Was looking forward to visit this place on a weekend trip with a friend from work. We didn't get to stay very long though. We just grabbed half a meal, bagged the rest to go, then hurried to check in at our hotel. Would have loved to come back and get a really good feel of the place though. The restaurant has a good view, friendly staff, and a menu with widely-varied choices.

I got the grilled fish plate, which was really worth the price given their serving size. The salad was nothing special, really, it was just 10x more visually appetizing than most - no false advertising there, it really was. 128525 But still, a salad is a salad is a salad.

My favorite part though was their homemade ice cream. They offerer at least 8 flavors for 50Php each, but we only got to try two each. I had the malunggay, which is supposedly their best seller (and I have no doubts why, because it was amazinggg 128557128557128557) and the dragonfruit (tasty and really full of flavor). If I could come back, I would do it for the ice cream and the view!

It was December of last year when we went here. Unfortunately, they don't have daytour at that time because of the season.

Staffs are accomodating. Before they serve our food, they gave us complimetary appetizer composed of cassava chips, mango spread, malunggay spread, salsa and wheat bread. Those were all delish! Our all organics meal arrived and I'm impressed! I never thought that organic food can be that tasty and appealing to taste buds! ;)

After lunch, we had ice cream of course. In replacement to usual sugary cones, Bohol bee Farm uses cones made of cassava chips. And boy, it's better!

Bohol Bee Farm is one of the place you shouldn't miss when you're in Bohol.

There's no entrance fee, so you can check the whole place. They offer tour for only 30 pesos/pax. Our tour guide showed and discussed the different types of herbs & flowers they have and their uses, we went to see the bees ( They will let you hold the drone frame full of bees. Scary!), we also check how their products are made (They taught us how to weave using those old weaver machine).

After the tour, we went to The Buzzz shop to buy some goodies. They have really amazing and healthy products, and their staffs are really accomdating. I've tried all their spread (Mango, Malunggay, Chocolate, Honey, Pesto, etc.), tasted the different kinds of honey ( Wild, Molave, Hard), bread ( Must try: Squash muffin) and other organic stuff.

Aside from their products, you should never forget to eat at their restaurant that has a beutiful view of the sea. They serve, fresh, healthy and organic food. For lunch, I ordered Grilled fish, with organic garden salad, and fresh lemongrass drink. They also gave complimentary food: freshly-baked bread, cabcab with malunggay spread. For dessert, we tried the Malunggay Ice cream. I love it!

I really enjoyed everything. The view, their products, and the food. Next time I visit Bohol, I will definitely go back to Bohol Bee Farm.

Sustainable, fresh, healthy, organic...these words seem to be the thrust of Bohol Bee Farm. All the ingredients they use for the meals come from their own farm! And they don't use any chemicals or pesticides.

Their restaurant is facing Bohol Sea so it's a great scenery to see while enjoying the healthy meals they serve. The complimentary pesto and mango spreads are to die for! Even if they serve organic food, prices are very affordable and servings are generous!

Visit to Bohol Bee Farm is not complete without touring the whole place. For P30/pax, a tour guide will show the visitors around the property and share info about different herbs and spices. And the highlight of it all? The close encounters with the bees! There are over 120 boxes around the area full of bees. A box contain around 60,000 bees. When in Bohol, don't miss Bohol Bee Farm!

5 stars for this restaurant! Very good ambience and most importantly super duper delicious food! We ordered a seafood pizza, spaghetti with meatballs, organic chicken and mango shake. I also bought a pesto spread, wild honey and corn coffee on their simple cute shop. Can't wait to go back soon! 128522

Even at 9:00pm we were still able to catch up for a quick sugar fix - homemade ice cream! Yay! I had ginger ice cream, a divine, creamy goodness with a spicy kick! Yum!

If you're going to Panglao, make sure to have a sidetrip here. Spend a night or two in this beautiful resort, I'm sure you'll love how relaxing and serene this place is. Their suites are spacious with nice bathrooms! There's a good view of the ocean while lounging in the bathtub, I've actually spent an hour doing nothing. Muni muni lang! Haha. Anyway, plenty of interesting things to see inside the resort so don't be lazy, and check the whole resort. They serve organic food too. Think of a bowl of salad with pretty edible flower petals, cute diba. However, my favorite among their food is the homemade ice cream! Super yummy!! I've tasted their malunggay ice cream and it's really good. Since Bohol Bee Farm is an advocate of healthy living, they also use their own cone. Their ice cream cones are made of "cabcab" or dried cassava, which is equally satisfying too.

