Couldn't get enough of Bono! Visited the Podium branch and got super tempted to try their new flavor - Milo! Super chocolate flavor topped with Milo powder! Perfection for a chocolate lover like me. Super love Bono Gelato!

Bono has always been on point when it comes to creating gelato flavors.

Their Cereal and Milk is my all time favorite - an accurate representation of how it's like for your cereal (cornflakes) to end up drenched in milk, settled at the bottom of your bowl.

Was curious as to how this taho version would taste like. They add arnibal and tapioca pearls to the soy gelato.

Pleasantly surprised to find out that it tastes exactly like taho! Except it's gelato! 128563 The gelato has a sorbet like consistency and is a little sweet when eaten on its own. With the sugar syrup and pearls though, it's exactly like taho.

Good job to the Bono team for coming up with unique flavors!

It has been 2 weeks ago when we visited Bono after our lunch in Podium. I saw this award winning remark on Mango Ube Symphony (P150/scoop) and ordered it. The concoction is made of mango bits with smattering of ube halaya served with wafer. This ice cream is refreshing and not much sweet. Its quite pricey though but worth the try.

First time to try this but unfortunately taho was not available 128546 so I decided to order double chocolate.

#doublechocolate - its a mixture of dark chocolate and chocolate (taste really good)..i like how they put a crunchy waffle on top of the ice cream.

One huge difference that Bono has from its competitors, is that it refuses to put its ice cream out on display. If you want to see what the ice cream looks like, the crew member would have to pull it out from the "Pozzetto Cabinets" in which it is stored in. The Pozzetto cabinets ensure the least amount of air & light contamination while also preserving a constant temperature. Makes sense, doesn't it?Also, if you wanted to know the taste of each flavors, you can ask for a small scoop for free from their crew 128522128077🏻...

Hopefully next time taho will be available na 128556

Gelato fix with mom, sister and tita.

On the table
🔹Milo Dinosaur - gelato was creamy and a bit bitter. It was corny without the malt powder. Loved the texture of the malt powder and gelato together.
🔹Mango Ube Symphony - I was hesitant to try this because I don't eat Ube. I went straight for the yellow part and the mango gelato was absolutely heavenly. You know that they used real sweet Philippine mangoes. I tried some of the purple part and the taste was just subtle.
🔹Cappuccino - as expected there was a slight bitter taste and it wasn't that sweet

Overall, the flavors were great and portions were big. It is best to share as nakakaumay after a while.

P.S. How cute are those extra thin heart shaped crunchy waffle cones for Valentine's Day.

Dessert. It’s something I look forward to in every meal. I love to order a complete course whenever I eat out. I must have an appetizer, a main course, and dessert. No wonder I’m feeling heavy again.

After a hearty Mexican lunch, my friend T and I decided to walk around Podium and burn some calories before heading to Wildflour for some cronuts. But something else caught our eye… Bono Artisanal Gelato.

The cute kiosk at the ground floor is quite eye catching. The clean design and that clear glass encasing the “lab” are so adorable. The names of the flavors were pretty witty too. I had a hard time choosing which one to buy as I was torn between Speculoos and Taho. Eventually, I decided to go for Speculoos as it was tastier.

The price per scoop was pretty expensive too. For a single cup of gelato, it would cost you PHP130. They have a mini though and it cost PHP85 but I find it too small so I ordered single cup. T also ordered a single cup but of Buttered Popcorn flavor.

My scoop is filled with bits of cinnamon biscuits which I truly enjoyed. The smooth creamy gelato and crunchy biscuits made a great contrast.

T’s scoop had actual popcorn on it and it really taste like buttered popcorn. I was amazed with how they managed to do that.

I can’t wait to try the other flavors. Perhaps their famous red velvet on my next visit?

I didn't think I would find the perfect Butterbeer concoction in ice cream form. They really did a great job of harmonizing a buttery flavor with the unmistakable taste of beer (which I think should not be neglected), tinged with a hint of creaminess. Personally, I think the right amount of creaminess does the job of binding the two completely different taste profiles together. The addition of pretzels is a bonus, but does a good job of adding texture and a bit of saltiness to prevent the 'umay' factor (munching on the waffle heart in between spoonfuls of ice cream would be a good idea as well).

I really think it's worth the price, considering every Butterbeer recipe I've tasted (so far) were all letdowns in my opinion. However, be warned that this flavor is not available in all branches. So don't let the chance pass by without trying it when you see it's available. :P

(P.S. I know the picture shows different flavors, sorry for that. I wasn't able to take an individual picture of the Butterbeer ice cream, but in case you would want to know, it's the second from the left. :) )

Went to the pop-up store at Century City yesterday...

Since I rarely get to see #teamclingy, dapat sulitin ang pagka-karen ko!128516

After their Nadai lunch, our Costa Coffee break, and our HITW dinner, we somehow still had room for dessert. We tried to wait in line at Le Petit Soufflé but they were jam-packed. So we went to Bono for their cereal and milk ice cream cookie! 128525

They had a buy 4 get 1 free promo, which we took advantage of. Yummy! The cookie really made the dessert interesting, adding an addictive salty undertone to a not too sweet dessert. A great ending to a whole day pigout with the all-girl gang yesterday!128515

Tried Bono's Cookie Monster Gelato after a disappointing lunch at Blackboard (move on).

It was a combination of two flavors. It was okay.

Brought the kids to The Podium yesterday for the Easter Egg hunt and meet and greet Spongebob. The nice thing about it is it's free of charge128077128077.
When it comes to gelato, Bono is still my no. 1 favorite. Their pistachio is so gooood, nothing has come close so far.
You can buy this limited edition Spongebob tumbler for P140 when you buy any of their gelato and since my kids are big already, I gave it to my friend's daughter and got a hug in return.

I'm loving Bono's Mango Ube Symphony. Their Philippine inspired Gelato specialty truly brings forth flavors and colors of local ingredients transformed into a delightful and festive gelato treat.

I first read about this Flavor as Bono's entry to the Gelato World Tour in Singapore. While I have loved a number of Bono's gelato flavors (Ciocolato, Milo Dinosaur, Speculous, Movie Nights, Taho among others), I was curious to try their special concoction that seeked to showcase Philippine flavors in the Gelato artisanal global market.

What I loved about the Mango Ube Symphony was the sweet flavor of the mango gelato swirled with the yummy ube treat. Bits of chewy dried mangoes soaked in rum added a delightful tropical treat to this flavor. Moreover, the rich yellow-orange hues marbled with deep purple makes this flavor such a festive delight. Texture wise, Bono stuck to its velvety , fine gelato texture that pretty much has won local tastebuds.

I'm not sure if they plan to make this flavor a permanent fixture among their product lines. But while they have it in their branches, I'll be happy having this flavor anytime.

It's always a treat to eat here. The server is nice - accommodating and courteous. And the gelato - delicious! My favorite would have to be the Speculoos; second would have to be the Molten Brownie. Expensive, yes, but it's worth the shot.

If gelato wasn't so expensive I'd choose it over ice cream anytime! And Bono would be on the top of my list - flavors wise128077 Anyway, I got a single scoop of Bananas Foster - Flambeed Bananas plus Salted Caramel! 128076

... Or maybe it's a tie for Bono and Bar Dolci. 128539
