I was kinda bored spending my rest day at home when I decided to go south. I invited my friend nearby from Laguna and I was glad she came. Luckily, it's Sunday means no traffic going to and from Alabang. I left QC at 3pm and I arrived by 4pm. Living for a few months in Alabang, it quite help me going to my destination. Haha

I'm choosing between Yushoken and Burger Geek but we ended up going to Burger Geek since my friend wasn't a fan of Ramen ( say whuutt? I need to convince her!!!!)

The place was small with it's typical burger joint interiors. What I liked about the place was the Periodic Wall which was cool and nerd. They should add more that kind of theme coz the other corners of the place was boring. No wifi and no power outlet - I'm about to faint because my phone was on the verge of dying which means no picture. Buti na lang pede magpacharge sa loob. I bought time to order so that my phone will have enough battery for food photo-op. Haha

🔹Class President, Umami Corn on the side as an add on.

Potato Bun, Fried Onion Rings, American Cheese, Smash Patty, Lettuce, Tomato, Crispy Bacon, Shiitake Mushroom & BBQ Sauce.

I loved it. Every bite was a burst of flavor inside your mouth. The price was worth it. The bun was soft not sloppy, crispy BACON!, tender and juicy patty and the BBQ sauce was really good. I just confained myself not inishing my burger within 2 minutes. Haha The Umami Corn reminds me of Bad Bird and it's good too.

🔹Staright AES with Fries on the side as add on.

American Cheese, Smashed Patty, Lettuce, Tomato, Shiitake Mushroom, Sauteed Onions and BBQ Sauce

My friend loved it too. Just like the Class president minus the onion rings and bacon. Fries was ok, nothing special about it.

Service was great. Staff were accomodating.

Definitely it's worth a try. My friend will be bringing her brother here soon.

There's a free chicharon or what while waiting for the order.

There's a new burger champion in town and it's called Burger Geek. Located in Molito, Alabang, I finally had the chance to try it out after my friend raved about it so many times.

I ordered the Straight AES which includes their smashed patty, American cheese and caramelized onions. I like my burgers simple because this way, you'll really get to taste the flavor of the meat. And can I just say, wow! The patty was juicy and flavorful. Whatever meat blend they are using, I have to say that I'm impressed. It also helps that the bun they use is soft as a cloud.

There's a lot of burger places popping out these days but there's always that one place that you want to go back to. In the last decade, it was Charlie's. Now, for me, it's Burger Geek. Funny that it's located next to my favorite ramen joint, Yushoken. The decision on where to eat when I'm in Molito just got tougher.

P.S. Don't forget to try their Umami Corn! I'd go back for that too.

Ordered the Geek with a side of umami corn. Interesting take on the corn and half a cob was pretty filling with its Japanese mayo spread. Tasty smashed patty but the bun was easily soggy. Pricey though as that, plus the Class President (with bacon and shiitake mushrooms) and fries was about 700-800.

after braving the traffic, we ended up at our destination which is at Molito Alabang. We chose Burger Geek among those different choices within the area. This was because of the recommendation I seldomn see in the reviews. Well, it was little pricey though, but I personally enjoyed the flavor! Juicy and not so salty. Fries were fine, umami corn was great but the onion rings was a bit oily... That was just okay for us!

If you're down south and looking for something heavy to try on, give this one a chance and see for yourself! yummy and heavy for your tummy!

Delicious!

We seldom go to Alabang thus when we had the chance, me and my friend opted to try Burger Geek. I had high expectation of this place because of the write ups and the reviews that I have been reading.  The theme of the place is consistent from the classroom style chairs, to geeky trivia placed in each table down to the name of the menus.

Prom Queen (American cheese, Veggie patty, lettuce and tomato)
Mushy patty, unusual aftertaste not for my taste bud.

Fries
Well-seasoned not too salty, just the right amount of flavor and crunch.

