We dine at Bulgogi Brothers last Thursday at Greenbelt branch. We ordered bibimbap and meat platter C with unlimited side dishes. The service was slow that it took time to have our sides refilled and the bibimbap was served late. Btw, don't order their galbi or ribs. You'll end up getting mostly bones. I enjoyed their bibimbap. Serving size is good for 2. But their meat platter is pricey for the serving size.

Hello, everyone! I'm such on a Korean-y mood again today so I'm doing another Korean restaurant review. And this time it's for Bulgogi Brothers!

I'm a huge, huge, huuuuge fan of Korean food (especially Bibimbap) but for some reason I've never eaten at this place... like ever. Gasp! I didn't know Bulgogi Brothers was such a good restaurant that serves really good Korean food. Why am I always clueless about the good things? Haha! Just a tip though: their menu is quite limited so there's not a lot of unique options versus the menus of other Korean restaurants out there. But yeah, it's still good!

I had their Chicken Bibimbap (P395) that came with plates of unlimited refillable side dishes. It was also served in a hot stone bowl so plus points for that. I also like that they put the Goju-chang in a separate plate (versus other Korean restaurants that put a serving of Goju-chang with the veggies) so you could adjust the heat of your Bibimbap!

This is, by far, the yummiest and the most colorful Bibimbap I've had in a while. I love that Bulgogi Brothers' Bibimbap has so many things going on in it which makes mixing much more fun! There's lots of vegetables and meat and ahhh, everything's perfect. When the bowl came to our table, I had that intense kilig moment as I saw a huge yolk on top of everything. It's like I wanna break it so I could see the yolk ooze out, but then at the same time I just want to look at it because it's so cute.

The Bibimbap definitely tasted great. It's amazing. I have no idea how I finished that bowl by myself. The side dishes were also delicious and were given to us very generously. I love the cold tea that they serve too – it's delicious and very refreshing.

So why 4 stars?

I guess it's about the not-so-pleasant waiters and their service during our time here. Don't get me wrong, though. The food is absolutely great here. It's fantastic. I just didn't like that they had to ask me twice about my order. And despite telling them twice about it, my receipt still reflected that I ordered a "Bulgogi Bibimbap." I guess it's also my fault for not checking... but then they asked me twice so I don't understand where the error's coming from.

I also didn't like that some of their male waiters are not so pleasant. I wish they'd be more careful and, again, plesant with handing out utensils or stoves to the customers. No one likes hearing "padabog" sounds in a restaurant, right?

Final thoughts.

I'd still give Bulgogi Brothers 11088110881108811088️ stars for their really amazing and well-prepared Korean food. And I'm so happy that there's really delicious Korean food in Greenbelt. I'm definitely going back soon and I'm super hoping that by that time I could give them a 5-star rating already because I honestly think they deserve it.

Awesome!

It was a busy Thursday at work and I was waiting on an e-mail but it took forever!! I ended up having lunch at 2PM 128528 Since I had to go to Strip at Greenbelt 5 to get the tumbler that I left, I passed by Bulgogi Brothers and had a craving for some kimchi jjigae.

Bulgogi Brothers has one of the best kimchi jjigae I've tried in multiple Korean restaurants (including authentic Korean places owned by Koreans). One order is over 400 pesos but it's big enough to share for 2-4 people (but for me, MAX is 3 cos I can eat a lot of this).

Additional rice because you can't eat stew without rice! 10084128077🏼

It's fun to eat alone, you get to eat so many side dishes. 128514 I love their sweet potatoes and the dilis! 128518

I actually didn't finish the whole bowl of that kimchi stew, so I asked for it to be wrapped and brought it back to work. My officemates finished it, because they also love it 128514

Bulgogi Brothers for the first Friday lunch out!

Since we find their meat platters to be quite expensive for the serving size, we opted for sharing some bibimbap, pajeon and kimchi jjigae 128513

KIMCHI JJIGAE [Php 395] ♥️
My ultimate favorite Korean dish. Bulgogi Brothers actually makes this kimchi jjigae pretty well! Some Korean restaurants make their kimchi jjigae so spicy it doesn't have that "stew" taste to it anymore. This one has some small pork slices which can make it a full meal with a cup of rice. 128525

SEAFOOD PANCAKE [Php 450]
My officemate's favorite. 128514 Their pajeon is actually quite thick since it has so much in it! Mussels, shrimp and more. 128077🏼 I'm personally not a fan of seafood but it was good.

