In one of Zomato and PLDT SME gatherings, I met other restaurant owners, learned new concepts with them and shared experiences. Here, I also met Brian who eventually invited me to Bobo’s Pizzeria.

The name actually stands for its main offering- Best of Brick Oven Pizza. Its name surprises like what they offer in a small yet cozy hub along the densely populated food area of Maginhawa.

Besides a variety of pizza, they also have pasta and risotto creations. Their brick oven masterpieces offers light thin dough with flavorful toppings for a steal deal. The tasty Napoletana was just Php 175 for a whole pie. You can even have two types on that 8 inch diameter.

Osso Bucco Safron Risotto was my favorite. It came with creamy rice and a generous portion of succulent beef and tomatoes. We were supposed to share this, I forgot and ate most of it. Superb deal at Php 185.

The pastas presented were my least favorites but still a bargain. The Pesto had a weak taste. I guess it could use more pesto presence and parmesan for more intense flavor. The Bobo’s Pasta which was a combination of meat and veggies had a nice touch of tomato sweet and sour tomato sauce and spiced meat.

Since it’s located on the open street, expect unfavorable temperatures and no restroom. It is a place though for great Italian picks!

Super worth it. The brick oven cooked pizza is flavorful. We tried hawaiian pizza, tastes not like the ordinary pizza, you'll love the mozzarella cheese, sprinkled herb on top, and smoky taste of the pizza crust. I already ate dinner when we tried this but we were able to finish a 1slice box. It really is that deli. Munch on it while it's hot. If I got the chance I'll visit this pizzeria again and bring more friends.127829128076

A hole in the wall. The place isn't air conditioned but I find it serene. The pizza is amazing! Their best-seller, Bobo's Pizza is delicious. The same with the four cheese pizza. I'm a cheese person so I find it so yummy. They have this instagram worthy place for me. Affordable prices and they offer other meals too. Definitely going back here.

Affordable and tasty, this pizza place in the Middle of Maginhawa definitely gives one's cravings a bang for your buck. Not only do they offer pizzas of various flavors, but also their own take on risotto dishes. Personal experience here was relatively okay, although the al fresco feeling is not exactly conducive during the summer months....

I have seen this new place along Maginhawa. Unfortunately, they replaced one of my favorite places here called Nanette's where they sell a Filipino-style burrito but I still give them a try.

The prices were pretty reasonable. I wanted to try their bestseller but I was afraid I might get disappointed. I opted for the safest flavor...Hawaiian for take-out.

For the price of P175, it wasn't bad but I expected a little more. It kinda lacked in flavor. I tasted burnt crust. Maybe next time I should try eating it at their place than taking it home.

P insisted we try this pizzeria and I was quite hesitant because I already felt full from our dinner but we've tried anyway. It's my first time to try an all-cheese pizza and Bobo's Quatro Formaggi (Four Cheese) did not disappoint! I didn't noticed I've had four slices and P told me, "busog pala ha" 128517

Sorry there's no photo, I only remembered that I haven't taken a photo after we've finished the whole pizza. 128517

There were nothing special about their pastas. They tasted ordinary and did not really have an interesting taste. Serving size was pretty small. The pizzas were ok, my favorite was their three cheese pizza. It tasted the least homemade out of the 2 we ordered. The servers were very friendly and lightened the mood of the place.
