Had breakfast here this morning they were open 7am - 10pm daily. First time here and it's Sunday today so we came early cause every weekends this place is full. since we had dinner one night in cafe Juanita it was sumptuous so we give it a try. Price is a little bit lower than cafe Juanita. Hubby ordered Filipino breakfast sampler its so "bitin" for him and maybe for me too the name fits for its serving. 1pc asohos daing Na maliit, 2pcs small danggit, 1pc espada daing masarap naman, 1pc beef tapa according to their menu "angus" daw but I think not, 1pc homemade salted longganisa infairness masarap ha, 1pc small thin tinapa and 1pc sunny side up egg with garlic rice its 390. I ordered arroz caldo, ok naman small serving with shredded toppings, dice size of chicken breast, shredded cuttlefish daing its 115 for small bowl. u may request for additional hard boiled egg with additional fee of course! It was ok, food is ok good to know but I don't think I'll be coming back I find it quite expensive for their choice of food and servings, I prefer cafe Juanita food there is a real deal. I just like their "burloloy" motif even with cafe Juanita i remember my grandma's house in pangasinan full of burloloys and memories.

I finally decided to try Breakfast at Juanita's and I invited some of friends to come with me. I've seen the place a few times since we often eat at Cafe Juanita's beside it. Comparing the foods, I was quite disappointed. I didn't like their carbonara. Nothing was exceptional. I loved carbonara so I always make sure to order it every time available.

We also tried their all meaty pizza and I would say it saved the day. The prize was good for only Php200++ and the pizza was tasty enough. I rarely eat pizza but I liked it.

Unfortunately, their tapa also didn't pass our expectations. Just merely looking at it, one can already tell. Good thing they are also serving my favorite cake which I discovered from Cafe Juanita. The decadent cake! One of the best cakes ever!

All in all, I would safe it is safer to have coffee tea and pastries here than having a full meal. Still, this is one of my go to places for breakfast. The place will always be known for its vintage and extravagant interiors. The place is surely to be loved!

If you're looking for a resto with appealing and nice interiors along with good food at reasonable prices, check this one out!

We visited on a weekend and the resto's not jampacked. We ordered their Cafe Juanita Pizza, Pasta in Cream Sauce with Truffle Oil & Baby Back Ribs (not in the photo).

The pizza's thin crust was really crunchy. Best to eat once served! The pasta was cooked really well and the mixture of the cream and truffle oil was so good! The Baby Back Ribs at its introductory price of 390php can be shared by 2 pax, its sweetness and spiciness altogether will make you crave for more!

The combination of the Fettucini with Parma Ham in Truffle Oil Sauce & Juanita Pizza was a good choice! The creaminess of the sauce paired with the noodles that were cooked right tasted so well. The crispness of the crust with the toppings tasted so delicious too!

I like the ambience of the place and the service! It's so homey with all the furniture and music. Special mention to their waiter Joel for taking care of us during our first visit!

I ordered the crispy corned beef and my Tita had the US Beef Tapa... I'm not the biggest fan of Filipino breakfast dishes so I ended up with the corned beef. Breakfast at Juanita decided to shake things up by turning the corned beef into a patty. At first I thought... Ito lang yung corned beef? But then I sliced open the omelette and found that the rest of the corned beef was there 128514128514 The corned beef wasn't anything special except for the presentation. I like how the kamatis they served goes well with breakfast.

I tried the US beef tapa but I didn't like it because it tasted like longganisa. Plus, I have this love for Tapa King that makes me biased 128514 I love how the serving of the tapa is big. I could easily see myself wolfing down three cups of rice if it didn't taste like longganisa.

Overall, our experience here was excellent. The staff was attentive, interior and ambience is nice. I'd definitely return for their lunch and dinner food... Not so much the breakfast because it's quite limited. 128517

Didn't go here myself... This is in behalf of how they treated my parents, aunt and uncle when they ate here two weeks back... I'd give a zero if it were possible.

They chanced upon an iPad, which was left behind by the customer who previously occupied the table. They were the ones who brought it to the attention of the staff. The waiter insisted that they just leave the device there. My dad refused, left his number with the staff so that just in case the owner calls, he/she can reach him. They didn't want to leave the item with the staff and preferred to go thru all the trouble of coming back to the resto to make sure that the iPad was returned to none other than the owner.

The resto was apparently calling my dad a few hours after, but he was in a meeting and was unable to answer the phone immediately. He called back and set a time wherein he could return the iPad. When my dad and the rest went back to the resto, the manager was very accusatory about their unanswered calls. They insinuated that my dad was trying to steal the iPad... Please kindly look at the number of reviews I've made and take note that I am a doctor... I was never granted any form of scholarship during college or med school... So excuse me if we all felt insulted at that insinuation. I don't think my dad needs to steal an iPad. He has one, my mom has one, I have one, and my brother has one. Remember, he was the one who brought it to the staff's attention and left his contact number... If he wanted to steal the iPad, why even tell the staff? Seriously? Where is the logic here?! Sheesh, he's a senior citizen for crying out loud!

The staff then wanted my dad to fill up a form of release of the misplaced item and file an incident report. But, my dad never handed over the item to the staff. And he wasn't waiting around all day for the phone to ring. He inconvenienced himself to do what he felt was right. Why inconvenience him some more?! What's the point exactly?! Kindly hold the accusations at someone who was just trying to be decent.

My dad is unbelievably nice. He was able to let it go. Believe me, I wouldn't have been as forgiving. There would have been hell to pay. Good thing, my mom and aunt were outraged and gave the staff a piece of their mind.

So please, kindly improve your customer relations and training of the entire staff. They desperately need it. Too bad manners and respect for others cannot be taught.

It's such a cynical world we live in if we can't even recognize a good deed when we see one...

This is the tamer and laid back version of Cafe Juanita. It opens early and serves breakfast the entire day. I was able to try the liempo with poached egg and fried rice the first time I went there and it was pretty decent. When I came back the second time, I sampled a number of their specialties. The snapper was delicious. The baby back ribs and the crispy pata were average though. What i like the most however is that one can order and enjoy their favorites from Cafe Juanita which just right next door without having to deal with the full house crowd the other restaurant attracts daily.
