Stopover from camsur to have our lunch. They have the best crispy pata and sisig. We also ordered laing, blue Marlin and kare2x. We didn't like their kare2x because the taste is bland, seems like no peanut butter or they didn't use peanut and their bagoong is so dry. But the others are good and serving is good for 5 persons already.

Famous for its mouth-watering and Crispy Pata!! Meat was tender, skin crispy and well seasoned. We also had their Bicol Express and Laing, both were delicious too. This resto is always included in the top restaurants in Davao, so it is always packed.

Only comment is the service. Service was slow and hard to get their attention.

REAL TIME REVIEW 🕐
Situated in Albay, Bicol this Eye-Catching Restaurant is worth visiting. Name palang ng Restau, witty na hahahaha! I thought at first corny yung interior cause of the "corny" name hahaha but when I went inside, naaliw ako it's a mix of modern and reggae-ish feel. Ang ganda rin ng taste sa music, puro Bob Marley feels + Tropical House Music. Medyo narereminisce ko ang El Nido Trip ko cause the music were all like that and the chill vibr.
The place looks new and very clean.

FOOD:
Tried their Kare Kare and Crispy Pata. It was okay. Nothing special about it. Medyo dry din yung rice. They serve Pinoy and American Food. It's a bit pricey, food ranges from P250 to P450 but it's good for sharing na. But I love their Ice Tea House Blend.

The crispy pata is to die for! It's worth every penny and calorie. Hefty serving! The skin was really crispy and the meat tender.

The place was pretty packed being the 26th of December. Right away we ordered their famous crispy pata and their marlin steak but we juat got the smallest one in the menu since the crispy pata was quite huge plus my nephew ordered fish and chips. Crispy pata was indeed heaven and the marlin was fresh even when it was submerged in garlicky gravy.. I enjoyed it. Couple of comments would be parking and the lack if it and mosquitoes specialy we have kids around.

Chill place to dine and drink, unwind after a tiring day.

They serve regular viands plus of course, traditional bicolano dishes. I love their bicol express, not too spicy, and their laing.

They also offer big mountain platters, good for 3-4pax for 375php per platter.

Beer bucket for 200php for 5bottles - can be mixed beers. Plus they have happy hour.

Place can be really packed at night. With non-smoking and smoking room. There's a place where bands usually play. They play non-stop reggae music.

I loved the food from Bob Marlin. Especially the Crispy Pata. My family and I have been here whenever there's an occasion. The last time we went Bob Marlin was Mother's Day. Dahil marami kaming inorder na pagkain, 'di namin kinaya ubusin lahat 128514. We went home with our tummies full and the left over food from the restaurant. It was worth it! 128076 Thank you, Bob Marlin! We'll visit you again on Father's Day!

They claim they have the best crispy pata in town and they are right! Try also their grilled squid which is great. Try also the sisig with mayo.

In fact all menu items are great! Average spend if you will have a meal here is 300-500 for two.

You can also just chill out and have a round of drinks with friends while enjoying their crispy pata.

A must try place to eat when in Naga City, Cam Sur! Pardon me if I dont have the pics to show it, I was just to hungry to take pics

We were choosing between this restaurant and Red Platter. Mom choose this cause it said they have the best Crispy Pata. Im glad we trusted her. It was Divine! 128525 The best crispy pata I have ever tasted.

We also ordered their Laing: it was on the milky side but it was good too. One of the best laing I have ever had. Deserves a 128077

Bicol Express is also a must try for Chili lovers. I l absolutely loved it. Even if they put pineapple chunks to lessen the spicy-ness 128077128077

Sinigang na Salmon Belly: I loved it too. I love how sour it is. And the freshness of the salmon . It just lacks vegetables for me. Receive a 128077

Great-Excellent Food
Good - Great Ambiance: kinda crowded and narrow aisles
Good - Great Service: I dont know is it because I was hungry or the service was kinda slow
Excellent Value for money: I must say food is cheap

We had to stop over at Naga City on our way to Caramoan. My friends and I researched the best restos in the area and Blue Marlin is in the list.

As the name suggests, the resto is rasta and Bob Marley themed! My eyes were feasting on the wall decors and an interesting paper table mat with trivia on Jamaica, Bob Marley - and probably something on weed. Haha

We tried their famous Crispy Pata and it didn't fall short of our expectation! The skin was crispy without being too oily and the meat was really tender and tasty! It's one of the best Crispy Patas I have tried.

The other dish we tried is Kare-Kare. I must say that I'm picky on Kare-Kare and as expected, their version didn't impress me. It lacks the peanut buttery flavor and was kind of bland for my tastes.

As for the value, I think we paid around P1,000 for the dinner. It's pretty much worth it as each dish was good for 3-4 persons.

I'd definitely go back to Bob Marlin when I happen to be in Naga next!

Our first and only day in Naga City had us eating lunch at Bob Marlin, inpired by reggae artist Bob Marley. Known for their crispy pata, this place will keep you amused with their colorful menu and paper mats.

It would most probably have been a gastronomical experience had we ordered crispy pata. We didn't since we were just two and their serving size is for four or more. This can be my reason to return one day and forget about calories, cholesterol, and dieting.

Last April 28,our second day for our Legazpi trip, our tour guide bring us for a Camsur Trip but before that we had a stopover lunch at Bob Marlins. Thanks a lot to our tour guide for taking us on the best places of our trip and including the best foodtrip.Bob Marlins was located at Naga City and it was one of the best restaurants there that caters their local dishes like Laing,Bicol express and others. But because I have been eating a lot lately of their local dishes me and my family decided not to order it this time.We were so hungry that time after a fun photoshots at Cagsawa Ruins which I will make a review later on.So we ordered crispy pata,kare-kare,sisig,chopseuy.Then for the rice itsfor 160pesos only andthe waiter told us that its good for four person only and we were seven in a group so we have it double and to our surprise each set bowl of rice has a huge serving so we had so many leftover rice that time. The crispy pata was well spent. It has a huge serving and very crispy and the kare-kare was good too. Many famous celebrities have been here already and I saw many plates there on their wall that has signature of the celebrities that went there. Also they sell souvenir items like tshirts etc...For our bill I think I paid less than 2,500pesos.Not bad for the seven people right and we were so full that time and our tummies were so satisfied. So if your going to Naga I recommend this place. Many tourists like us ate their lunch here that time.12786012807710084
