When stuck in traffic during the rush hours in Salcedo Village... Why not try these great comfort food from C' Italian Restaurant in Salcedo.... Having its origins in Pampanga ...so glad it can also be experienced at the heart of the CBD District ...

So this is my version of cooling down......intimate, classic, quiet and filling! The exterior of the restaurant was quite intimidating at first probably because of the fine dining appeal, but once you get deep into the menu, everything you would find would be truly hearty goodness amidst the luxurious ambiance 10084️ the taste? Superb! The serving? Ohso flexible solo or famiglia mode.... The price? Fairly lifestyle price and shareable serving portions!

Let's see... they have complimentary bread ( served warm ) and the dip is made of olive oil, pesto and parmesan12852210084️ on a generous amount 10084128077🏻

Had pumpkin soup which was hearty enough.....100841008410084

and of course the original Panizza with the wrapping technique of alfalfa sprouts100841008410084️ I believe they are the original pioneers of this here in Pinas....since they are not a newbie on the block 128522

Tried the penne bolognese pasta and it tasted great as well128077🏻128077🏻128077🏻

Oh I also had caesar's salad and the chicken chunks were more of large strips! Yum as well10084128077🏻128522

They even have these shelves which features autographed plates by famous celebrities and personalities 128522

So after dining the traffic subsided but I think it's time for a nightcap hehehee 🍽🍽🍽128518

It's true, the best Italian dining in the Metro. Went to Makati last February 19 evening to meet hubby after office hours as we need to go to Parañaque for the wake of his uncle. The traffic is too bad so we decided first to have dinner before traveling to South.

I was really surprised that hubby brought me at C'Italian Dining at Salcedo Village branch. It's just near mom's office and this is my food bucket list for a long time, finally it came to reality. Hubby's advance birthday treat to me as it was my birthday the following day.

The place was not big but very classy and private. I spotted immediately the plates on the wall signed by their famous guests. We ordered their pasta and panizza. That linguini tartufo was a bomb! I've never tasted a pasta as good as this one! I can't explain but it's simply different from other pasta I've tasted in Italian resto here in Manila. Of course the panizza is expected as good also. For dessert we had their lemon cheesecake and the goodness sticks on my mouth up to the last bite. From pasta, to panizza to dessert was awesome!

Service was good and tell you, the price is worth it 128077

Ah...home of the great panizza! It truly is as I heard they coined (even copyrighted it I think) that term. The panizza was thin enough that you could roll it and make a pretty roll like what I had (yes, inangat ko bangko ko. Hahaha). Tastewise, it was absolutely delish! 128523 My fellow foodies for that night got a couple of different panizzas but the real winner for me was their Angelico one. It consisted of chorizo, salami, bacon and mushroom that all made for one delectable dish. Aside from their panizzas, their complimentary bread, pasta and other dishes are good too. 128076

Place just got better. Get an entrée and get a free Jando panizza! I feel that it's a free entrée for the price of a panizza. In any case, it's a great deal. If you do the math, it's much cheaper than a dear darla order at yellow cab. Waiters are fantastic. Food is fresh and cooked in an open kitchen. What's not to like? Panizza. Better than pizza! 128541128077🏾128077🏾

The search is over! I have finally found my favorite Italian restaurant in Makati City. C’ Italian Dining is located in the heart of Salcedo Village, right beside the Salcedo Park. It may look intimidating from afar but once you enter and take a seat, you will feel right at home! The servers are very accommodating and the chefs make sure that you get the most bang for your buck without burning a hole through your pocket. With it’s original branch located in the Culinary Capital of the Philippines (Pampanga), this branch does not disappoint as it does not only bring with it reasonable prices and smiling faces -it has also brought the it’s signature creation, the Panizza, to Metro Manila.

MY FAVORITES:
Rolls Royce Panizza -  Salami, Scallop Flakes, Shrimp and Sun Dried Tomatoes
This one was definitely the star of the night for me. It had so many different simple flavors that literally roll up into on great Panizza. For some reason, when it is rolled up, you tend to taste everything so much more. Maybe it’s just me but I swear I could taste the creamy cheese, juicy shrimps and slight sweetness of the sundries tomatoes much more when I added fresh alfalfa sprouts and arugula leaves. It has all the basic flavors but don’t forget to put some chili oil when preparing to roll your Panizza because it doesn’t make it spicy as much as it enhances all the flavors.

Penne Roberto - Gorgonzola & Parmesan Cream Sauce with Chicken Fillet, Sliced Garlic and Sun Dried Tomatoes
This pasta was definitely my favorite because I’ve never come across a pasta sauce made with Gorgonzola and Parmesan cheese. I could honestly do without the Chicken Fillet because to me, it was just getting in the way. The cream sauce had a subtle sharpness to it so your first bite is a little surprising. Give yourself 2 bites or so to allow your mouth to adjust to the flavors and I can guarantee you, this will be your favorite dish too!

