Birthday lunch with ze family. 10084
We ordered 2 platters, 1 with ribs and calamari and the other one with ribs again and wings. Both were for 900php+ each but they have a promo!!!! You will only pay for one. Hoorayyyy. Nakatipid ako ng bongga. Haha then also ordered jambalaya rice and seafood arabiatta.
Everything was great especially the seafood arabiatta and the chicken wings. They were perfectly cooked unlike the food from their other branches.
We also ordered some of their smoothies like the blue banana (blueberry banana), marshmallow froth, and elephant punch which as per the server was a combi of diff fruits.
They were delicious! Sweet but just right.
The service was great. They were attentive and nice.
They also gave a birthday sundae for me (i jokingly asked the server if they have somethng for bday celebrants)128514128514 we were shocked, bigla nalang silang kumanta. And they did this after we paid our bill Haha i thought para yun sa katabing table 128514 Good job, guys! 10084

One Friday dinner last December at Burgoo SM Marikina before watching Starwars.

This is our second time at this branch. We got nachos , pasta, this Kentucky Platter which consists of Ribs, grilled fish , fries and kebabs and forgot the other food that we ordered. All I know is that it's all good, nice ambience and good service 128077

What kids love about Burgoo is because they have this paper mat where they can draw and color whirl waiting for food

I like Burgoo as it is my go to place in SM Marikina. Generally, food here is okay although some items may be too pricey and not too good. Since I always eat here, i have tasted several of their dishes and will be making a fair and true report on each of the said dishes I have tasted.

I like the mozzarella sticks and the marinara sauce that goes with it! It has a generous serving of cheese and sauce. The downside though is that you might be too full to eat anything else after this. Regular is Php325.00.

I don't recommend the Onion Rings here. It tastes dry and there's just too much breading. It is not worth the price (Php395.00 for large serving)

Supreme Nachos has lots of ground beef and cheese sauce in it. The "salsa" consists only of chopped tomatoes. I do not like salsa sauce so I am okay with this. My companion however, liked the nachos but wished there was real salsa. It costs Php425.00. My companion thought that it was too expensive for its size of serving. I, on the other hand, was happy with it. I do concede though, that it is quite expensive for its size but I would still eat it next time.

The Boneless Buffalo wings is okay and it has bleu cheese dressing. It's not one of my favorites here though. I would go elsewhere for buffalo wings I guess. It costs Php325.00.

There is a Supreme Sampler consisting of buffalo wings, cheddar cheese fries, mozzarella sticks and onion rings. The regular costs Php425.00. Among all these items, I would just go for the mozzarella sticks so I suggest you just order the mozzarella sticks instead but you may want to try their other appetizers and just go for this sampler instead.

We usually just get a bowl of today's soup which is usually mushroom soup. Sometimes it's corn soup. My nephews like either. Each bowl costs Php95.00.

The Shrimp Popcorn is the best. You can have it on a salad (as toppings, i.e., shrimp popcorn caesar) or you can have a separate order of shrimp popcorns without the salad. The shrimps are fresh and juicy and the garlic/ranch sauce is yummy! (Php395.00 for regular serving)

Haburgoo is a big burger with a thick but very dry and almost tasteless patty. It tastes bland and while it is a big burger, you really do not get the value for your money as to its quality. However, size-wise, it is good for sharing for 2. It costs Php395.00.

For the stone baked pizza, if you intend to order this, I suggest you order this first as it takes some tome to prepare this. The large pizza is priced around Php495.00-575.00, depending on the kind if pizza but I recommend that you choose the pizza sampler. The pizza sampler allows you to order 4 different flavors in your pizza. I like the margherita and taco mexicano. My family likes frutte de mare, meatza and/or supreme.

The Oklahoma baby back ribs is okay but not that great. I would not/do not order this on a regular basis but I am okay with eating it again from time to time. I would go to Racks or something if I wanted ribs but not here. Ribs cost around Php595.00.

The grilled pork chops has a generous serving of meat, rice and fries. The sidings depend on your preference but whatever sidings you choose, they serve a generous amount of it. The grilled pork chops was tender and I really couldn't get enough of it. The regular serving costs Php395.00 but it is already good for sharing for 2.

For the pasta, I hear alot order the chicken teriyaki pasta, carbonara and grilled chicken alfredo. One of their bestsellers is also the chicken diane which is my favorite. It's served with chicken breasts and you mix the white sauce yourself. The taste of the sauce is not too overpowering. It is not too creamy and once you taste it I am sure you won't be able to stop eating it, even if you aren't really into pastas. The regular serving costs Php395.00.

I also like that they have quick and efficient service here. They take your orders promptly and correctly. They take care of their customers and food tastes great!

