Due to (positive) blogs about this place, my son and I tried having our dinner here once (around Feb 2016). I had bangus meal and Cy had their tapsi. There's nothing extra ordinary with their dish, except of course the curiousity that we had due to the media hype, and the place was picking up followers on social media. For the taste of their food, I'd rate it as expensive. It's just not match. The place is too small and smoke is all over the place. For their waffles, it was just too plain. Thanks to food coloring128561, these waffles looked good. Also, I needed to follow up our orders. For me, its enough that I satisfied my curiousity but wont consider coming back here anytime soon.

All day breakfast Daing na Bangus is good. Price is really cheap, you get what you pay for. The mango waffle however was too sweet and the toppings were kinda messy. And the hotdog is generic

The place is very small to say the least. They probably have less than 10 tables which means waiting to be seated long than a average restaurant.

The food was, how should I say this, diabetes inducing. Of the many waffles that we ordered all of them tasted like sugar coated whatever flavor you ordered.

Value for money was ok. Price range was between 100 to 200 pesos only but be warned, you get what you pay for.

It was a quaint little cafe on the outskirts of UST, just a few blocks away from the hospital. We arrived a little early, so we waited in a nearby convenience store. When they finally opened, we ordered their pork belly breakfast and daing na bangus breakfast. Both of them have scrambled eggs on the side. Then for "dessert", we ordered their Banana Nutella Waffles. The food was so-so. Their service time was very fast though due to the limited number of tables inside. The price is very reasonable. Will definitely try this joint again: maybe with their black waffles with almonds ;) 12851410084128514

Had dinner at Brinner with my friends some time this week. Absolutely loved it. I ordered their bacon and eggs and also a side order of waffles (not in photo). I honestly wasn't expecting to like it so much but I loved it. They cooked my eggs just the way I liked them! Their bacon wasn't crispy, which disappoints me but I feel like you can ask them to make it crispy for you if you want.

Their waffles are worth it. 30 bucks for the equivalent of like half of a Pancake House waffle? Might be even more because the waffles are super fluffy. Anyway, worth it. They also have flavored waffles, something to try next time we have dinner here!

Yes, it was good enough that there will be a next time.

*Haha sorry my photo's from Snapchat

Photo credit to the owner. I wasn't able to bring my phone when i ate here because I really did not expect that.... WALA NG LINYA!! 127881

When this restaurant brought noise to social media, I immediately told my sister that we need to eat here the next day. But then, there was a long line of people waiting so we had to go back next time. Soon enough, we tried but we failed and we promised ourselves that we will try Brinner after the hype.

True to our words, the hype ended. Better late than never? I guess. But I think the best sentence/ phrase that I could think of in that moment, "BUTI NALANG HINDI AKO PUMILA DATI, KASI SAYANG"

The concept is good, the interior was nice but the food is bad. For me, an all day breakfast restaurant should serve good tasting food especially TAPA. Imo, Tapa= best breakfast food or if you don't like tapa, BACON = second best breakfast food. I repeat, this applies for me only 1285141285149996🏼️

What I got is a sad tasting pork tapa which is oily and saucy and tastes sweet not salty. My sister got a safe bet which is SPAM with rice and egg. She said there is nothing special with her order and it was served late.

We also ordered an additional waffle which is actually good but not that special.

Hopefully, this restaurant would redeem itself and should serve beef tapa. Hahahahahhaahhaha 9996🏼️

Well this is my time to rant out on them. First we needed to wait outside because people are still inside. They said we are 6th in line but the thing is I was counting and that we were not 6th it was like we are 10th from the line. After an HOUR of waiting, we finally got in the place and really we still needed to wait for the food to be cooked we thought that when we reserved a seat and they asked for our orders it would be prepared already when we are sitted but nooooooo we waited for another 30mins before the food was served. Rating the food, the bacon was not even that tender, the rice was very oily so it was definitely frustrating on our end to wait for that kind of food.

So lets go on the good part of the review, the good thing about it is the place it was nice though its small and only have few seats (no wonder the waiting time was long) ). The only food we liked was the cerials coco crunch with milk (who wouldn't like coco crunch).

All in all though the food wasn't that expensive it was definitely not worth the wait.

I'm going to give them a low rating this time because:

1. They say they open at 12nn but their chef arrived late so my sister and her boyfriend has to wait outside. I was not able to dine with them since I have to go back to work. I asked my sister to buy me waffles and just bring them to me.
2. i wanter strawberry waffles but they were out of stock so my sister ordered creamy cheese waffles instead but they were also out of stock. I ended up with red velvet waffles.
3. In the menu, it said it has cream cheese on top and chocolate syrup. I got dark brown waffles with lots of chocolate syrup and a few to almost non-existent cream cheese which made me sad. I ordered that specifically for the cream cheese. Sad sad day.

