Definitely try the sisig! The barbeque sauce is great but the meat can sometimes be a bit burnt though. The place has an indoor and outdoor area, pretty spacious.

This restaurant is just a 15-20-minute walk from our hotel- New Dawn Pensionne. You can also take a jeepney or tricycle to reach this place. If you're with a group, you can also take a taxi and share the fare. My friend has been researching on good places to eat while we're at CDO. This restaurant has been around for a long time. It is also a recommended place to eat when you visit CDO Tourism's official site.

Upon mentioning that the place has been around for a long time, I imagined a better ambience--good seats, cleaner dining areas and better service. Everything was so-so just like your typical karenderia. I hope they would invest more on this part.

As for the food, I have no complaints! Their bestsellers were the Grilled Angus Beef and Grilled Pork Belly. Unfortunately, the Angus Beef was not available at that time. So we just ordered the Pork Belly, Tuna Sisig and Original Pork Barbeque. The Pork was so soft and tender. Not difficult ti chew at all! I liked the sweetness of the Pork BBQ and it's even better with rice! Don't forget to pair it with, soysauce with chilis or soysauce with vinegar. It really captured the Filipino taste! On the other hand, there's really nothing special about the Tuna Sisig but I'm glad it was there so I won't feel guilty with all the meat we've been eating. 128540

One order of pork belly and tuna sisig can be shared by 2-3 persons. Rice is a little bit pricey in CDO. All in all, I think the food is affordable and really good for those travelling on a strict budget. It was our first day of being stranded here in CDO because if typhoon Ruby. I'm really glad we did our research. :)

Remeber those cafeteria's back in high school and college? The vibe and ambiance of this joint is just like that. The food wasnt that ok. I tried their angus belly and it was more like angus litid. But it made me eat mire rice. The gravy was on the fatty side... I guess they use the fat frim the beef to make it. The barbecue was really good though. If your looking for a joint to try here in CDO go to butchers best and experience it. I'd recomend the barbecue
