Worked with two of my bestfriends here. Had Cappuccino (PHP80) and a slice of Oreo Cheesecake (PHP97 I think).

Everything was so-so. But this is a good place to work. Just as how my bestfriend described it, "one of the most peaceful cafés in Cubao."

It's a place where you could sit and relax for hours or just eat and study for your exams. Not overcrowded unlike other cafés you'll find nearby cubao and peaceful too! Just the perfect place for your 'me time'.

Sorry for the panget shot, I did not enjoy my Pomodoro cos of the pasta, parang overcooked ... Super grainy when you chew it. Parang luma. Ewe.

I was too happy to finally find a cozy cafe in Cubao. Starbucks, Coffee Bean & J.Co are always too crowded to get some things done. It has a high ceiling and an ambiance that is very relaxing. We just ordered their cakes (price range P120-150) in Tiramisu and Chocolate Pistacchio. The Tiramisu was really delicious at first, but it eventually got to sweet for my liking. The Chocolate Pistacchio on the other hand was just okay. Maybe I'll try their drinks & some other dishes next time. 128522

Araneta center cubao is becoming high-end uhh128512 impressive interiors cozy and good for "me time" moments. Variety of food to select from appetizer to desserts. Came here with a friend just to catch up ordered chocolate crunchies- blended chocolate with crushed oreo* not so "wow" ordinary drink. Hello to white chocolate baked cheesecake!!!! *rich and creamy cheesecake covered with whitechocolate ganache, a bit salty.. Iwas umay but promise it is a must try!128512

It's a quiet place with great food. I ordered the spicy sardines at P185. It did remind me of home :) . I'm a fan of the Kapitolyo branch so I thought I'd try this place which is nearer where I live. Overall the Kapitolyo branch has a better vibe.

I give this visit 3 stars because of the following:
1. Seems like a limited menu compared to Kapitolyo
2. No coffee - the machine just broke down :(
3. Unhappy staff - seem to exude a negative vibe. The cashier didn't even recommend anything. And when I got excited about the sardines when I saw it the waiter just gave me blank look.

Better fix the coffee machine soon...!

Chocolate Pistaschio P127/slice (my usual order at Kapitolyo branch, but, I was not convinced. Umay on the 1/4 past of the slice, pang sharing tlg sakin yung isang slice ng cake)
Choco Crunchies with Coffee P95 medium (just tried this for a change, no matcha drink on the menu, it was ok for me)

Will try the deli pinoy pasta and sausages on my next visit (my 2nd and 3rd usual order at Cab Cafe Kapitolyo)

Free wifi, clean washroom
Not busy on a Sunday at 9:30am

Great place for chitchat. limited menu, ugly menu btw, clipboard and poorly printed on bond paper? seriously? hahaha

I ordered butterscotch Frappe, a "bestseller" at 130php, not bad.

also ordered pasta carbonara. which tasted like regular cafeteria food. nothing special. for 175php i wouldnt recommend it. 128523 overall it's nothing special.

Visited their newly opened branch in Manhattan Parkway Residences, which is shaping up to be another cool hangout area...

So three of us met up last night, just to catch up and talk... I suggested this place having already visited and enjoyed their Kapitolyo branch...

So this one is much cozier and nicer than the first branch... Very spacious and clean... We sat on one of the cushy seats and asked for the menu... We had time to study the menu, since our other friend was a bit late... Upon studying the menu, I noticed that it's not as extensive as their original branch... They are missing several appetizers, sandwiches and their whole pizza line... Well, it's still a pretty new branch, so understandable...128522

When our friend came, we discussed what to order... We got the Caesar salad to share... One got the tapa, another the roast beef sandwich and I got the al funghi tartufo pasta... We also ordered different kinds of beer, my choice being Blue Moon... The tapa was pretty good, the roast beef was okay and the tartufo was okay as well... The servings were generous, definitely... 128522

We also shared the pavlova and strawberry shortcake for dessert... For me, both were okay... We wanted to have coffee there, but they close so early! They were closing by 9pm! I don't know if it's because they are in their early dry run days, but I hope they extend their store hours...

The staff were newbies, but you know that they have pretty good training... Very courteous and helpful, though still learning the ropes... Food was served promptly as well... With a bit more time, I hope they become a bit more polished... Overall, our visit was okay and pleasant... Good service, big servings, great value for your money... I may not give the highest rating yet, but it won't keep me from coming back... 128522

I was delighted when i heard that Kapitolyo's Cab Cafe opened a branch in Cubao so we gave it a go earlier tonight. Hehe. This time, we tried their pasta. What we had:
1) spaghetti carbonara - it was creamy, tasty and al dente but nothing special.
2) pinoy deli pasta - as from the name, it's very pinoy! It has spanish (lol not too pinoy pala :)) sardines, salted egg, and fresh tomatoes. If you love spanish sardines, this one's for you. But even if you dont, try it and you might change your mind :)). It's very tasty. Well now i'm speechless. I run out of words to describe it. Let simply put it this way, it's perfect. Never leave Cab Cafe without trying it!
3) apple cucumber coolers - tastes like green apple without a tangy after taste. Liked it!

In comparison with the branch in Kapitolyo, this one has more contemporary interior. I would want to commend the staffs for a nice service . Good job! Hehe

Got Cab cafe's carbonara pasta around PHP 100+ and strawberry cheesecake muffin PHP 50 127860127837127838127856

Carbonara pasta is a favorite dish and staple in most menus in restaurants that I can't help to compare it to our home made. This one did not disappoint it was creamy, tasty and the noodles were firm. 128523128077127860

The muffin was a little dry at some parts but real good too 128077
