not a lot on the menu, mostly burgers - and they sure do burgers well. i had the pub original. the patty was huge (for someone my size), juicy, flavourful, and cooked perfectly. the brioche bun was toasted to my liking, and there was so much cheese in it. for 345 bucks, this burger was a treat!

It was a toss up between Indian food and burgers for dinner and BurgerPub won. Their menu isn't as extensive, mostly burgers, some appetizers, pasta and dessert.

How can you not order burgers when the restaurant is named Burger Pub. Hubby knew right away that he wanted the Bleu. He enjoyed his burger. As for me, Blue Cheese and I are just not friends.

I ordered their bestseller, the Pub Original. I was underwhelmed with the flavors and the onions were too sweet for me. The burger got cold right away. The burgers were very oily too. We paid P40 each for straight up yummy fries to be added to our burgers.

The place is decked in black and white and has a nostalgic feel. We enjoyed the videos/concerts being shown on their TV.

I've had far better tasting burgers so I doubt that we'll be back here anytime soon.

They have good burgers here. Tried their new pasta dish - lasagna, meaty and cheesy. The fries was done well too, must order this if you love fries. Good place to have a burger fix when at The Grove. Seats a few but doesnt get crowded.

My new favorite place for beer! Chugged (wew chugged talaga?) their 500ml Weihenstephan Vitus beer. It was only P215, pretty cheap for a German beer. If you like light, hoppy beers, this is for you. 128524

We went on a friday night and surprisingly, it wasn't crowded. I love the fact that it was a perfect place to just talk and catch up. Lol the Grove is slowly becoming my fave dinner/drinks place.

Oh my goodness. I don't know anymore if my favorite burger place in Manila is The Beef or this Burger Pub 128555

Got their Classic burger that didn't have any vegetables. It was all just cheese and the patty. I usually take out the onions, lettuce or tomatoes from my burgers so I really loved how simple their Classic was... And I was extremely happy when I took my first bite. The buns were so soft, the thick patty was juicy and THE CHEESE WAS PHENOMENAL!!! 128563128563128563 It was so good that I didn't realize how messy I looked with stuff dripping down my arm and mouth. 128563128563128563Also got some of their fries which were very good also.

If they had a value meal option or something, I would've given 5 stars. They only offer the burger + fries combo with one of their burgers so I had to ask for a separate order of fries 🙁 Wanted to order something else for my drink but I didn't want to be broke so I just got... Water. 128517

Service was good too. Plus their restroom was clean. 128076🏼

Burgerpub, a burger joint hidden in the deep corner of the grove. It's a place where you can enjoy bonding with friends. This joint serves above average burgers and an amazing lineup of craft beers. The highlight of the joint is possibly their Weihenstephan german draft beers which is a favorite of ours. Try to order the Vitus or the Dunkel. Burgerpub is chill joint where we always return to for a pint of beer and a laugh with friends.

P.S. I didn't like their churros

Another new restaurant at The Grove by Rockwell! This one is located at the farther end of the area. Small but well-designed. They also play good old music. Mga Phil Collins and Cyndi Lauper ganyan.

Tried their new pasta specials. This one is their Arrabiatta using Tagliatelle topped with meatballs.

The meatballs are pretty big! Not as ginormous as the ones in other restaurants but with around 5-6 prices, it's pretty filling by itself. It's also very flavorful!

The pasta was a little spicy but not too tomatoey. Flavorful though nonetheless.

It's pricey at 340 but the serving size is huge! Possibly good for two not-so-hungry people.

The Grove by Rockwell has evolved from a mere events area for birthdays or bazaars to a foodie haven. Indeed, it does not offer a lot of choices yet but it has a pretty good variety from Filipino dishes to Japanese, Indian to American staples. I have been eying the tempura place there for quite some time but every time I plan to visit, it gets cancelled. I blame traffic (and lazy bug) for it. And when I finally decided to visit The Grove, the tempura place was closed! *ugly cry* But a new burger joint made me smile.

Hello, Burger Pub.

The place is quite small and could perhaps sit at most 25 diners.

Positioning itself as a no-frills burger place, its interiors have an industrial, semi-finished look. Even the menu was very simple. (Though not sure if they'll make it more extensive since they seem to be still testing out their menu.)

I ordered the Pub Original (PHP345) while my mom went with the server's recommended off the menu Ragu Bolognese (PHP335). We also ordered iced tea (PHP120) for beverage.

