After my cousin who lives in San Pablo told us about this bread, we make it a point to pass by this bakery every time we visit their place.
Pambonete, or Pan de Bonete, or Bonete is the Pinoy version of dinner rolls. It's best eaten when hot. As in, freshly taken out of the oven. 'Yung mapapaso ka paghawak. Tapos mapapaso ka ulit pagkagat.
Sold at two pesos per piece, this is most available, i think (if I remember correctly my aunt's advice) from 2pm to 4pm.
It's a fun merienda while on the road!