By the way, their sundeck got an amazing view. Kakarelax! This is an ideal place for family with kids. Pero pwede din naman ang couples. :)

Having the lunch served on our table made me think that really, gardens do grow on plates128513 It was really refreshing seeing their mix of greens garnished with the playful colors of edible flowers! And the dressing, that perfect balance of sweet and tart flavors holding every element of this dish that they call the organic garden salad. The seafood pasta is also good but there is nothing really distinct about it compared to the rest of the seafood pastas I've tried. It is decently seasoned though, all with the clams, shrimps, squid, fish and assorted fresh herbs so it isn't a bad choice. Cabcab is also interesting - their own version of taco made with dried cassava paste. It is served with their homemade organic pesto and green tomatoes which will basically lighten up the mild tasting cabcab chips.

I think Bohol Bee Farm is definitely something to consider when visiting Bohol. It may hurt your budget a bit but it's worth every penny that you are to spend. Food may lack the explosive flavors but with their kitchen being 90% organic, the chefs are doing a pretty good job. It was a healthy and aesthetic feast of authenticity without having to compromise much the quality. One thing is for sure, you will leave the place with both your stomach and eyes pleased10084

I received a pasalubong of honey butter from the H. It's more honey than butter, like dry jam. It was still pretty good, the honey provided a different taste and texture to the butter.

I must confess I've only been here once, over 5 years ago I think. What I can say was we truly loved the food here that we ate here 2 nights in a row during our stay in Panglao. We would've eaten here more than that had we discovered this place sooner.

This is the place I first tried eating a flower in a salad. They had rose petals and some yellow daisy looking ones. It didn't add any flavor to the salad, but it did make the dish super colorful and appetizing. Their pumpkin bread and cassava bread was also delicious.

If and when we re-visit Panglao we'll surely dine here again.

Thanks Lexi M for the reco128522

I love the place!! The tourist guide thoroughly explained the behavior of the bees and the importance of the plants. Their signature ice cream is so good and tasty. At the back, there was a restaurant who has a nice view of the sea.

If you're the type of person who can appreciate nature's beauty then this place will just blow you away. Mind you i'm just starting off with the place's mood.

From the entrance, it would feel like you're about to go on a forest adventure. It's not a long walk from the entrance, but the moment you set foot on the restaurant floor you'd see a breath-taking view. You'd feel the sea breeze envoloping your body. Sadly I expected the sound of crashing waves but that's just asking for too much. Walk down the edge, and you will be able to see the sea floor. It's that clear.

Now let's go to the food. My girlfriend took me here, so I have no idea what's good. But the pictures on the menu will entice you enough to order one of them, or all if you're feeling rich. It's not that expensive though. So I'll just describe what I ordered. Honeyglazed Chicken with a side of fresh Cassava Lumpia. I'm not a big fan of vegetables, but the Cassava Lumpia was just amazing. The wrapper wasn't cold or hot, and the vegetables inside mixed well with the wrapper's flavor, but what really made it amazing was their peanut butter. It had peanut butter inside, which I think was made by them (not sure about this, but it didn't taste like any peanut butter i've eaten. And i have eaten a lot. From ludy's to Skippy). Then the Honeyglazed Chicken will surprise you. You'd expect that it would be something so sweet but it wasn't. It was roasted, then the honeyglaze was mixed with some sesame seeds. The honey's sweetness did not overpower the chicken's flavor. It complimented it. #12Days

My bf and I are celebrating our 7th month in an LDR, and this time it was his turn to go the distance and fly to Cebu for me. I surprised him with a side trip to Bohol and this is our first stop. 128525

Thanks to |ooloo for their recent feature on Bohol and I was sold to the idea. Also thanks to Lexi M for recommending this place to me. It is definitely one date to remember! 10084

Before anything else, I have to talk about the complimentary homemade Pumpkin Bread, Malunggay Butter and Honey Butter spreads, and Green Tomatoes with Cheese on Cassava Chips (called Cab Cab locally) was absolutely delicious! They were the best items to start a hearty and organic meal! 128525

We asked for the specials and the lady recommended to us the Spare Ribs and their Honey Glazed Chicken. Both came with a choice of side dish which typically completed the experience. 128513

The Spare Ribs was delightfully tender and easily falls off the bone. The taste of the sauce was a tad weird though, it was tomato-based which I'm not particularly fond of. But it was an acquired taste, and I still enjoyed it very much. 128522 The Garden Salad I chose for my side dish has been popping up on my news feed for quite a while so I had to try it. It was too pretty to eat, with the flowers and all. I still found it tasty though in spite of the colorful petals. Haha 128516 It's not my first time to eat flowers in a salad but this dish particularly had more colors than those I've had before. That's a good sign though, and knowing we were in a bee farm made me feel ok to eat it.

