Being new to yoga, it's important to find a good studio, a nice instructors, good facilities which as a whole will give you a value for your money and time (yoga class is not cheap, btw). In addition, all these factors will help you decide whether or not to pursue yoga as part of your lifestyle. As they say, the benefit of yoga practice will take time, and so each experience that you will obtain from every session should always be blissful, inspiring and encouraging.

It's my third session today at Bliss Yoga. But before finally deciding to give this studio a try, I did my research about it months and months ago. I started yoga three years ago in Yoga Malate for Yin classes. The experience I had there was really good. It lasted me for only a month because I needed to transfer work in Makati. Hence, accessibility plays a vital factor. But that was when I fell in love with yoga.

I used to join yoga group classes in my gym months ago and it just made me realize that this time I must really give it a time and let it somehow be part of my lifestyle. And so, I gave Bliss Yoga a try. I subscribed in their starter package that is Php 1000 for 7 sessions valid for one week. So it's like an unlimited for one week (if you will take classes straight in a week). I already had 3 gentle flow classes under different instructors - Anj, Ross and Tessa.

Honestly, I have no complaints as of the moment, because so far, I'm having a good experience. I find the classes good and so are the instructors, they are all helpful and always checking out each student if they make the right pose. The locker area, studio room, toilet and shower facilities are clean and well maintained. I'm joining night classes after work hours and so far, the number of students I was able to encounter was just right (about less than 10). :)

I do hope that my first impression and experiences in this yoga studio will last as I am planning to try on their other packages that will last for months. 128151

And probably after a month or two, I'll be able to give an updated review. :)

I've always wanted to try yoga and last year I was finally able to do it by availing the introductory promo of Bliss Yoga Manila for only P1,000. I have nothing but good things to say about this place, the ambiance is relaxing, the staff including the instructors are really nice, and the yoga classes are varied and challenging.

Towels are provided and there are also yoga mats that you can rent. The place also has a shower area so you can squeeze in a session in your work during break time if you're working near Bliss Yoga.

Out of all yoga classes I recommend Bhakti Urban Flow with Roland.

Searching the web of yoga studios near my place, Yoga Bliss is one of the top searches on Google.

A humble studio along Dela Rosa, Yoga Bliss is perfect for those in the Vinyasa practice. Majority of the classes are concentrated on this than on any yoga style (in the Makati branch, at least).

The yoga teachers here are great! The studio has a tranquil and zen environment which is conducive for relaxation before entering the state of peace.

A few disadvantages though:
- only 4 showers, 4 toilets and a few lockers in the girls' changing room (they have A LOT of students, btw)

- the yoga room is quite small to accommodate more than 20 people in one class (yes, they have THIS much people in every class)

- water isn't for free (compared to some studios where there is free flowing water for everyone)

I believe that going to any yoga session is better than no yoga at all. Today's class was Jivamukti and I guess I just wasn't feeling it as much as I do for Vinyasa. It was ok but the workout wasn't enough. I also suspect the guy next to me fell asleep during savasana or corpse pose. I heard him snore.

I decided to give yoga a try and was really impressed with how the instructors handled the class. The facilities are brand new having opened just last Feb. I removed one star though because there are only two shower stalls for women which is grossly inadequate. The staff are always polite and guess what? You can book classes online. Now if there were more shower stalls for women this would be perfect.

Attended the Power Yoga class by Tesa and the Jivamukti Yoga class by Nancy. Power Yoga by Tesa served up real Vinyasa conditioning goodness and the Jivamukti class was very relaxing.

Their staff is warm and accommodating and the teachers are very friendly. I feel at home at Bliss. And the classes have a good, coherent flow to them.

They've moved to Plaza One Hundred along V. Rufino now (slightly more traffic to deal with after work), but you'll leave feeling very refreshed and energized. Great Yoga experiences so far, and looking forward to more. 9786
