Are all cashiers here slow and stupid? Also, they just smile at foreigners.

It's time for "Spring in the City"!

Surprisingly good! Was curious when I first saw the title and there were no Fire Floss at the moment.

Breadtalk, it's been love at first bite.

Since my 16 days of living in the Philippines, I have probably had a Qbread (coconut) on 14 of those days. Thank god they have a location at both Aura and Market Market, so that it's in close proximity to whichever direction I may happen to be in.

I love bread talk. My boyfriend surprises me with breadtalk on rainy days, bad days, and whatever days. He's a keeper.

Was feeling really stressed today so after work, I went straight to Dakasi at Market! Market! To get my milk tea fix. Was in the mood for carbs, too, so I dropped by Bread Talk to buy dinner.

I got the usual: Get Cheesy! Mini Cheese Boats, and a Parmesan Sausage Roll (Don't worry, I didn't buy all of that for tonight; I bought a lot for my baon this week hehe). I was about to pay but I was intrigued by a kind of bread I've never seen before: the Konichikuwa (as seen in the picture. Grabbed the pic from Google because I was too hungry and depressed to remember to take a photo before devouring it haha!).

I'm so glad I bought it because the Konichikuwa is AMAZING. So yummy!!! I researched and found out that it's topped with chikuwa bits. Chikuwa is a Japanese processed meat made of fish. It's funny, when I was eating it, it didn't taste like fish to me. Or maybe the taste was masked by the yummy drizzle of Japanese mayo. 128523

In any case, I enjoyed the bread and I wish I bought more than 1 piece. 128542 Will definitely be back for more!

Honestly I don't know what are the names of them critters, I know one has a blueberry filling, I think another one has sausage on it.

Breads are bland but that's the way I like it...so four stars for them.

Just one rant from me, I don't care if they wipe, swipe, wash their trays with disinfectant behind the counter but I still prefer my tray with disposable wax paper.

Since its Friday and weather is chilly, giving them 4 stars...

TGIF...

HATE it when they taped a paper on the socket to prevet customers from plugging their gagdets. seriously, this time and age? coffee and hot choco are good but since they are shooing away clients who'd love to play gadgets over coffee, this shop is merely good for breads-to-go and nothin more.