My BF's plate of Honey Glazed Chicken came with the alternative to the salad which was the Cassava Lumpia. The lumpia was something else, exploding with flavors! It had the right sweetness, tanginess and saltiness! It was awesome and the sauce only made the side dish even more amazing! 128516 Of course the chicken should be good what with the fresh honey being used for the glaze. It was sweet and salty and cooked just right. The dish was a masterpiece on a plate! 128525

All in all, this place is just amazing and definitely worth a visit when in Bohol! 100841008410084️ Cheers to more adventures and to going the distance! 127775127775127775127775127775

If you're planning on an herb garden, this is probably your theme park.

This is the headquarters of Bohol Bee Farm. Their restaurant, as do their restaurant franchises in the city, prepares dishes tailored to vegetarians and vegans but they primarily serve meat, poultry and fish as main course depending on what's available on their menu. But it's not just a restaurant. It is actually a resort. We stayed here and I'm amazed by its truly eco-friendly theme. As you walk to your room under the shade of tall trees, this is your health retreat from the urban oxidants (they do have a spa overlooking the gorgeous waters). They also have function halls for social gatherings and business events.

The resort is connected to a limestone cliff so after you enjoy your bougainvilleas in vinaigrette 128540 early in the morning, you can go down to their cottage by the sea and take a cold plunge.

You can take the garden tour for the rest of the day and interact with the gardeners potting seedlings of romaine lettuce, smell dill, coriander and peppermint from their herb garden, weave nervously with the traditional loom weavers in uniform and get a hold of a block of bees from their hive by an experienced tour guide (too bad the queen bee was busy).

Before the tour ends, you get to taste their home-made ice cream. My favorite was lemongrass flavor. Yum! They also have a store of their own organic products including cosmetics like soap, lotion, lip balm to sandwich spreads, kape-mais (coffee made of roasted corn kernels) and souvenir items.

So much to see but so little time. I wish I stayed longer. Their staff were easy to get along. Given a chance to go back, I would love to!

I was having high expectations with their flower salad and it was actually my first time to try one. Though I'm having doubts whether a bougainvillea is edible, I dared and it tasted so-so. The good side is you can actually eat it but there's nothing really special when I tried it. Or perhaps I wasn't really hungry that time or may be the flowers just didn't go well with my taste buds. I had it for snacks and I'm still willing to give it another try the next time I'll visit Bohol. The presentation though is very unique and pleasing to the eye. 128516

It may sound as an old and elementary field trip destination. Yes but Noooooo!

Entering the place, as what a farm is, it is filled with plants. Organic plants meaning they do not use pesticides to grow the plants but natural materials as fertilizers. What's more fun is how the guide discussed the plants and its use. It's more fun if you are learning again, right? What I took interest most is the discussion on bees. I felt so young asking so much on the bees, how they live and especially about the queen bee. We are so lucky that upon showing the bee frame, we saw the queen bee! Ieven took a picture. She's really different from the rest.

It has a restaurant. Not so ordinary restaurant. Because it serve organic fruits, vegetables and even meat products from their farm. As what the common saying or joke says, "Don't panic, it's organic!" But what I am woryring about is the taste. It may taste different. But goodness, the taste is even more delicious! They are using honey instead of sugar and other not common spices still organic. They serve organic flavored ice cream also from their farm. And the view at the restaurant is the seaside or the beach side so it is more refreshing to eat.

When you visit Bohol, make sure to visit this Bohol Bee Farm. Eat and Learn!

I loveeee their malunggay ice cream! This place is a must-visit for those who likes anything organic! Too bad we didn't have much time to stay longer in this place. Would have wanted to try their buffet. I heard it's good. Well, another reason to go back here.128521 Brought home a bottle of their honey as pasalubong.128077
