The first Book Museum in Asia is here at my beloved city in Marikina! Located at 127 Dao St. Marikina Heights Marikina City.

Last June 3 Friday, it was a unplanned visit. I've been seeing them on my Facebook page and I immediately asked my daughter around 3pm if she wants to come with me for another adventure. It was a perfect time to go here since few days from that is the school opening and I want my daughter to learn something from this visit. While everyone was busy going to the beach I'd rather have my kids go for educational tour this time before going back to school.

The entrance fee is 100 pesos per head. We sign up and the girl assigned that day is the manager and lucky we are that we had a private tour as there was no other people aside from us that time. There was three buildings on the area. What I love is the art murial which is two months in the making of one of artist in Baguio just by his hands.

Do you want to see the smallest book in the world , or the collection of William Shakespeare and you'll get to know the "Most Travelled Man" in the world. You can find books, literature, materials from other countries in this museum.
There was so many rare artifacts from the Cordillera region that we enjoyed most too. What a lovely collection.

I would not much be a spoiler as I want everyone to get curious and see for yourself about this museum. It's not just a book museum but the story of this well known travelled man, you'll get to know him more when you visit here.

You'll enjoy taking photos also in this museum. A Friday well spent and a must see attraction in Marikina!

Trivia:You will see a big foot inside the museum. This foot symbol has been chosen to characterize the Book Museum. This symbolize the lifestyle of the founder who owns the distinction of having travelled to 273 countries under the Most Travelled list, you'll get to know him more when you visit here, this place is worth visiting.

Life is like a book. Some chapter's sad, some happy, and some exciting. But if you never turn the page, you will never know what the next chapter holds...

So come and visit here.. 128214
