When one craves while in sobriety, Pinoy comfort foods are what usually come into mind. Bulalo is one way to address it, and this place along the Roces area of QC is one of those to-go joints. Don't be fooled by the shady surroundings, you'll be surprised with the variety of visitors flocking here for their meals.

Affordable and delicious bulalo that's available until 12 midnight. Not the best that I've tried but the clean and cozy ambience makes up for that minor flaw. (The owner is a Vespa enthusiast and has photos plastered all over to prove it.) They have other promising items on the menu as well - gising-gising, grilled pusit and lechon kawali.

Saw this restaurant thru looloo.. Still opened at 11pm. Tried their best seller bulalo. I can rate it as 7 of 10. Not that much of a bulalo taste maybe because there are different combinations of additives. Though they gave me more soup of that. Also tried their pork sisig and fried tilapia. This restaurant is a typical filipino serving dish. I will get back and eat their crispy pata. The place is an open air but with a clean place with good sounds. Worth a try.

We ordered bulalo and sisig. The bulalo was instantly served. It was perfect for tonight's rainy weather. The meat is soft, the vegetables is cooked right, and they were not swimming in oil. I wasn't able to taste the sisig.

The service comes in an instant, possibly because the owner was there. The owner, Sir Alvin, is very accommodating. He is interacting with the diners. He even gave some if us free palitaw for desserts. It was the best palitaw I've tasted, it has a hint of langka and there was a lot of niyog (unlike what you can usually get elsewhere).

It's supposedly a family friendly restaurant but the ambience doesn't reflect as much. nevertheless, I shall return!

Had a very late lunch/super early dinner at Bulalo Republik this afternoon. We got sisig, pinakbet, and dinuguan. That's a lot considering there was just two of us to finish everything, haha!

I'm not a fan of the sisig, but I really loved the dinuguan. Not as good as the one in Kanin Club, but still delicious nonetheless. The pinakbet was good as well. They also gave us each a free bowl of bulalo soup (soooo good btw).

Funny that we went to Bulalo Republik and didn't order bulalo :p On our next visit we'll definitely get their bulalo and try the other dishes as well. If you're looking for a good, affordable Filipino restaurant and not too keen on the interiors and airconditioning (i.e no AC hehe) I recommend Bulalo Republik. Servers are really friendly too which is a plus :)

No need to go to Tagaytay or Batangas for Bulalo Cravings! The steaming flavorful broth, tender beef chunks and huge serving of creamy bone marrow hits the spot! It's the perfect place for post drinking food binges and 'i want bulalo now' moments. Definitely a must try! :) Bulalo Republik is Yuuuuuum!

The bulalo is ok alright for me. There's a unique taste of bayabas-like in the soup.127858 I still prefer the bulalo of timog plaza. im not saying is not good. if you like different approach in bulalo then you have to try this. 128077The presentation of the fried tilapia is like the fried tilapia of Cafe De Bonifacio in Podium. But the tilapia of CDB is more crispier. Im just saying 128516. Im not a fan desserts but we ordered palitaw. Lo and behold, i really enjoyed this treat.128077128077128077Overall I rated this 3 stars. Not bad! Thanks for my friend wilbert in recommending this place. 127881. Oh they are opened till 5am.

I'd have to say the bulalo here is really good. I ordered the solo order of bulalo, but it's actually good enough for two. I would definitely recommend this to everyone.