Me and my friends opted for something non-rice for quick dinner and was really craving for a burger so we ate here. The place was nice and designed as if you're in a school of burgers and it was packed. I ordered the B+ or Bacon+ and it was actually good -- juicy and flavorful. However, the bacon was a bit too salty but pwede na. The serving is just right and was nicely presented.

On the not so bright side, the service was bad. We had to call them several times for the menu and other stuff. So ang ending, sa bahay na ako uminom ng tubig. 128542

Nth review for burger geek but I don't mind 128522 this is really our go to place for delicious burgers and sides 128077🏼
Doesn't that burger look like it's making a face at you? Ahehe! That's hubby's geek2 128513 tried something new and I ordered the class president but hold the mushrooms pls, the server suggested to transfer the mushrooms to hubby's geek2, good idea! Pat on the back for your initiative 128522 got the fries with cilantro mayo as usual and fried pickles too.
Orders arrived quickly and after snapping some pics, we gamely dove in! I know a lot of people are on th fence about the buns but for me, it really complements the patty very well. It's dense but doesn't interfere with the taste of the meat and other ingredients. Our sides were fried perfectly, no 'old oil' taste that we sometimes encounter. Btw this is to make bawi from our disappointing encounter at bread and botany 128516
We were supposed to transfer to another place for dessert but it started pouring! So we decided to get a strawberry shake for dessert. It was really good! Creamy and thick but not cloyingly sweet 128077🏼
Thanks for anothEr great meal burger geek!

Wasn't a fan when i first tried it months ago, but wuw! Loved it this time around.

The buns weren't as soft as i remember (a good thing) and the smashed patty didn't fall apart! Thoroughly enjoyed my B+ burger, it actually deserves an A+ for the crispy bacon and whatever dressing they put in there. Props to their umami corn too! Not a fan of bonito flakes, but wuw again, i liked it!

Only thing i didn't like was the acoustics of the place. It was quite hard to converse. Also, i think it would be better if they provide each table a pitcher of water or maybe bigger cups so we don't have to call the servers so often. Still coming back though. Yummy!

I've been craving for burger for the whole week, and checked lots of restaurant menus and reviews and this place was the most popular and highly suggested.

We arrived the restaurant around 11:45am on a Sunday, and we were shocked to see that customers are already occupying almost half of the restaurant. In my experience, usually around this time restaurants don't get too much customers yet. The place is a bit small, so we're thankful that we arrived a bit early, since more customers, some in large groups, came in just a few minutes after we did.

We ordered the Class President (because I wanted something with onion rings and this is one of the recommended items in the reviews I've read), and the Umami Chicken with Kimchi Fried Rice. After ordering, we were served with chips that seemed like "cropeck" drizzled with seaweed bits. Personally, I didn't appreciate this too much. There were times that I liked it when snacking on it, but most of the time it just felt a little off. But it's free, so I'd rather not complain about it! 128518

I had to order extra sides since I wanted to have fries with my burger, and the burger orders don't come with sides. The burger I had was good. The combination of the ingredients - onion rings, mushrooms, barbeque sauce, to name a few, well balanced out each other to create a flavorful dish. The burger patty was delicious, too. I enjoyed this a lot.

The umami chicken was okay as well. The skin was crispy and well seasoned. The chicken itself was juicy and didn't lack flavor. You would't be able to taste too much of the kimchi in the kimchi rice that was included in the dish. It was just fine for me. The real winner in this dish was the corn. I loved it!!! I really can't explain how much I loved it and why, but let's just say that all the elements in the coating of the corn plus the corn itself made a great combination.

Their service was good. Servers were nice and quick to attend to your needs and requests. Ambiance of the place is nice, too. There is a made up table of elements on one side of the wall, that's one thing I can remember.

Overall, I liked my experience with Burger Geek. My advice, come a bit early if you want sure seats, especially if you want to go in a group (for around more than 6 people) for you to get easily accommodated, as the place, as mentioned, is a bit small.

