Hidden restaurant along Ilanin Road going to Ocean Adventure and Camayan Beach Resort. The food was so yum! We ordered the Bunker Bob's Pizza which was topped with lots of veggies and spices. We also ordered Nachos and Seafood Pasta with overflowing seafoods which is good for 2. If you want your food to be spicy, ask for some chili sauce. But beware of its intense level of spicyness. Enjoyed the food! Recommended! 128076128076128076

On our way to Ocean Adventure, we passed a bunker (before) that's now being used as a restaurant. It was passed 12 at that time and we have not eaten breakfast and lunch. We did a U-turn and dined in.

The interior of the restaurant gave us the vibe that the place used to be a military fortification and storehouse to missiles and other weapons during World War. I think we were the only Filipinos eating there at that time hehe.

We ordered their best sellers: 2 Seafood Spaghetti, Carbonara, Bunker Bob's Burger and the Bunker Bob's Pizza.

We played billiards (free) while waiting for our orders.

2 plates of Seafood Spaghetti reached the table first. The pasta was delicious to think I don't usually eat seafood. It has shells, crab meat and prawns.

Bunker Bob's burger was okay. The meat was big but the bun was bigger hehe. We didn't really get to taste the patty until we removed the bun.

Their Carbonara was creamy and delicious. It was a whale of a serving as well.

Bunker Bob's pizza had too many veggies. One can actually do gardening with it hehe. It tasted bland like a salad without dressing.

I went here with my family last Sunday before heading back to Laguna.

Bunker's Bob is a compartment storage for ammunition before turning into a resto. The place looks like a hill from the outside but once inside, it's totally different. You'll immediately notice the camouflage nets in the ceiling, Subic map during the war and old school pictures decorated on their military inspired walls. 128110

Their menu offers American, Spanish, Mexican & Italian dishes 🇺🇸 🇪🇸128131🇮🇹 . We ordered fries, four cheeses pizza and 2 bunkers bob pizza. 127839127829

The fries are not soggy and tasted okay. Although it's something that you can buy in any supermarkets but at least it was serve hot. So sige na nga, pwede na. 128517

Their 4 cheeses pizza, I liked! The combination of crispy thin crust and cheese is wonderful. 128077

But the bunkers bob pizza which is suppose to be their specialty is a let down!128078 They tossed almost everything on this pizza (sausage, anchovies, mozarella, parmigiano cheese, zucchini, tomato, black olives, bell pepper, capers, eggplant, onion and basil) and yet it's unexciting and tasteless. Take note, this place is headed by an Italian chef. I wanted to ask "Cos'è successo Chef?! #Whut!128562
(In tagalog: Anyare Chef? Salamat sa wiki.answer.com Char! 128514)

We asked for ketchup and it was serve in a saucer instead of the usual bottle. Anu yun gagawa ulet kami ng pizza? I find this a bit weird.128529

So yeah, we left this place cheerless. I was suppose to give them 3 stars but then after 20 minutes of driving I saw heaven in the shape of S&R pizza! It's nestled in Puregold building in between shopping outlets that sell discounted clothes and shoes. 128576

We could have gone there instead & added a pizza place to my |ooloo reviews & get the pizza badge! And nakapag-shopping pa dapat ako. Darn it! 128544

Definitely a unique place to eat! Filled with WWII memorabilia, you get a feeling of how living inside a bunker feels like! That said, their food is definitely not Spartan. Try the Red Devil's Bruschetta, Four Cheese Pizza and the Pepperoni Pizza. Delightful thin crust covered with homemade tomato sauce and generous toppings! Free wi-fi to boot!

This place is a little tricky to spot as it camouflages itself as a hill. Though there is a sign, you wouldn't expect a restaurant to be located in such a remote area surrounded by forrest.

The interior is just as interesting as the exterior. There's a military/naval theme that plays throughout the entire room from its camo painted walls to its net covered ceilings. I loved how this place had so much character.

As explained to us by the Italian owners, it used to be a real bunker, a storage for ammunition, which explains why it's so hidden. I guess this also explains why I had absolutely no signal inside for both Sun and Globe.

Other features include free Wifi, a billiards table, a lounge area and a bar.

They offer a variety of food choices: Italian, American, Mexican and Spanish. Their menus were placed on metal slates, again adding character. (upper left corner of picture)

The food was good, nothing amazing. In other words "pwede na" which is why I only gave 4 stars. I think burgers and burritos at Army Navy would be a better pick. I did love the eggplant parmigiana, 4 cheese pizza and the 3 cheese risotto. Portions were big, not a bad idea to share. Plus, it's super affordable.

So yeah, if you're around the Subic area give it a try. 128522
