Celebrated my 21st birthday here in the bunk. Everything about this place is divine. Hard to find. The old, shady building. The stairs to reach the 8th floor (Yup, no elevator). The wall ala Berlin. The murals. The cool breeze. The stunning sunset happening right in front of you. The twinkling skyline as night hits the city. The good music. The cheap thrills. The overall calm and laidback vibe that we thought wasn't possible in Manila. The bean bags on the floor for stargazing. Just wanna stay here at 2am talking about life and having good times with friends. 127867🏙127756

P.S the old building is in front of PCSO just near starmall shaw blvd

Cool art walls, great view, cheap beer, and no-frills food menu (hello 50-peso kropek!). Everything I like in one place.

Service could definitely improve and you won't quite hear the music with all that loud chatter, but yeah, this place is still worth paying a visit.

I just loved it for all its quirk and weirdness! Hallelujah for places like this!

A good place to chill on a Friday night. But every night is ok, too. 127867 The Bunk is a rooftop bar located in Jovan building along Shaw. It is half covered, so it is better if you go here on a good weather. They have these cool bean bags and hipster lamp lights and mats on the open area and tables and chairs on the covered one. There were bands when we went here so they asked for 150php entrance fee. That includes a free drink though.

The ambiance of this place is pretty cool, you can see the city's skyline and some walls are covered with art. A friend once told me that it is nicer when you get to see the sunset, too.

The service here was a bit slow though. Crew wasn't that attentive. Food were good, I like them. We ordered nachos, sisig and a bucket. We asked for some additional ice, and it came more or less 2 hours later. Haha. They said they run out of it. All other customers were complaining about it also.

And not to mention we got trapped inside the vintage elevator going down for about 10 minutes. The door won't fully open. It was scary! Kaya pala karamihan ng tao nag hagdan that time. Haha. Luckily the guard saw us and asked for help. It's seems ordinary to them na may nattrap inside the elevator. Haha. So tip - take the stairs if wala kang kasamang mag elevator. Lol

Bunk's located inside a not so modern building so it was a scary yet intriguing trip all the way up the rooftop. The interiors of the place gave a hippie vibe with all the artworks on the walls. The chairs, tables and lighting were okay; it looks like how a typical bar would look like.

The service is a bit slow though probably because there is only one waiter serving the whole bar. Maybe they can work on adding more servers because the place gets more crowded as the night deepens.

For the food, I ordered sisig and rum cola. The sisig was good but the rum cola was too strong. I like my rum cola to have that right balance of rum and softdrinks but it felt like it didn't have any cola on it. For people who like rum so much, this might be the perfect drink for you when visiting Bunk.

Got an amazing view of Pasig and Mandaluyong City from up there. It's a chill place to just hang out and have a few drinks with your closest friends. They have snacks also and two rice meals. Very affordable and so chill at night!

This bar just opened last April by a young Filipina girl who studied in Germany. We first found out of this place when we were hunting for a place to celebrate our alumni homecoming celebration for October. We were able to talk to the owner's mother. She showed us the rooftop bar, which was about to open in a few hours. She also told us that her daughter was inspired by the art and culture in Germany that she wanted to bring it here in the Philippines. The place was so cool with a scenic view of Metro Manila. We decided to visit the place again during their Dach's Night last Saturday.

It was rainy that time and only half of the place has roof. So all customers were compressed under the roof. Unfortunately, we were seated at the corner of the place where the wind is very limited. In just a few minutes of staying there we were all sweaty but we were still hopeful that the food and service will compensate for this. We ordered a bucket of beer for (P250), sisig with rice (P200), kropek (P50), and onion rings (P75). Everything was great including the live music that serenaded us. The owners of the place wanted the place to be chill so the bands they invited are acoustic bands and soloists. They do not allow drums. When the rain stopped, we transferred to the open area and it was freezing cold. It was like Tagaytay in Mandaluyong.

However, our experience was not so perfect since the service is quite slow. It took them to 30 mins to bring extra rice and 15 mins for ice. Also, I think the Pay as you Order is so hassle since you have to go to the counter to order while tip-toeing around the mats and bean bags along the way.

This place will surely go a long way with the dedication and effort of the owners. This is also a great place for birthdays, parties and celebrations. They sent us their quotation and believe me when I say that the place is very affordable.

Will surely go back to this place to witness their art battles, acoustic nights, live paintings, and many artsy stuff they offer.
