and I were really excited to try this place out. We had dinner here with some of our HS friends. The place is just small. Enough for not more than 10 people. Liked how they designed the place 128077

We ordered greek salad, beef souvlaki and moussaka! We enjoyed everything!!! 128055128055128055

Been hearing soooo many great things about this place so my expectations were really really high! Guess we went on an off day.

I've been reading about the Greek owner/chef who's really jolly and accommodating. When we went there, he wasn't there. The service wasn't great. 128532 The staff wasn't enthusiastic at all. Asked us to hand over the plates, get our dishes from the counter, didn't even move the tables and chairs for us. We had to do everything. Zzzzz. I guess the heat and the tiny space didn't help either.

The food however was good! And affordable too. The Beef Souvlaki at 150 really gave you value for money! And I loved the Greek Salad! Nomnomnom feta cheese 10084

Planning to give this place another shot soon. Hope they improve their service though. And I hope I get to meet the owner too! Haha

Servers were friendly and their food was affordable! I didn't like the setup though -- the dining area and kitchen didn't have a door to separate them. I was teary-eyed more than half of the time because of the onions that were being sliced in the kitchen. I actually saw it because when I had to go to the restroom, I had to pass by their kitchen. It all started there. 128514