BULGOGI BIBIMBAP [Php 395]
We ordered 2 of this for 4 people to share. I liked how they serve this in a hot stone pot with a fresh egg instead of the cooked egg. 128077🏼 I prefer my bibimbap with crispy burnt rice hehehe! But we didn't let it burn so much when we mixed it. This was good. Kept us very full.

ASK FOR THEIR TEA! 128525 We got corn tea and it was pretty good! 128077🏼

One of the favorite places to get my Korean food fix, I have so much love in Bulgogi Brothers. Citibank has a 40% off promotion for a minimum spend of PhP2500, and decided that this would be where our next wine night would be. We got the bottle of red wine for PhP995. Plus ordered the all-time favorite beef brisket bulgogi for PhP495, with lettuce wraps of course. Lakas maka-Korean kaya. My friend fancied the Unyang Style Bulgogi for PhP595 only because of the heart shaped beefy goodness. We were torn between getting the seafood pancake and the Galbi Tang. But since we were getting the wine, we chose the Galbi Tang, the beef ribs soup for PhP595. Good thing we chose this, the beef kinda melts in the mouth.

Value for money... Really poor!

See that plate of beef? It's their BIG GRILL PLATTER worth 1,500++. Doesn't look like it's a lot right? It really isn't. 128546

Good thing we ordered some extra rice, a kimchi stew, and a seafood pancake too. But for 5 people? That wasn't quite enough. We ended up ordering 2 more single orders of beef and another kimchi stew. After the bill was split, roughly over 800 per person. 128557

It's not for those who want to eat a lot, and those on a budget. Definitely. 128517

Saving grace for this visit is the kimchi jigae. 10084️ It's one of my favorites in Korean cuisine so I loved their cook on the kimchi and the spiciness was just right! 128077🏼

Internationally famous, world class commendation from a family friend, we decided to dine here.
Enjoyed every bite of each dish that we ordered. ;)

A bit pricey but the food is worth every penny!

What we had:
Yuja Cha (Citron Tea) -- very refreshing and healthy

Sogogi Beoseot Bokkeum

Bulgogi Brothers Special -- very delicious meat! Cooked just right, beef was tender and sweet

Had a bad case of overeating 128563 so i had the ff:
(1) Seoul style soup - in photo, must-try!! Really good soup base with beef, golden mushroom and squash. I love this and have always been ordering this.
(2) Beef brisket - was just so-so for me.
(3) Jap Chae - freebie when you have the coupon, this one is also very tasty.
(4) ban chan - love their kimchi salad!
Overall, I consider Bulgogi brothers as one of the go-to places in Greenbelt 5, and perhaps my most fave one among Bistro Group's restaurants.

Korean BBQ? I've tried authentic Korean BBQ when we visited S. Korea and it was the best experience so far. So how does Bulgogi Brother compete with the original? Yeah i'd give it 4 stars. Remaining star has to go to the pricey selections. You pay for the experience and taste. I almost died getting full. Lol. It was good death though :)

Got the heart shaped bulgogi and seafood pancake. Both dishes were delicious. Their side dishes were few though - salad, kimchi, sweet potato, and tofu. I was hoping to get more. And the manager wasn't that friendly.

Bibimbap was okay but not as good as the others I've tried.

What I liked was their beef choices- the sirloin type, the burger type and the rib eye. Always enjoy their bbq.

Just a little on the expensive side.

I didn't like it here. The bottom line is it was decent Korean food, but the actual place just felt uninviting and sterile. It just looked functional as a restaurant, so it wasn't appealing as a dinner choice, and once inside, I felt like I was in an odd, dim room I shouldn't be eating in, that, for some reason, still served food.

Bulgogi bibimbap didn't hit the spot. It had many ingredients in it, with a variety of flavor/texture, but I just felt like I was eating to fill myself up, not really to enjoy an eating experience.

The tofu steak.. Eh. The highlight was the bulgogi mound on top. The tofu had good texture but could have gone completely ignored if I didn't know I had purposely ordered a tofu dish.

I cannot articulate exactly how boring this place is as a dining experience. Let me try to end this with good points. It felt clean, the portions were fairly sized, and each dish was made from quality ingredients. The overall result was just underwhelming and I was full, but deeply unsatisfied.

Today was especially good. Their bibimbap lived up to the high pricing (395) today. Wow.
