Bo's Coffee has been around for quite sometime.  Back in the day,  yuppies would usually go to the other coffee shop and ignore Bo's.  Believe me,  i know. I was one of dem snob yuppies.  Whatever voodoo Bo did is hands down admirable as they are considered as one of the go-to coffee shops now.

What i like about Bo is that they use locally sourced coffee beans.  A brand who takes pride in locally grown products.

This marks the second time I visited Bo's.  The spot they occupy is cozy and you wouldn't notice the helter-skelter around you.  Comfy chairs and excellent lighting.

Loose Leaf Tea.  Yass!  The tea is from Da.U.De!  Woo-hoo!  This is a game changer.  I have a reason to visit Bo's often as they carry my favorite tea.

Pour Over French Press.   The barista recommended Matumtum.  This bean hails from South Cotabato.  The coffee is smooth,  a perfect blend of bitter and sour notes.  Perfect for coffee aficionados.

Green Tea Cheesecake.   This is the best dessert I've had this week.  Albeit the subtle green tea taste,  i am head over heels in love with this pastry.  The cheesecake is smooth and is not reeking of glucose.  I want more!!!

If you are tired of the other overpriced coffeehouses,  Bo's is a good option.  They offer quality coffee.  Each cup you buy will support our local farmers.

Can't say much about their coffee as I don't drink the stuff. Breakfast meals are okay. Love their blueberry croissant. 128525. Staff are nice. Place is spacious.

Carbonara is good. The three cheese grilled sandwich is normal.

The moist chocolate cake? Hmmm.. It wasn't as moist as what I expected. But it's not to sweet not to bitter.

Had to let mom rest before she gets full blown tired from walking around. This wasn't as packed as the coffee shop on the other side, making it more peaceful and conducive to relax.

But since dinner's shortly after, i just decided to have a bottle of mango juice, while mom got Southern Escape. She liked it, and I liked mine too. I like this better than the Mango drink on the opposite shop. I like the packaging too. I think it's cute and def handy! 128521

North and South Escape shakes - kinda sounded like our current set-up Mark O 128514 I think I like the South better - whichever has the mango in it.
The mango cake was also good, i love the icing! The sponge cake wasn't as great though.

I just love this place 10084

The pastries was kind-of old, and I think only some of their staff knows how to steep tea- sometimes it's perfect, sometimes the tea tastes burnt (steeped too long).

However, their all day breakfast is amazing- amazing omelette, perfect pancakes and crispy bacon, plus above average coffee.

I've been here for meetings. Well mostly for that. It doesn't have so much to offer on top of a decent venue on a cozy, quiet ambiance. They got a second floor for a more exclusive feel.

The store offers Breakfast but nothing distinct. Their sweets are affordable but lacking yum factor for you to rave and talk about. I got chocolate muffin and their "best selling" Caramel Cheesecake. Oh, they got nice selections of Ice Cream which is probably the most different thing they have from other coffee shops.

At 11PM all the tables in this Cebuano coffee place was occupied. Luckily seats by the bar freed up and we sat here while waiting for our drinks.

Haven't been to Bo's in ages as I'm really not a coffee drinker. We came in here as we just arrived for the last screening of Star Wars and all the stores in BHS-Central were already closed except for Mr. Frank's. We needed coffee because as much as we love the Force, H wanted to make sure we were wide awake for the screening after a long day of work.

Got that pistachio sansrival drink Maureen S wrote about because I do love this nut. Thanks for the reco! It had a lot of chopped pistachios which I nibbled throughout the movie. No buttery flavor which I assumed it would have because it's a sansrival. Wish they blended it more finely. Overall I still liked my non-caffeinated drink. H got a blended peppermint chocknut which he disliked. Yikes, way to sweet. He gave up a quarter of the way. Their holiday drinks are only available in medium cup sizes.

We also got an almond torte which needed more cream in between the layers. It was a bit makunat and I didn't like this so much.

With the volume of people in the shop last night, they needed more people. The baristas were rushing to make orders and it took 20 mins to get our drinks.

Love the new look. Wonder when they renovated. It looks to me like a cross between the new designs of Starbucks and Coffee Bean with all the concrete walls they all use. Love that they support local farmers. They also sell locally grown beans. I remember buying a small jar of alamid/ civet coffee beans years ago at this branch for 600 a bottle.

Killed time around BGC because C5 and EDSA traffic was intense!!! 128553 Anyway, what's new.

Waited for a cab but they won't let anyone ride kasi traffic daw. So I went to Fullybooked first. Then I still can't go home so I tried contacting my workmates and one responded. He said he is just in Ayala so he'll come to rescue me. 128514

We went to Bo's Coffee first because the places isn't crowded. He ordered coffee and I ordered Spam sandwich instead. 9786️ It tasted okay, it was buttery and I just don't like how they cooked the egg. 128529 Look! We spent two hours there talking about office issues. 128562

We were able to leave BGC around 11:30 and the traffic was still intense! 128528 Arrived home around 12:30-ish.

Anyway, thanks Justin J for your time before this. 9786128077

Their Cappuccino looked liked it could use more foam but less milk as it tasted more like a latte
Bacon Pesto was underfulfilling.

But the ambiance makes up for it although some furnishings needs repainting

I gave Honey Dalandan a try..it was sweet..too sweet where my sweet tooth cant even handle it and instantly gave me a sugar rush. I ended up adding more water just to balance the taste.
It was a-okay

and the most difficult cake to eat goes to Smore's cake by Bo's coffee..
Dont be deceived by its looks of chocolate ganache, with graham and mallows. Having a hard time to chew them, even worse to swallow. Just not my kind of cake.
I complained to the staff and in their defense, they are soo nice to accommodate my request to replace with a super moist chocolate cake.
I shouldve gave them 1 star for a bad cake but 3 stars for the service. Thanks Mr Barista!

I always overlook Bo's Coffee to the other coffee giants. Being at High Street where Coffee Bean and Starbucks are always loud and crowded, I wanted to try something different and local.

This is actually my first time to try Bo's. I hear stories that in Cebu, they are more popular than Starbucks. But what really impresses me is their exclusive use of Arabica Coffee grown here in the Philippines. I also love the "Old Spanish-Pinoy" interior design of their shop. Very nationalistic indeed. 128513

So I ordered their large White Chocolate coffee on Ice (P155). I was tempted to order their chocolate caramel covered apple on a stick but it looked like a hassle to eat. Next time! 128540

I really really liked it! It was a perfect blend of sweetness with a slight caffeine kick. Another thing that pleases me is atmosphere and vibe of their place. It didn't feel loud and stuffy like the other coffee joints. This one felt like a library but with drinks. It was THAT quiet and serious. Just the way I like it.

I am totally coming back to try something else! 128525