First served was the iced tea and I noticed its very dark color. It somehow reminded me of milk tea. And it... doesn't taste like one. It had a very strong tea taste to the point of it being too bitter for iced tea. It wasn't that refreshing too because of the after taste that stays in your mouth. It was not worth my PHP120. (And we ordered two glasses of it so that makes it PHP240!!!)

My mom's pasta was served next and serving size was quite generous and good for two.

It was also delightfully meaty. Each bite was guaranteed to be packed with meat. I also liked the firm pasta complementing the soft and juicy meat sauce. The parmesan added a tinge of tart and further enhanced the dish's taste.

Pub Original was served last and first thing I noticed was the plain and pan de sal looking bun. It made the burger look dry. But I then diverted my attention to the patty and wow oh wow, the patty looked very thick (and it should for they claim that it is 170g). It looked like it was cooked well too with its juicy appearance.

And the taste did not disappoint at all. It was indeed succulent and had a nice balance of flavors among the seasoned and slightly salty patty, caramelized onion, Burger Pub original sauce (which was more on the sweet side) and Irish cheddar cheese.

I promised myself that I should only eat half of it since I was invited to a "heavy" sukiyaki dinner so I resisted the urge to finish the whole thing. And it was not an easy task. It was really good.

I will definitely visit again and eat a whole burger next time. (And I'll skip the iced tea.)

Got myself a basic cheeseburger to go, which I ate in Precynt9786️ Thank you Precynt!!!

Burger tasted fresh, no weird extenders. For the price I expected a thicker patty. It did come with a serving of fries. Bread was also good, not the dry, grocery bought kind.

I wanted to try another order, though I forgot what it was so I can't tell you. Maybe a duck or shrimp dish? I can't see the menu anywhere. Anyway I stuck with the burger instead because the front door hostess that took my order can't describe how good it would taste like because she said she has never tried it.

This place was full of customers when I placed my order. Free parking in the basement for now.

Loved everything about this place! I really enjoyed the fries, which reminded me of those fries we usually order when we're on vacation in the beach or by the pool side with a chocolate milkshake on hand 128525 baboy lang!! The fries were perfectly golden and crisp served with ketchup and aioli. THE BEST! I would've pushed to order another if I wasn't already full.

The burger I got was their BurgerPub classic. It had caramelized onions and cheddar cheese. The serving seemed small but I was stuffed after almost finishing the whole burger. I had around 2 small bites left when I couldn't take it anymore. Hehehe the waiter said it's best eaten using bare hands so make sure you have clean hands before eating.. Or not. 99969996

Will definitely go back here to order a plate of fries all for myself and hopefully they add milkshakes to the menu!!! 128069

We were just here to pickup a contract from the owner so my co-worker ordered something light to eat while we waited.

We all agreed that their burgers were insanely expensive! Like around 350+ for just a burger? And I'm not talking like big ass burgers here, they all looked like regular sized burgers.

So she ordered their churros which came with two dips: chocolate and butterscotch. I was actually intrigued with the latter since I'm used to only dipping my Spanish dessert in chocolate.

Serving size was great! There were three of us who shared this plate and it was perfect. Although I still preferred the chocolate dip because it tasted EXACTLY the same as Dulcinea's Spanish chocolate dip. 128557128557128557 HEAVEN!!! The butterscotch just tasted like melted butter....weird. Maybe they can just replace this with caramel instead.

I'm looking forward to visiting all these new restos at The Grove. I hope they're not as expensive as this place or I'll be forced to just eat at the SM across the highway! 128514

Adios! 128111

Today was one of those lazy days, slept in with a late breakfast thus a late lunch also.

It was about mid afternoon around 2pm and the retail row was practically empty. We wanted to try the new burger joint by our place just to see how it is.

Pleasantly surprised that we have another quality place right here next to Asakusa and Backyard. (Great that Breakfast and Pies is opening soon too!)

We went with a hamburger to share - we ordered the classic first along with a "nibbler." Lo and behold - one of the best tasting scallops I've ever had my entire life - and oddly enough I find it in a burger joint. The burger itself was pretty good too but it is kinda pricey for the size of the burger.

Over-all, the food was really good - I just wish it was a bit more practical but we will go back basing it entirely on the quality and the taste! 5127775s!

Still on soft opening so this visit may not be fully representative of the place.

The jalapeno and cheese croquettes were very good.

The bleu cheese burger was ok - the patty itself was good and just the right size at 170 g. The burger is pulled down by the bread though; it is closer to a dinner roll than it is to a burger bun. Nothing a change of supplier couldn't solve.
