The food was good especially the ribs. The nachos have a lot of toppings. I just wish they added more sauce to it. The only problem was we suffered from severe stomachache after the visit.

We were at Lilac and decided to give this place a try since I was also craving for ribs. The place was quite full when we arrived. We were lucky enough to spot an available table for the two of us. The ribs is well-marinated with its sauce. I can say that you get what you pay for. For me, it tasted 50-50. Sakto lang. Haha!

Ribs became a crowd favorite ever since the popularity of Rub Ribs, Tomahawk and other ribs place that made the delectable piece of savory meat accessible to people with limited food budget. And with its popularity came other food joints and one of the later players is Brad & Pit’s Ribshack.

Hello, Brad & Pit’s Ribshack!

The place was quite full when we arrived and I was thinking how our big party will fit in the restaurant. As I follow the others roam around the restaurant, we were surprised that there’s another dining area at the back of the restaurant. This area actually serves as a private function area for small parties.

As we marvel over the vinyl cover displays, plate after plate of delectable dishes were placed on the long dark table. Dishes served were the following: Mount Nachos (PHP195), Dynamite Sticks (PHP165), Wings (PHP220, small), Taco Sticks (PHP165), Original Rib Mountain (PHP245, small—good for 2 pax), Cubano (PHP135), Steak Combo (PHP225), Blueberry Cheesecake (PHP145), Brownies ala mode (PHP120), Chocolate Milkshake (PHP135) and Cucumber Shake (PHP95).

This was our Marikina food crawl’s fifth stop so most of us were already itching to crawl to bed; but with these mouthwatering dishes before us, how could we?

I first sampled Brad & Pit’s famous ribs and it was pretty good. The meat was very soft and well marinated with its sweet barbecue sauce. I bet it would have tasted even better with the sides but I had to skip those to be able to try the other dishes.

I didn’t try the wings as I was told that it was quite spicy. My tolerance for spicy food is low. And by low, I mean very low.

I also skipped the Dynamite Sticks as the word dynamite scared me. But I got to try the Taco Sticks and I liked it. Brad & Pit used ribs too in their tacos hence each bite was very meaty and packed with flavor. Actually, they also use ribs in their sandwiches and tacos.

Speaking of sandwiches, I had a bite of their cubano and it was pretty good too. It was your simple Cuban sandwich with grilled pork and sweet ham swimming in barbecue sauce and stuffed in between two crisp baguettes. Though I’ve had better, at PHP135, this one is not bad at all!

I wasn’t able to try the nachos but I heard that it was pretty good and flavorful too!

We didn’t get to enjoy the steak at its best as it already turned cold when we had a bite. It was a bit tough but tasty. But if I were to order, I’d stick with ribs.

The desserts were the highlights of the night as no other stop prior to this one served sweet treats. I loved both blueberry cheesecake and brownies ala mode.

The texture of the blueberry cheesecake was pretty good and I liked the slight tangy and cheesy taste of it which was well complemented by the blueberries.

The brownies ala mode on the other hand was chocolatey goodness without being overwhelming. It was thick but not cloying. And topping it with ice cream was simply divine.

I wasn’t able to get a sip of the chocolate milkshake but just looking at how others enjoyed it, it must be good. I always believe that nothing beats simple milkshakes.

I liked the cucumber shake as it was refreshing and not very sweet which helped quench my thirst.

Overall, it was a pleasant visit at Brad & Pit’s Ribshack. I will definitely visit its Kapitolyo branch soon for more ribs!

Brad and Pit's - an old Kapitolyo favourite, now in Marikina.

I was lucky enough to try their best sellers one weekend: Original Ribs, Dynamitas, Nachos with Pulled Pork, Carribean Chickem, Ribs Cubanos, and desserts.

I really liked the melt-in-you-mouth ribs with the sweet-tangy sauce. The meat was very tender and smokey. The dynamitas were hot, but i wish they didn't put pork in it; but that's just my personal preference. The nachos with pulled pork was perfect for a barkada night out - really liked that the nacho chips stayed crisp for a VERY long time.

Their drinks are pretty awesome too. The best and more refreshing one for me was the cucumber shake. It did a great job of cleansing the palette after eating all the meat.

Unfortunately, they don't serve alcohol at this branch. If you want cocktails, visit Brad and Pit's in Kapitolyo.

I am residing a few blocks away from Lilac St and of course I want to visit all the food establishments located in this area of SSS Village but every time I will start there's a new one opening.