This is our first time dining here and that's just because we got a coupon for a free sampler. What a disappointment for a first time experience.

The free sampler was meh. It was served lukewarm. Fries are soggy, mozzarella stick and onion rings are chewy, the dip is yummy though. The wings like it was dipped in ketchup, taste like it too.

hubby loves pork-chop so he got the grilled pork-chop with rice pilaf and mashed potato. The pork chop was tender but a bit bland if eaten without the gravy. The serving size is only enough for 1 person. Sabi good for sharing daw. Good thing we ordered a separate dish for me and daughter.

We ordered country style chicken with plain rice, and corn and carrots. I was sorely disappointed that they didn't offer other veggies with their rice dish. They have a separate salad dish but I'm not going to pay 300plus just for gulay. The chicken is okay but dry and bland (again).

Overall, food is okay (dahil naubos naman namin) but no wow factor. Overpriced imho. Won't be coming back anytime soon.

Sundate in the North today. We headed to SM Marikina for some late snacks (early dinner).

I haven't eaten in Burgoo for so long so we figured we'd give it a try since there weren't much people at their branch yet at around 4pm.

We ordered their supreme sampler and pizza sampler. Ordering is always a problem cause we always want to try a lot but can't since we don't have anyone else to share the food with. :p

Supreme sampler included generous servings of their mozzarella sticks buffalo wings, cheese and bacon fries and onion rings. Hurray for generous servings of their dips too: bleu cheese, marinara and another I forgot. Everything was good, I just have to comment on how "big" their wings are. They were super thin/small.

Pizza was also good. Chewy crust, generous toppings. We had pepperoni, meatza, taco Mexicano and Hawaiian as flavors. I drizzled Tabasco and enjoyed my slicessss.

Refillable drinks (soda and iced tea) are at 59 each. Paid a little over a thousand for good food and superb service.

(Too bad I've outgrown my drawing and coloring days. I used to make masterpieces while waiting. Hehe. They still have their blank sheets and crayons) :D

First time to visit Burgoo SM Marikina Branch. We were seated at a circular table for 5. Ordered Gambas Al Ajillo P525 (was ok!), Seafood Caesar Supreme P525 (loved it! Refreshing meal from all the oil and fat from the other meal), Ultimate Fajitas Combo P595 (steak & shrimps) {limited strips of steak, small but tender shrimps}, Seafood Jambalaya P595 (serving's too small for the price), for desserts: Fudge Brownie Ala Mode P195 (RECOMMENDED!) Oreo Cheesecake P195 (good!).
The thing that sticks to my grandmother's tastebuds was the Fudge Brownie Ala Mode. Perfect dessert for our meal. We actually shared it by 5.

What's good about the MEAL was it was from the BPI CREDIT CARD Buy1Get1 promo! So instead of paying P2,893 (service charge included) I only paid a TOTAL of P1,446.5 (service charge included)!

Food was great and I'm happy everytime my granny loves the food I ordered. Will wait for BPI Promo again next year!

(For the duration of the promo I ended up 4x at different Burgoo Restaurants)

Money's Well Spent!

2nd time to eat here.. the first time was not a good experience.. decided to eat here kasi tapos na ang lunch buffet ng vikings.. 128549

the receptionist? or yung girl na nasa labas ang naging reason kung bakit kami kumain dito.. thanks for the free gambas..

anyway.. we ordered seafood jambalaya and cream dory milanese.. serving was good for sharing.. sorry wasn't able to take a picture of the food.. na overwhelm kasi kami sa dami.. tapos we have the free gambas pa..

gambas: too much oil.. literal na lumalangoy sa mantika ang mushroom at shrimps.. wala ako nalasahan..

cream dory milanese: it was really good.. the white sauce is the bomb! yun ang mas nagpasarap ng dish.. it comes with mashed potatoes pala..

seafood jambalaya: it was okay.. nothing special...

will still go back though.. 128515

The meal was enough for the for of us.

bur·goo
[bur-goo, bur-goo]

A classy american bar and restaurant
or simply as a tavern that originated largely from State of Kentucky and Tennesse which means a food that is well mixed up with veggies and meat (typically lamb meat) with a red sauce, sometimes falsely pronounced as "bergo" by the redskin and early american descendants.

The Food

Well, as a whole different culture affects the process for food in America whether it is South,North or Central, it is totally crumpled into one for satisfying the needy hungry stomach. As for us Filipino's we can easily adapt to what it was before and after, so this outrangingly resto is list as "must try".
Depending on your choice to what kind of dish would you prefer, menu card is always available, form seafoods, pork and beef meat, burgers from heavy to a hearty meal.

The Budget

An intellegent choice is the option for picking up the right dish for a regulated budget, However if you are the wager in the group you'd better be a prepper:)