Lemon Cheesecake
Im actually pretty difficult to please when it comes to cheesecakes because I’m not just looking for the flavor, I also need the right topping to cheesecake ratio, the right texture (for both the cheesecake and the topping), as well as the texture and thickness of the base.

I found myself enjoying the Lemon Cheesecake of Italian because they seem to be able to provide me with everything I look for. The topping was spread out evenly so that you can have it with each bite you take. The base was not thick and crumbly, it was well packed together and had just the right amount of thickness to complement the flavor of the cheesecake. And finally, the cheesecake itself was not to sweet, smooth, and oh so creamy. Definitely making this my go to place for cheesecake.

Full review is up on the blog now! :)

My first time to eat a panizza. It was great! The price is totally worth it. Unlike the other expensive restos in the area which leaves me feeling ripped off, this Italian place is worth the money. My wife and I also had the mozzarella gnocchi, Caesar salad, a pasta dish with truffle oil, and a tiramisu. They were all great. 128522128077🏽128077🏽

I don't even like pizza and I have to say that the thin crystal roll-up pizza here is SPECTACULAR. The service was attentive yet unobtrusive. I definitely plan on being back soon!

I was craving for pasta so I decided to try their linguini with truffle cream sauce. It also had some asparagus and prosciutto. It definitely hit the spot! The sauce was light, not too heavy, and not too rich that you get "umay" before finishing the dish. I was pleasantly full after I finished the dish, and would have ordered dessert if I had more time. I was eyeing the lemon cheesecake or the tiramisu. Oh well - next time!

Service was quite excellent, the waiters were very attentive and proactive in topping up my drink. Food arrived promptly.

Definitely coming back for the panizzas (and dessert) next time.

Last Thursday, my mom had dinner with her high school friends in this restaurant & I decided to tag along.

✔️ FOOD
- pizzeria
-pasta
- salad

I don't actually remember exactly the names of our orders but everything was divine. The salad was just right for my palate. The pasta was alright. The pizzeria would have to be my favorite. Their style of pizza is just like Yellow Cab's Dear Darla

✔️STAFF
They truly are in their best behavior. They made sure that we get our orders fully contented. They also gave us recommendations on whah we should order.

We had our pre-Xmas dinner here tonight 9786️ and my friends absolutely loved their panizza! We had the Rolls Royce (scallop, salami and shrimps) as well as the Kristina. I was just ok with the food though, i prefer Recess (which I found out to be out of the loop already 128532 )

Even the soup, pasta and chicken were so-so for me. I got full right away; dishes must have been rich.

But I really like their complimentary bread 128540

Home of the original panizza. We got the Rolls Royce panizza, which had some salami, shrimp, US scallop flakes, and sun dried tomatoes. Good combination of toppings. Still the best panizza out there. Chili oil was too hot for me though and the panizza could stand on its own even without any chili. The carrot and pumpkin soup was just divine.

We arrived here quite late in the evening. They still accommodated us, but the servers looked exhausted. There was a dead mosquito on my placemat which remained there until the end of the meal. I was too tired to make a fuss about it and just placed my plate on top of it.

They do panizza right. There's balance in the thickness and crispness of the crust, perfect for folding or rolling. The place is spacious and the staff are attentive. Panizza is pricier than most but I think quite worth it. I ordered pasta as well, Amatriciana I think, and quite enjoyed it.

They just have some weird art at the space that has an alcove.

Pretty good Italian. Moderately priced. I had the spaghetti and meatballs and the crem brûlée I would do it again.

The restaurant is pricey! P800 for an order of panizza.

We ordered Rolls Royce Panizza which has sundried tomato, salami, US scallops and shrimps. The crust of the panizza was soft and easy to fold. The taste wasn't too distinct, parang Hindi sya like super "wow ang sarap". It was good, Ganun.

Also ordered spaghetti w meatballs. They were generous w the meatballs and it was tasty.

They also serve yummy warm bread w dip (olive oil, pesto, Parmesan cheese).

Overall, service was excellent. Ambiance was good. Food was good too but not great as I expected it to be.

Nice to know that the Italian Resto famous for their panizza is now in makati!

We ordered salad (can't recall which one), shrimp appetizer (similar to gambas but more flavorful) and panizza.

Salad was ok. I liked their shrimp appetizer since it had a thicker sauce with peppers which gave it more character than simply garlic and olive oil. Their panizza (8 slices) was good for 2, even for 3. I liked that you can split the flavors. We got half meat half seafood. Love that you roll it with arugula and alfalfa.

Ambience is ok for a pretty small place. Would have preferred though that the lights were dimmer.

Amazing food!! Absolutely one of the best Italian restos I've tried in the neighborhood. Great panizza and pasta. Well balanced and clean flavors. House iced tea is super yummy. Can't wait to come back for more, especially the tiramisu (they didn't have it when we ate here). :-)
