My colleague and i were sick of The usual fast food fare for breakfast. So he suggested we try Bugong's breakfast. A-ha! This is nearer and it looked like a slow day to eat in the resto instead of taking it out.

The Omu rice is P99 and is one cup of fried rice that has sliced sausages inside, topped with a very thin omelette and dressed with barbecue sauce. The meal comes with brewed coffee.

My order was the big breakfast for P148 which was a cup of fried rice topped with fried egg and a sausage. There was diced tomato and green bell peppers on the side. If you mix the veggies with the rice, it tasted better. The meal also came with coffee. I must admit that the coffee made my day.

I would come back to try the omu rice next time.

Ohh the places I discover when I'm #allbymyself

The funny thing is that my office is just nearby so...... Why only now?!?!

I was in the mood for wraps so I had THIS (Poori Pocket), and the Asian Salad Wrap!

Poori Pocket goodness :
Base be veggies I like (cucumber lettuce tomato(!?)) and chicken chunks inside a semi-crunchy wheat pocket! It was good, and very filling for less than 60!

Asian Salad Wrap
This was served cold and it's the first time Ive had cold wraps. (toaster please?!)128560128560128560 nothing special but I must say it's siksik like fatty wraps!

Not for huge groups (who want to dine in)

If you're up for healthy grabs and filling food for less, this is it! Better than sandwich guy (in my opinion)

Looloove,
B

The place is located at Dela Rosa Car Park 1 beside Pancake House (you can't miss it). It's quite small so the place is kinda packed during lunch time (weekdays). I suggest you do take-out or just call for delivery. We usually order here when we have meetings at the office because of their fast delivery service. The chicken here is great. But They seem to increase their prices every year, but hey the food is still under my price range.

And their Quarter Chicken Meal is really "sulit". Had this as our dinner for our team activity today. And everyone seemed to enjoy it. 128522

Breakfasts do not have to be early at Bugong. I have been craving for Bugong's Omu rice but I didn't have the chance to order it as we usually have Bugong's chicken for lunch. 'Twas only last week that I learned that Bugong serves breakfast meals all-day - and I had to ask the cashier as there aren't any ads saying so.

So there - I had my Omu rice (with brewed coffee) a few minutes before noon. Bugong gives customers two choices for the omu rice - chicken and beef. Since this is Bugong, I had to try out the chicken first. As expected, the omu rice is really, really good. While other restaurants scrimp on the main ingredient, Bugong gives out a generous serving of roast chicken - just as I have expected.

What's surprising is how they serve brewed coffee. At this price range (only P95 for the omu rice meal - coffee included), no one in this side of town would give your freshly pressed, brewed coffee. They do serve the coffee press with the meal so you have to press the coffee while savoring the yummy omu rice.

Omu rice plus coffee is 128525128525128525!!!

Bugong just gives surprises with every visit. I'm sure the folk here at Legaspi - Dela Rosa area would appreciate this much!

First time to try out this chicken barbecue here at Bugong. At only P100, the meal includes two chicken barbecue sticks, one generous cup of rice (which I upgraded to kimchi rice), and iced tea!

Bugong does serve good chicken and has instantly became one of my fave lunch places in Makati. I have to agree, this joint can go head to head with those from GB5 at half their price!

Crazy for rice? You should check this place. Together with their roasted you can choose which rice would you like to have.

On the picture is their signature plate which includes the asian pasta. For 113php, you get the what's on the plate and a glass of their house blend iced tea. That's the Thai rice on the picture.

I haven't tried all their dished but I can say that I like how their chicken tastes. :)

Finally got to try out Bugong's Macaroni and Cheese. At only P80, this Mac and Cheese is yummy and sulit.

Bugong's Mac and Cheese comes with thick strips of roasted chicken which Bugong is known for. Macaroni and cheese serving is also very generous and has satisfied my hungry tummy from our very late lunch yesterday.

This Mac and Cheese is truly one of the best in the area at this price range. What more can I ask for? Try it out yourself Nicel S and let me know how it is!

Bugong is near my office. One lunchtime, I ordered chicken with rice and iced tea. It's cheap for P99. Their chicken was roasted. For me, the taste is just fine :) but it's still sulit for P99.

My officemate ordered mac and cheese. It looked delish! But sadly, I didn't taste it :D

Bugong Roast Chicken has indeed improved a lot with its new store here at the Dela Rosa Carpark. Now located in front of The Enterprise, Bugong sports a new, more appealing look and a number of Asian-inspired food choices has been added to their menu. Bugong's roast chicken is now served in a multiplicity of concoctions.

Bugong's Asian fresh noodles has that unique Asian taste (trying to decipher the herb used but sadly, my taste database needs some working out). Noodles are soft and firm, definitely better than others at this price range (got this for only P82 without drinks). Roast chicken strips add more value to this already superb noodle meal. Red bell pepper bits add a little spice to this noodle wonder.

What i really like about this place is that they even have their own herb garden (which you can see from their window) - an awesome approach to interior design. Oh, btw, they do serve one of the best looking red velvet cupcakes (which I haven't tried)...128540
