Aside from the usual and comforting fried chicken that we, Pinoys, love from our staples McDonald's, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Jollibee and Wendy's, I am kind of sure that you will say yes when I state that BonChon is another one of those fast-food restaurants that we learned to love as soon as it hit the global market.

BonChon, meaning "my hometown" in Korean originated from South Korea and spread its craze all over the world given its perfect and distinct chicken cooking technique paired with their signature and addictive sauces that makes it unique from other establishments.

I have always loved the staple and original items from their menu --- from the Soy Garlic, Spicy, Honey Citrus and Crunchy Garlic flavors, may it be in their Wings, Drumsticks, Chops and Thighs. Their combo boxes will give you the freedom to mix and match chicken parts according to your preference.

For some other sides that they offer aside from the originals and signatures, I have always loved their Crispy Fish and Chips Box plus their tasty ChapChae that I always order whenever I get the chance to do so.

So for this visit at Eastwood Citywalk's branch, I have noticed that this BonChon branch here is quite old already. The furnitures looked quite worn out and the ventilation is not that good. The air condition cannot keep up with the crazy weather outside.

Anyway, as part of a nee item in their menu is the Bibimbowl. It caught my eye so I ordered the ala carte Spicy Fiery Chicken Bibimbowl for 99 pesos only.

In all fairness, I loved all the ingredients together because it gave the meal a really powerful combination of textures and flavours because of the spices. As instructed, it's best eaten when mixed with the Korean rice with the authentic Korean spiced chicken.

This richly intense and spicy Bibimbowl dish was a good buy for me as I am a fan of anything spicy yet tasty. The chicken slices were huge and generously served too. I loved the vegetables and spices that gave the meal a colorful look, too. The presentation and the packaging were something I got to appreciate too.

OK, another favorite from BonChon, I guess. I will definitely come back to try their breakfast sets and the Bibim Fries and the Krazy Ko-Dog boxed meals!

Sorry BonChon ikaw na puntiria ko pero in general..I think everyone should clean up after themselves in public places. How come other countries can do it and tayo hindi?

I strongly believe that it's about time (ever since naman e) we teach Filipinos to CLAYGO.

Just like in other places na they give you a spot sa restaurant nila where you can leave your used plates/glasses. So it cultivates cleanliness and efficiency.

I think dinala na ni St. Marc yun dito and some other food establishments.

Hay, realizations on a Sunday. 128517

Craving for some chicken and wings and decided to check out Bonchon. The restaurant was busy but we were able to get a table and get seated almost immediately.

I ordered their garlic soy chicken and for my friend their bibimbowl since he wanted to try the not so new addition to their menu. The garlic soy chicken is still delicious, crispy coating and the flavor of the chicken skin manages to have impact on every bite for only 150 pesos you get to have 2 piece of chicken and a drink their ice tea is comparable to wendy's ice tea so refreshing. For my friend he got the beef bibimbowl and he said it has generous servings plus its good and full of flavors for 150++ you have the miso soup or tofu soup? (Haha) and a drink. We also ordered their french fries which has the right thickness cut and goes well with the chicken.

The atmosphere is fun and trendy, plus service is quick and consistent, servers were friendly and corteous, food on the other was good and offer cheap price. I recommend this place for their chicken yummy in my tummy. Haha.

Ordered chapchae, took them around 10 mins to bring my order. Good thing their chapchae is delicious. Sister was still full and just ordered their french fries. It was served warm though it was not crispy at all. Mcdo's fries still. 128514128514128514

Joined my colleagues for lunch and decided to try Bon Chon's new kid on the menu - the Bibimbowl! They have two varieties - the beef bowl and the chicken bowl. Half of us tried the beef, while the rest tried the chicken.

For just Php 150, you'll have a generous serving of the bibimbap-inspired dish which includes chicken, rice, shredded vegetables, and everything bibimbap in the bowl. The value meal includes a regular drink and a miso soup with japchae noodles.

I seemed to like the dish mainly because of the taste and its generous serving. The chicken cuts were all glazed, just like their usual chicken chops which isn't bad at all. My friends who tried the beef seemed to like their bibimbowl too, though they said that the serving was a little less. Well, at least, that's beef you got there kids! 128513

My colleagues said that they're having this for the last 2 days and still loving it!

Something good and new to try in Bon Chon when you thought you just had too much of their chops or their chicken alone! It's definitely good for its price and it's perfect for a lunch meal! Way to go for this delicious dish, Bon Chon!

Aside from loving their tasty Soy Garlic chicken, I really like the fact that Bon Chon has marble tables. Makes it less hot inside the store. Also well air-conditioned and clean!

We enjoyed our stay here. For a midnight rendezvous before calling it a night.

I am posting about this branch because we loved the position we had seated outside on the umbrella tables together with the busy gimik people of eastwood citiwalk center but substantially far away from the booming sound systems of the party hungry restos and people. We just ordered beer on the nearby Dencios para sa mahaba habang kwentuhan.

We love that we were able to talk and hear each other while enjoying the new bonchon chicken fingers with fries and fish and chips. Another heavenly discovery is the new curry honey mustard dip! Love the taste of this with their chicken and fried things.

Always loved their spicy mayo by the way. Makes everything taste good.

The Crunchy Garlic Chicken is a nice twist on the classic Soy Garlic Bonchon is most known for. The garlic flakes give a nice texture to the meal, and enhance the flavor for those who want a little more zing. 128521

I think this is the last of my backlogs 9786

What a disappointment. Scalding hot coffee 128541 and cold, tough to cut pieces of chicken served with what seemed like warmed up garlic rice and egg. Grabe. Thankfully it didn't spoil the rest of my morning then. 128528

Heated up some takeout I got last Tuesday. A quick defrosting in the microwave followed by a few minutes in the toaster, and the chicken was as good as freshly-cooked.

I almost slipped!!! Too slippery! There was a warning though.. But I didn't expect that to be too slippery. I was really uber hungry so waiting for 15-20 minutes for the food to arrive didn't help. Surprisingly, there were only 4-5 tables taken so what took them that long? Huhu
