We stayed here during our short trip in Bantayan Island.
The place is perfect for budget travellers. We got a big bungalow room that could fit about 15 people inside. It has 5 bunk beds that could fit 2-3 persons on each bed. The bottom portion could actually fit 2 persons without feeling cramped or so. We’re just a group of 10 so it’s spacious enough for all of us and we’re able to play some card games in our little “campfire” inside the room. It also has two bathrooms so there would be no “traffic” while waiting for their turn in using the bathroom. It’s already good but ofcourse, can still be improved.
The location is pretty ideal as our room is near the beachfront. It’s also accessible to some stores for our last minute shopping of needs, and restaurants that serve great but affordable food.
We didn’t get our food from the resort in which I had no idea if they’re serving breakfast or what. They’re also offering island hopping tours but I forgot how much was it.
The beach reminds me of Boracay’s Yapak beach at the very least - sands are quite fine but not as powdery like Yapak’s but still beautiful. The part where the resort is located is called the Sugar beach because of its fine sands. The place is laid-back and I noticed that there are no night parties which is a good thing, at least, to preserve the pristine beauty of the place.
So if you’re visiting Bantayan, I highly suggest this place especially for big groups!

Budyong for budget.
The place was very wide and relaxing. I liked how the rooms/houses/bungalows are far enough from each other. I had one bungalow for my barkada so we were sometimes noisy and it was good that there were no neighbors who complained. We got the second row bungalow. I initially thought it was far for the beach area but it wasn't. I think the third rows bungalows are still okay in terms of distance from the beach.
The room that we got is good for 6pax but we were 7 so we requested for additional mattress. When we got to the room, it's good for 5pax only because there were 2 double beds and 1 single bed. Good thing us girls were small so 1 single bed is enough for us, without movements haha. The bathroom is big and just okay. It can still be improved though.
After a very long trip, we were all excited to eat good food. The restaurant in Budyong Beach Resort has a limited set of food offerings. I assume they don't have a fixed set of menu because the dishes you can order are just listed in two chalk boards. The boards don't even include the price and the inclusions of each meal (i.e. rice, drink). I got "ham and egg" which costs 95 pesos and includes a cup of rice and a cup of instant coffee. You can ask them to cook the egg the way you want it. I requested for scrambled egg but the waiter got our requests mixed up. Overall, the dish was okay.
The beach was so beautiful. It's called Sugar Beach because the sands resemble the size of sugar particles (very minute). At night, there are no lights around the lbeach so I guess it's prohibited to go there during that time. From the resort area, the infamous Sand Bar of Bantayan Island can be and is within a walkable distance.

The place was recommended to me by my boss and I`m glad he did. The place is clean and well-organized. The Villas were placed far from each other since the resort is spacious. They keep the shore clean and you will see the staff cleaning the beach area morning, afternoon and before sunset. If there`s something to improve, I guess their resto. Food is a bit expensive and normal (if you know what I mean); but you will find a lot of food places that serve decent meals around the area so no worries. I highly recommend this Resort if you`re visiting the island. Bantayan Island is LOVE!