Our burger cravings are always easily solved by burger geek 128513 having more choices now along molito, it still remains to be one of our faves.
Hubbybear and I split a B Mac and a Hangover. I got their fries (with cilantro mayo yum) while he had the fried pickles. Food was delicious as usual but service was a bit off that day. Having dined here so many times already, I requested for bigger paper cups for our water and I guess the server was new so she said they can't actually use that for water 128563 so I said that I've eaten here like a dozen times already and we were able to use those bigger cups.
Food serving was also oddly timed, our sides arrived at the same time but the b Mac arrived like 7 minutes ahead of the hangover. Would've been better if they arrived at the same time since they were also ordered at the same time.
Nevertheless, both were awesome 128077🏼

Been craving for burger so we decided to try something new and because Molito, Alabang have a lot of newly opened restaurants and store, we give it a try.
I ordered The Principal (Php185) while my companion ordered The Geek (Php210), fries add-ons (Pho65) and unlimited softdrinks for (Php85). What's special about their burger is the smashed patty and their potato buns which freshly baked everyday. It tastes good! Wtf 128076🏻 Their regular burger is actually big, while the fries is crunchy. They have lots of choices for add-ons like; Onion Rings, French Fries, Pork Bits etc. My only concern was they only offer softdrinks and shakes, they don't have any juices available while they served free water.

The place is a bit cramped so getting your burgers to go and eating them at the open park in the middle of Molito is a good idea 128077🏼 good, well-peppered burgers.

Was able to drop by Molito the other day and finally got to drop by BurgerGeek. First heard them because of angry bird este kay Bad Birds pala haha.. This burger shop themed their place like a university with a complete menu referencing things about school.

For the food I ordered the Straight Aes. It got shitake mushroom, TLC, onions, bbq sauce and their smashed patty. For the price I find the patty was a little bit small and the potato bread was too mushy. It felt like a burger bun that was put on a microwave. Thanks to the shitake and bbq sauce, it tasted good. Overall I was expecting more from it.

What I didn't like about my experience was when the waiter allowed a group of drunk teen guys bring their bottle of rum inside. There were lot of kids during that time and its not a good image for such place.128529

No wifi and power outlet.

Overall I love the concept but I think there is space for improvement. Maybe next time I'll try their umami dishes..

Within Molito complex, Burger Geek is one of those busy restaurants with customers coming in and out even during off-peak hours. The concept isn’t complicated to understand. For a first timer, I felt the restaurant wants me to geek out over their burgers. Telling me that they are experts in this field, with a mural of periodic table of burger elements. As simple as that!

Smashed patties at Burger Geek, that’s what they are known for. So-called rebels for smashing patties, they reject the notion that burgers will be less juicy if you do that. They continue to prove that their technique is well-studied in their kitchen.

What I Tried:
Straight Aes was my choice. Going for a perfect combination of toppings I like, Burger Geek’s famous smashed patty, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, shitake mushroom, sautéed onions, and BBQ sauce. Its soft potato buns felt so right with all the flavors celebrating altogether, especially the crusty burger patty.

For my main man, Class President tops among his choices. Still the same smashed patty with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, crispy bacon, shitake mushroom, onion rings and BBQ sauce. You read the ingredients, it’s a mouthwatering juicy-licious burger fit for a president. Admittedly, he chose a better flavor than I did! This is a winning one!

Oh heyyyy! Looks like I don't have to travel far if I wanna have good burgers and chicken 128077128523

The Umami Chicken order is a good deal (masarap na busog ka pa), for only P295, it comes w/ corn on the cob and kimchi rice na. That kimchi rice is so good, kanin pa lang solve na! Chicken is seasoned well too ( don't ask me to compare it to the one in Hole in the Wall, pareho namang masarap ok 1285219996️).

The Geek2 , P330, double patty is the way to go!128076128523128523128523

Buffalo Wings, P210. , its good, but nothing special with this one, hubby just needed to munch on something while waiting for the rest of the orders hehe

Salted Caramel Milkshake, P165, my son loved it! What kid wouldn't love milk and ice cream?!

