No matter how many beautiful beaches you've seen and been to, admit it. Boracay is still one of the best out there with its powdery sand and perfect swimming shoreline. Plus the love it or hate it convenience of commercial stores nearby.
Royal Park Place is situated at Station 1 smack across the water activities area/tents (if you're visiting this summer). It's the hotel you see with those palm-like trees, although it's really just a decor.
The location is perfect, they have a small entrance from the main road and just walk across the hotel and poof! You're collecting sand in your toes! Location-wise, Royal Park is really a recommended place to stay. Now let's go inside the room.
The room is spacious! The bathroom although quite old is also spacious. I'm not sure why it took up a lot of space but I'm not complaining because the water heater works and the toilet flushes without a problem. The room has the basic amenities - the refrigerator, the cabinets, chairs and table, dresser, nightlamps, comfy pillows, and cable tv with a lot of channels for a variety of languages.
The wifi only works in the lobby but why would you spend time using the internet when you have the whole beach in front of you?! Okay. One hundred instagram posts will do and the receptionist won't mind as they are kind and accommodating.
Let's go to breakfast. Breakfast is not fun and it won't make you look forward to waking up early and fight your hangover. They only have the silog meals - corned beef, bangus, tapa, hotdog, and longganisa - served with fruits and paired with either instant coffee or juice. You're better off eating somewhere but if you're on a budget, this will do.
The rooms btw are priced at around Php3,000++ per night and it's good for 3 people, at least the room we got has this specifications. It's really spacious though! Really tempted to spread out all of my things on the floor or invite some friends to crash, all they need are their sleeping bags or airbeds.
Verdict? This is a recommended place to those looking for a good (read: not exemplary) accommodation with a budget and a priority of the location (beachfront, Station 1).
And oh, considering the water at Station 1 is still the best (vs lumot-water of Stations 2 and 3), you might really want to consider Royal Park.

What I love about this place is their accessibility from the beach and the main road. The rooms are spacious and clean as well as the bathroom, I just hope the water pressure on the shower would improve. They offer a free breakfast which has a very few choices and the taste is just fine. The staffs are very accomadating which made our stay comfortable especially that we have a kid and an elderly with us. Just thinking if I should stay here next time because I can get a 4 star hotel with their room rates already.

Stayed here last Thursday c/o Kuya Winnard the tour guide and got our room on the low season rate of 2500. The room can easily fit 3 people; and this included breakfast. The location is really why we chose to stay here, it's a beachfront property right beside Astoria hotel.
