My first experience at Boulangerie 22 at Greenfield District was impeccable. But not so the second time around.

It was hot inside; obviously they had to fix their air conditioning unit. I wanted to order their matcha frappe but I was told that they had no ice for today. Magda-dine-in pa naman sana ako.

Their newest Matcha S'mores Cookie -- it cost Php65 I think. I just bought the cookie since their frappes were not yet available and ate it at nearby Gong Cha instead (where I ordered their matcha milk tea).

The cookie was OK... there was definitely a hint of the matcha but it wasn't as chewy as advertised. I ate more than half of the cookie (it was so big) because I decided to heat it on the oven toaster to see if it would become chewy.

Still, it came out hard. But I loved the marshmallow inside it -- it became a lot more gooey after I took it out of the oven toaster.

Kind of disappointed but I still love Boulangerie 22 nonetheless.

I was passing by Greenfield District one lazy night and I got curious with this little bread store. I love breads and from the outside, they seemed to be serving delicious breads, so I decided to check it out.

Boulangerie 22 has been known for their breads, rolls and cakes. Aside from that, they’re also serving some entrees (but not in this branch), iced-blended drinks, and coffee. This little branch in Greenfield are mostly on the to-go selection of pastries.

My eyes were wandering because everything looks good and interesting. I first stumbled on the Hokkaido milk rolls, so I got a pack of 10 priced at PHP129. Then the crew (or maybe the patisserie) suggested to try one of their loaf breads which is the Holy Cheesus priced at PHP149.

Hokkaido Milk rolls are good. The smell of it is truly addicting/addictibe, and the taste is delightful to the palate. It’s not that sweet which could be perfectly paired with brewed coffee or spread some butter on it, or just eat it by itself.

The Holy Cheesus is made of 3-cheese goodness with milky and buttery goodness filling. This one’s not that sweet as well and is more of being “cheezy” than being “milky” which I wouldn’t mind at all because this one’s good.

My parents had also tried it and loved them both especially the Holy cheeses bread loaf.

Now thinking of going back to this place to try the other Cheesus goodness from their selection.

A new French patisserie recently popped up and it’s near our restaurant. So upon discovering them in social media, I rushed in and tried at least 4 of their best sellers.

Interesting part is a 50% corner for breads that only have 3 days left shelf time. I don’t mind. So I opted for it and got three from that side.

Japanese Custard Cheese was best. I love the creaminess and sweet filled flavor. I also had nice Chocolate Dulce de Leche and Peanut Butter Crumble. The latter had a nice crust on top and hidden under is a nutty texture of peanut butter. Must have. All breads were soft, not the chewy kind.

I went for their Chocolate Macaroon too while I wait for my breads to heat up. It was fairly impressive for Php 39 each. Just the right crunch with sweets inside.

They have an abundance of cakes and even crafted ones. Coffee is also available below Php 100.

ATM. Stormy morning, but it doesn't stop me from availing their "Buy One, Take One" frappe promo. Get 2 of any of their frappes for only ₱99.

You have only this day (they have this promo pala every Fridays this month, but this is going to be the last day), to get this great treat! 128522

I also ordered one of their set meals: Hungarian Sausage & Mozzarella Bread + caffe Americano for only ₱99. Heck this is a lot better (and cheaper and definitely more satisfying) than the Coffee Pairings set meal at Krispy Kreme that I had yesterday. There's some creaminess in the bread which I like, so it's not dry.

Their baked goods are also ridiculously affordable. Loaves as low as ₱79, breads priced less than ₱60, macarons as low as ₱39. Cakes are pretty affordable too. How come didn't I know this place before?!? 🤔128514 kala ko mahal ang Boulangerie (which means "bakery" pala in French), hindi pala. I was misled by the high-falutin, sosyal-sounding French name, but I'm glad I checked this out. Customer service is also good. 128522 I think I found another bread paradise... #cheapeats

My friend gave me an early birthday present... A cake!

How can I eat this cake?

This is too cute that I don't want to destroy it. I am about to slice it but I can't. I put it back in the box and refrigerate.

Hay! 128542 #ChocolateMousse

Buy 1 Take 1 Frappes for as low as P129 extended until end of March!

Greentea Frappe - smooth, not as creamy, but this cup saved my night during traffic from Shaw to Pasig.