But! Would be back. I haven't lost my faith on them yet. 150 words na ba to?

The general atmosphere of the place is really pleasing. I really loved their interior and their aesthetics. Where they put their menu is really smart. The only problem we had was we waiting outside because their chef hasn't arrived yet and it was 12:15 in the noon, so the sun was giving fire to our hunger. It was worth it anyways when we started to drink their iced tea. It settled the mood of the food we were going to eat. My boyfriend ordered the Chicken Sandwich (60 Php) and I ordered Chocolate Chip Waffles (110 Php)--and the payment is really worthy because you get to have four waffles filled with chocolate syrup and a adequate amount of whipped cream. I would've rated this 5-stars if they had what I wanted from the menu (some of their items in their menu weren't available and that made me sad, me and my boyfriend kind of wanted Bacon and Eggs waffle and sandwich, respectively).

‼️No pictures because we took the food to go and it looked like shit when we got home.‼️

Place
- was small but cute with a hipster feel. Very limited seats, we came in early so we were able to get seated as soon as we got there. 6 tables only, when they're filled, they turn away customers or ask them to wait outside because there is no waiting area.

Atmosphere
- if you think that like other cafes, it's a spot thats good for studying or just generally doing work, it's not. It was loud. The music mixed with the high pitched barking of a puppy at the counter and the babbles that gained momentum the longer it gets, the environment drops. Unless thats the kind of thing you like, go for it. Cafe UK in P.Noval has better atmosphere for working, in my opinion.

Service
- was so bad. It might have just been because I was hungry and irritable but the constant 'wait lang po ah' whenever we called a server grated on my nerves.
19 customers, 6 tables, 5 crews outside, don't know in the kitchen - but it took a total of over 40 minutes for our orders (2 dishes only) to be complete.

Canceled my order because it was over 40mins and my order still wasn't there. The servers were rude as I followed up my order and pointed out that customers that came after us had their food served already. I was told that they assumed the waffles would be served last even though we ordered two dishes (and we were two people) so they did not make my dish ASAP. This made me angrier and instead of apologizing, the server gave us attitude instead. I would have let it slide if only they apologized. I did not speak up or nag with follow ups but when the 40min mark came, I had enough. I was ready to leave and cancelled the waffles but server gave more attitude then a minute later came to tell me that the waffles were cooked. I said i already cancelled but they insisted so I took our orders to go just so I could be done with the place.

Food
- I ordered the strawberry and cream waffles with a side of bacon (additional). I requested it to be crispy, was served soggy and tough. Strawberry compote was more like jam than compote! The waffles itself were pale and bread-like. Boo!

My friend went for the 'create your own breakfast': corned beef with hash, bacon, garlic rice.
Corned beef tasted fine. Probably because it was the canned good type, I'm guessing purefoods brand. Bacon, despite its state, is still bacon and it was good.

Final verdict: All in all, I HATED IT, will not come back here. Better food and service can be found elsewhere. I suggest you do the same unless you're in a really tight budget and prepared for shitty service.

The food was ok and its very affordable if you are craving for something to eat especially when its waffle or french toast at night time this is the best place. Only problem is the waiting time just to get in especially during friday night. But overall its good especially some of the staff. :) 128077

BRINNER or Breakfast for Dinner is one of the newest dining place around UST.

Place: It's really small, I guess it can only accomadate 20 persons at a time. And yesterday when I ate their, their aircon is not working and it's REALLY hot inside

Price: 50-110 pesos per meal. It's cheap for it's serving.

Food: My friend and I ordered Pork Tapa, Blueberry and Cream Waffle, Chocolate Chip Buttercream Waffle, Grilled Nutella w/ Marshmallow Sandwich. Food are not that tasty. I was disappointed by the taste of the waffle though it really looks yummy when you see it. But their iced tea really taste good though.

Service Time: 15-20 minutes. I'd say it's quite long for just a waffle.

I would say that the experience is not that good.

My friends and I ordered Banana Nutella Waffle and Cream Cheese Brownie. The waffle tasted good but not that fluffy but for P110 it was loaded. 3-4 people can eat 1 order. The cream cheese brownie was amazing. Service was also good. However, they do not reply or answer calls on the number they gave us.
