It's one of those putok-batok bulalo sessions in the early mornings. We went here at around 1:30am this morning with my friend and his girlfriend. Bulalo is always superb in this awesome spot in Kapitolyo. This meal is good for three persons with three rice that come with it. Not to mention the free refill of bulalo sabaw, and 3 1/2 extra rice for only around 600+. Not bad!

What I also enjoy doing here is seeing and reading all the celebritiy and famous people's testimonials or writing on their wall, together with pictures and names. I just wish they had done it better though because it looks a bit trashy. Just my own opinion. 🙂

Definitely going back! No need to head over to Tagaytay and enjoy their finest Bulalo dishes.

Food tasted great although a little pricey.

Bulalo
- very flavorful soup and tender meat

Beef tapa
- I ordered spicy but somehow what they served me wasn't. It's the kind of tapa that's cooked through to make it kinda crunchy/hard. Still yummy nevertheless.

Lechon kawali
- crunchy and very putok sa batok sa sarap 128514

I never thought that there could be a Bulalo place that could match the once in Tagaytay... I was wrong! This little Bulalo house that is tucked in a very busy street near Kapitolyo Pasig is one to go for. What I really love about their Bulalo aside from the superb taste is they have a very generous serving of "utak." You and your friends will not have to fight over the "utak" that everybody loves! If you are lucky, you'll spot some showbiz personalities who also enjoy eating in this place. One thing though, parking can be a challenge but there are nearby streets where you can park your car and just walk towards the restaurant.

The place is for the hardcore bulalo lovers. Their bulalo and asimbull, their version of sinigang na baka is a must try. Can't say much about the other food on their menu.

Don't trust a bulalo joint with serving you a patable veggie dish. Sounds silly but if they were brave enough to list something vegetarian friendly on their menu then to some extent it must be worth enjoying, right? Well, I was proven wrong. The serving was measly, the size of patties smaller than Mc Donald's burgers. And you could still taste the flour/cornstarch. They serve it with ranch dressing which didn't improve the taste. I had to ask for ketchup, Knorr seasoning and hotsauce just so I could finish it. (I don't like to waste food) I will come back for Bulusok and other Bulalo dishes but not for anything else, especially their Veggie patties.

Hangover food. My group enjoyed the P961 group meal. I forgot what we've ordered. Enjoyed the bulalo soup and half glass iced tea. Could not eat that afternoon. Inggit na inggit ako sa kanila kumain. 128533

Beef bulalo is right on the money.... The ambience may not be the best but once you tasted their bulalo special, you may feel like you are in tagaytay. Lechunami which js their take on lechon kawali, is crispy and sinfully delectable :) In short, try this place out especially during the rainy days where they will give you the warmth of their signature bulalo :)

I had high expectations about this resto. I read good reviews on it and after several months of failed attempts, I finally found time to taste their specialty, Bulalo.

We ordered their Bulalo which costs around 250php. The kuya said that the food is good for two. After 15 minutes of waiting, our Bulalo was served in a little bowl which seemed like a viand for one person. Now here's the exciting part, which is tasting the beef. When I dipped my spoon in the bowl, I saw a small cut of beef which is good only for half a tummy. Though, the meat was very tender, I must say. Then I tasted their soup. Gulp, the soup didn't taste meaty/beefy at all!! Uugh!

In short, I finished my meal and left the restaurant with disappointment.
Thus, my trip to Tagaytay the following day to redeem myself from Bullchef's Bulalo failure.

Hangover Lunch!

We ordered PACKAGE C P499
(Good for 2-3) more like 3-4 for me

1 BULLCHEF Special or asimBULL BULALO (we ordered the special, generous soft beef!, few pcs of bone marrow, corn, greens, broth was better than R&J Bulalohan), 1 a-bellyBULL (belly part, not a fan of it's taste tho), 1 Kangkong ni kingkong (generous kangkong but on the sweet side, not a fan also), 3 plain rice, 3 bulalo soup, 3 lemong iced tea

half of kangkong, 3/4 of a-bellyBULL, bulalo broth and veggies were all for take out. We did enjoy the bulalo tho!

No wifi, ample parking space, fast service, 1 cashier/server that day, kitchen staffs (2 tables occupied when we had our lunch)

Asked for BULALO SOUP REFILL it's FREE!

We're supposed to have our lunch at Kanto Freestyle but it's full and 3 people waiting near the gate area, we're happy with BULLCHEF tho! It did not dissapoint.