So for peeps in the South, this place is worth checking out 128077128522

Me and my friend usually dine in 8 cuts when we crave for burger. But yesterday we decided to search from the internet which burger is currently on top 1. Then based on 2016 review of awesomeplanet the Burger Geek was spotted on top 1. So on out curiosity we went to Alabang all the way from Makati just to try their burger. So here is the very unforgettable and very rude experience ever…LOCATION:The place is not very accessible if you will opt to commute. It is 2 or 3 blocks away from the highway and is situated in a parking lot.VENUE:It is a very ordinary place. Not a good choice if you want to dine on a cozy place. The ventilation is not good as we expect it. All seats wouldn’t be available for occupancy if you don’t want to feel like eating burger under the sun.SERVICE:The crews are not attentive. You have to call them to catch their attention to place an order. They are not also polite and rude specially the business owner. We really had a bad experience dealing with the business owner to the point that he requested us to go out. What a rude man. It started with the seats we want to occupy. Since me and my friend would like to seat side by side we requested the crew if we can take the seats on the other side. The crew agreed and just told us to wait because she will just clean the table. Then there’s a couple with a child who are seated on another table came to take the seats. But then we told them that we are going to occupy it and we are just waiting for the crew to transfer our food. Then here comes Greorge Koh (I guess) the owner, who rudely asked us if we are expecting for other guest, as if he really want us to give the seats to the family. We were embarrassed because the way he delivered his sentences. I had this same kind of experience but they usually asked it politely, not the way he did it as if he really want us to leave the seats and just take the single table. He didn’t even REQUESTED it, he COMMANDED us to just stay on our table. It was very unreasonable because that family already occupies another seat and there were still more seats available and he just want us to move out of that seat for someone else? Also what made me mad was he repeatedly came to us to “EXPLAIN” and say “SORRY” in not a good way. He said “Im sorry it was all a mistake..etc, but the tone of his voice and all are not very sincere and rude). I hate it all specially those last statements that made me and my friend leave their store without finishing eating their food and paying for it as well. He said “If you are not enjoying eating here you can just leave the food and go out”. This is the worst restaurant ever asking a customer to leave their store because of their own attitude. I swear he deliver it in a rude way. Definitely I won’t recommend this burger store to any of my friends. 8 cuts is still the best burger so far.FOOD:Just an ordinary burger, the bacon was toasted and I can’t almost bite it so I just opted to remove the bacon from it. The burger sauce is sour and It lacks mayo. Their mustard is just ordinary. Their onion rings is very toasted that I can’t taste the onions. The breading of the onion is not consistent and sticks to each other. Overall I hate this store, their food, their staff.

Burger Geek is a very popular southern burger place, especially based on the stellar reviews they've been receiving here on |. Needing to spend time in Alabang we took this as a chance to visit this restaurant. I had really high expectations coming in here.

Its a small shop, maybe seats just around 40. The interiors are playful, with geeky trivia, classroom style chairs, and their own made-up periodic table.

We got the Principal and the B. Mac. I wanted the veggie burger however it was not available.

Burgers were just ok for me. My son loved his burger. It was juicy. I loved the toast in the bread. However the bread is too soft and gets smushed easily. I initially thought the beef patty was a mediocre size but with the fries, I was just too full after my meal.

Fries were amazing! Crunchy and seasoned with sour cream. It's one of the best fries I've eaten, especially the super tostado pieces. Salted caramel shake was thick and creamy. Loved the super cold water they served to us too. I was happy that they had ketchup and mustard sauce bottles readily available for use by the customer. Thumbs up for the complimentary kropek they gave, we were really hungry when we came in.

Burger Geek is a good dining option in Alabang, but I probably won't go out of the way to dine here. That's if our Yushoken craving isn't off the charts.

Parking is available in front of the restaurant. We came in at 12NN on a weekday. There were only a couple of diners and we were seated immediately.

Burgers are a 3.5 for me. Overall, 4.

Thanks for the reco Ruth S. My kids enjoyed our lunch date128522
