A birthday celebration will never be complete without drinks, especially if you just turned 20 (welcome to the world of the elderly, Marj M )
We ordered a tower of their Salted Caramel flavored beer. I must say, I never thought I'd like the idea of flavored beer until I tasted this one. It was really good and worth the money! For Php 450+, we were able to fill around 8 mugs!
I also like the fact that Bone & Barrel opens their doors to customers 24/7! Seldom have I encountered bistro bars that are open all day.
Also, the waiters were very friendly and accommodating which is a good thing especially for those who like to go chill drinking.
I'd deffo visit them more often. They might be the next go-to chill drink place around Eastwood for me.

Pretty good compared to Rue Bourbon!! Also, the price isn't bad! We ordered the salted caramel beer tower (which was actually a barrel) for 495php, and for 8 and a half glasses, it's already worth it :-) Anyway, belated happy birthday to our bb girl Marj M! Thank you for the treat! We love you! ️

We love to have our lunch here whenever we feel stressed from work, or even just on a normal day. They serve affordable sizzling stuffs that's really good!
I have already tried their Home-made Corned Beef, Fillet Mignon, and Sizzling Bulalo (on the picture). Fillet Mignon is the best pick because it's really sulit for a 300-peso steak. I can't remember exactly how the corned beef was because I tried it a long time ago but it was also good! The Sizzling Bulalo (around 350ish) is heavenly! However, as it says on the menu, it's good for 2-3 persons but I think it's only good for 1-1.5. 1.5 because me and my friend were bitin and we even didn't finish our cup of rice.
P.S. Their gravy is delicious!

To kill time before watching a movie, my friend and I decided to hang here and try a few of their drinks. You can actually ask for taste testers and its FREE! They give you five flavored beers in shot glasses. One was chocolate chip cookie beer that wasn't on the menu but tastes just like it which was super yummy!
A glass costs 85php and I like their salted caramel beer a lot. A little better than Rue's I think. After that I oredered a mojito and it was way too felt like I was drinking pure alcohol or something so had to make them mix up a new one. I recommend their flavored beer menu if you want to try more flavors like strawberry and kiwi.
There aren't much people on the first floor and if there is everyone's watching a basketball game since I think that's what they only show haha. The second floor has a party party vibe. Tried their nachos and it was just okay for me.
A weird thing happened because their power went down as in sa kanila lang so we decided to head out and get some good old roasted beef poutine next door at Rue Bourbon!

A couple of my friends wanted to try bone and barrel's salted caramel beer so we found ourselves here last friday night after we ate somewhere in UP.
it was still 10pm but they ran out of it again (if you read my last review, they were also out of it then). Plus, they were also out of watermelon flavored beer which was what i had last time!
got stuck ordering the kiwi one which actually wasn't pretty bad. But really, they can't keep running out of these things every. single. night.

My family and I had lunch at Bone And Barrel Bistro yesterday. I tried their Roast Beef with garlic rice. What I can say is that their food is good and not too pricey compared to any meat restos out there. I liked what I ate cos the beef is tender and the vegetables are super delicious haha (i think i love it more rather than the meat) But all in all it was good! You guys should try eating here :)
I think this dish costs around 250-300 pesos. I'm not so sure. :)

DONE. WITH. COLLEGE. well, honestly it hasn't even really sunk in yet but wow just the thought that i don't have anymore academic requirements weirds me out! Hi guys! I am officially unemployed. HAHAHAHA
Anyway, we went to bone and barrel for a few drinks. Ended up buying their flavored beer which was what some of my friends have been raving about. It was already 1am so when they told us they ran out of salted caramel beer, we were sad but we kinda understood. We got wildberry, raspberry and watermelon for flavored beers and a bucket of bottled beers. They had this 6 beers + appetizers for 350Php thing so we got that.
The flavored beers were yummy! Pretty similar to pino! The watermelon one was really good!! The raspberry was bordering on medicine tho haha but at 85php it was pretty nice! The appetizer we got were the nachos. The mangos in it were a nice surprise but the crunch to the nachos? Tsk tsk
haha.
Service was pretty good! The servers were super attentive even though we sat upstairs in the al fresco area :)

The saltiest and toughest bulalo I've ever had. A major disappointment.
And yet I gave them three stars instead of the one star that the bulalo deserved. Why? Because the lengua sisig and the tendon saved the meal. The tendon wasn't melt in your mouth as advertised, but pretty damn good. Actually, I like my tendon just a little bit chewy and this got that right.
The bulalo fried rice was good, too.

Half of a pig's face, deep fried (OMG I SWEAR THIS IS SOOO GOOD!!!) , tower nachos, and flavored beer (kiwi, strawberry, and rasperry in photo, but they have more)
Friday late night, and we had the veranda all to ourselves, away from the busy and noisy crowd in bars adjacent. We were a group of 7 looking to unwind and get our drink on, this place definitely offered more.
Service is really good. The experience was something like having personal butlers and yayas who are there at your beck and call.
Good food. Good beer. Good service. Good place. Good job!

With a permanent third wheeler of a toddler that we have when dining out, we normally skip the beer-laden, smoker-friendly al frescos in Eastwood. After the holidays though, the crowd volume suddenly seemed to die down on weekdays, so we took the opportunity to try out this place after "Salted Caramel Beer" caught our eyes from the menu.
First off, service is great; the staff is very proactive & I can only hope they go on this way even when the resto's no longer new. The food was enjoyable, but not as wow-za as I expected. We had the roast beef, which was served in a sizzling plate w/ plenty enough rice. It was nicely cooked & juicy, as was the mignon skewers which was what I enjoyed most (see photo). The serving looked tiny, but it was surprisingly filling enough; they're rolls of beef + cheese + jalapeño + black olive. Hubby also ordered fish & chips, which he described as "nothing out of the ordinary".
Obviously I ended up trying that salted caramel beer, too, & was almost amazed at how the sweet after taste tasted exactly like caramel. Too bad I was already too full to finish the entire mug, but I'd say it's worth the money (although not addicting enough to make me want to come back for it).