The journey to Lilac St continues.... with Brad and Pit's Ribshack located just beside the bridge that connects Soliven and Lilac Streets. The name of the resto indicates that ribs is what they serve best so I have high expectation. My son and I had Rib Meal, Nachos, Mug in can, bottled Iced Tea and Rib with Pomodoro pasta for Php630.

Nachos - nacho chips topped with liquified cheese, jalapeño, sweet bbq sauce, and rib strips.

A bit sweet, but nakakaumay especially if you already ordered rib for the main course.

Rib with Pomodoro - the rib lacks the smokey smell and taste, parang pinalambot sa pressure cooker. The meat is fully covered with bbq sauce, looks juicy but when you cut the meat its a bit dry; the Pomodoro is too maasim which I don't liked, but the garlic bread is fine with me.

I also liked the resto's theme and friendly staffs.

Creamy alfredo with baby back ribs, well the food is ok, it has a sweetness and a kick of spicyness in their baby back ribs, the creamy alfredo has a common taste i mean no special ingredients that you can say WOW! Haha

The place is good, you can read quotable quotes around their ceiling, there were old toys and gadgets that takes you to the old times.

The price is fine, because for P150 you already have baby backribs like no others 9786️. The experience was good since me and my friend was tired that time and were looking for a great food and nice ambiance and we found that in BRAD and PITS RIBSHACK

Decided to try out Spot"s places to eat in Marikina. I had the spicy ribs. I may be wrong but it seems like the ribs were precooked in liquid before being grilled. It lacked the smokiness of bbq. It was good, place was packed with people. Ribs were not fatty. Hot sauce is gravy with some fresh ground chili. I would go back, if I were in the area.

I'm really a fan of baby back ribs. When I read about this resto with its price, I immediately want to try this. We ordered their original combo, spicy barby and rib mountain with original flavor. I like it but I was expecting a little bit more. Maybe for its price of 149php for a meal it's fine. I just like the design of their resto. Full of designs, vinyl, quotes written in their wall using chalks and some vintage collections. It was good but I was just expecting too much. If you want to try good baby back ribs with cheap price you can try this. Good thing was, it's pay as you order. No hassle for billing out.

Ordered original rib combo, 2 pcs ribs served with rice and corn and carrots. For me good ribs mean smoky, sweet and tangy sauce with fall off the bone pork tenderness. I can say that the ribs here are good but could be better. It lacks the smokiness my palette longs for and the sauce is a little bit too wet. But nonetheless I was satisfied specially with the price and ambience of the place. Would recommend this place to people visiting Lilac in Marikina.

This place offers affordable ribs with ample servings. We ordered the original ribs combo for just P150 and the 6 pcs carribean wings for P200. We are very big fans of hole in the wall kinds of restaurants specially when they don't compromise the quality just because it's cheap.

The ribs were soft and juicy that fall off the bone. Tastewise it had just the right amount of sweetness to it and I liked how they served alot of sauce. The wings were a bit too sweet for us, but the honey mustard dip was pretty good.

It was our first time to explore around Lilac St. and our first experience here was definitely a good one. We're definitely coming back to discover more hidden gems such as Brad and Pit's Ribshack128522

Had the ribs solo for lunch. Sakto lang. I was expecting to get fall-off-the-bone mean but nope. The meat has this pan-seared texture, unlike Rub Ribs' or Big D's.

While I was not so happy with their ribs, their Cubano sandwich is worth coming back for.

Our 4th stop of our family long weekend Foodtrip. Back to our favorite street in Marikina, Lilac Street and decided to have our dinner here

Another hidden gem in Marikina. After so many attempts on going to this place, finally we got the chance to dine because finally we got a parking slot. They only have limited parking slot here and the resto is always full especially at night.

Hindi si Brad Pit ang may ari according to their staff. I thought si Brad Pit coz I think he lives in Marikina too. The place was small but offer a very affordable Ribs. We got their original combo, back ribs with corn and carrots as side dish then plain rice. 150 pesos for a very affordable backribs.

They were featured already on some tv food show. Some are coming from Paranaque just to try their ribs. I saw also on their wall the Looloo symbol Peanut D. Please write us on Looloo, they said. Always happy to see looloo icon whenever I'm visiting a resto128522

Include this on your Marikina food buckelist127860

Open daily from 12pm to 10pm
